I brought three pairs of white shoes to have cleaned. I've had these shoes dry cleaned At a different location before with no issues. First off, I was told it would take a week to clean them. That They would be ready April 1. I came back April 8 to pick them up and she said she "Still haven't had time" to clean the third pair, but she cleaned two out of three. Actually she didn't clean them, She just wrapped them in plastic bags and handed them back to me. I calmly pointed out the dirt that was obvious And she started acting erratic and told me to "take one shoe And take it to another dry cleaners And then bring it back to her so they could compare how white it was." She clearly has mental issues. She didn't apologize or offer any solution. I knew she hadn't cleaned them. There was a black piece of tape on the bottom and when I pointed to it, she said it was a stain that she tried to get off, but she couldn't. It was a piece of tape I ripped off myself. She charged me $40 for this whole scene. She scared the other customers in the room with her behavior. Not only that, I was treated very poorly for simply asking her to do what I paid her to, which was clean my shoes. I obviously will not be going back, but I also disputed the credit card charges because she was holding my shoes and kept taking them out of my hands and refused to give them back to me until I paid. Just tried to pick up my clothes at 6:40pm and Google says they close at 7, but when I walked in a young girl said they were closed and they've been closed for a while now (with an attitude. I said well Google says 7.... so? And she replied that she will let her boss know and that there's nothing she can do. She was very rude about it. I told her she needs to tell them to update the hours and she was like yes okay and I also mentioned to maybe close the doors at least and turn off the open sign. Just dealing with her attitude made me not want to come back here. I understand she's young and the store hours aren't her fault.... but maybe be a bit nicer to a customer? This place has been taking care of me for 4 years now, and I wouldn't go to any other cleaners as long as their doors are open. They do my weekly laundry (fluff and fold) without damaging any of my favorite fitting shirts. They've saved my sons favorite stuffed animal more than once, they've repaired pillows and dresses, replaced buttons and have even helped me stitch custom ribbon pins for me. They are fast ( even faster if you talk to them about a certain date you need everything done by ) , their prices are more than fair and the people who work there are like family to me at this point. DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR WEDDING DRESS! My dress was turned in to clean and when I got it back and actually took it out, I noticed it was the wrong dress. I called this establishment and upon hearing about the mix up, the lady LAUGHED AT ME and told me it's my problem. The dress was brought back and shown to not be the same label or design and the lady was extremely RUDE, insensitive and completely non empathetic what so ever. She said she would call around, but a few days later when I called for a check up, she basically told me it's my fault, she didn't see any other wedding dresses there and basically too bad! Now not only is my WEDDING dress gone forever, someone else has mine and maybe doesn't even know it because the establishment doesn't care to check or call around. She told me I must have turned in the wrong dress, as if I have wedding dresses laying around!!! The worst part is honestly accidents happen , I was not even mad over it at the beginning , I just wanted to rectify the situation, But now not only do I have no wedding dress, but the cleaners were so rude and could care less. My daughters will never be able to wear my dress, I paid all that money and now just to have it GONE and to people who told me too bad, it's my fault, and they could care less to even TRY to fix the situation. Oh and don't forget laughing at me for being so upset that my dress is missing. Disgusting treatment. Just as a human being the lady is horrible... absolutely disgusting. Oh my God I love this cleaners! She is so nice and so friendly. I couldn't believe that I found a cleaner like this. The type of cleaners that my mom would go to and I have been looking for a cleaners like this for over 10 years and I finally found one. She's not expensive especially when you have a lot of clothes to put in to be clean from you moving and you have bags and bags of clothes that you unbox where you can hang up yourself or steam press. But anyway I decided I was going to put them in the cleaners and have her to do them and she was so nice and just so sweet up. I mean what can I say other than two express? How nice she was and just just really wake up, peaceful and pleasant person and just you go in there and you see this big old smile on her face when you come into her business and to me she makes it like she's personable with each one of her clients that come into the cleaners because even though it's a business and when you have a business you want someone to treat you like a person and not just like a business suit. Oh let me get your stuff and get you out the door. Hers is not like that. It's like I want to treat you with care. I'm going to take my time to get you in the cleaners and get you out. I am new to the area and have never gotten anything dry cleaned so I didn't know what to expect but the lady in the front was super patient and kind in explaining how it works which I really appreciated. I have been going to this cleaners since 1996. Years ago, the former owner accidentally washed something, it wasnt totally ruined just disnt look the same. Accidents happen. Otherwise, I continued using them for year. Yesterday, 4-16-19, I went to pick up my garments. I had some health issues and was unable to pick it up since December. Honestly, I didn think it would be a problem. I had been a customer so many years. They had my items; however, the attitude and look of irritation from the woman was really quite undeserving. I have come to this cleaner for quite some time now because of convenience. The price is decent but not better then any other cleaners. I never know what I'm going to pay everytime I go since there's no pricing listed or provided ahead of time. I was fine with it because they do an ok job and the service is quick. Today they have given me a whole new perspective on how they treat their customers. On 9/15, I went to Peggy's Perfect Fit to inquire about getting one whole piece of material cut into two pieces and hem one side of each. They provided a price of $26 to cut and to hem. It was a very simple job to do so to me it wasn't worth the price to pay. The price break down was $16 to cut and $5 each to hem. I had to stop by Ocean Breeze Cleaners to drop off my clothes anyway so I decided to cut the material into two equal pieces and took them to the cleaners for pricing. The owner and I had discussed about how much to take in and what the material was going to be used for. Because of the usage purpose I don't need it hemmed all around, just one side hemmed on both pieces. I was very surprised when she gave me a pricing of $2 each per pieces because Peggy's was going to charge me $5 each. I accepted the price and agreed to get it done. Today 9/20, I went to the cleaners to pick up my clothes along with the materials, little did I know I was going to get ripped off. The lady who worked there told me that my bill was $40 and $30 of it was the hem job. I was so confused and very surprised because this was not what we discussed and agreed to. I wouldn't pay $26 at Peggy's so I would have never agreed to pay $30 for such a simple job. The lady had put the owner on the phone to speak with me. During the two minute conversation I had with her, she was speaking over me the whole time and was just very rude. She did not want to have a discussion or work out a solution as she was determined to prove herself right. I had my sister with me at the time when I dropped off the material so she heard the conversation and know what was agreed to. The owner could have discussed the matter like a mature adult and provide some customer service then maybe she wouldn't have lost me as a customer. read more

My husband and I started taking our dry cleaning here a year ago and they have pleasantly surprised us with there outstanding service. Every time my husband, or myself pick up our cleaning the associates grab our clothes without us even telling them who we are, or needing a ticket. Our pick-ups are always ready next day, as we request along with anything they find needing fixing having been taken care of; whether it be a loose, button, or stitching needing tightened. When I asked Joanne the next time she said she had credited me, I tried explaining to her she hadn't; she was very strong with me saying she had & pretty much said I was wrong. My family and I have been going her for over 10 yrs.. in the last 2-3 yrs we keep losing clothing and in the last 6-8 months my clothes come back with holes, tears, often times it is brand new clothes that I havent even worn yet. I expect to occasionally have a few accidents here and there but now it is a weekly basis. When I talked to the owner Joanne, she said that it is because clothes arent made like they were used to .. let me tell my dresses are over $300 and my shirts are $150-200..I have tops that come back without their straps, tops that have bra-strap tabs that have been plainly torn from its site... pants with torn zipper, missing buttons and flowers, appliques that have been ripped for no reason.. not just because it snagged but plain ripped... My family and I spend over $10,000 to $12000 conservative estimate here and I will never go back and I will find a new clearner.. NOONE should ever bring expensive or delicate clothing her because as Joanne said.. she can only handle industrial strength clothing or fabric because she and her workers are incapable of dry cleaning expensive, quality or delicate clothing...!!! I own a business and I told her she owed me an apology for the fact of ruining my clothes and for inconveniencing me to have to come back and forth.. I have been a regular customer at least once a week or more for over a year. I recently had my purse cleaned there. It wasn't a very expensive purse but I liked it. Well they kept it over 10 days and charged me at least $20 dollars (they couldn't tell me how much it really was since I had also cleaned several over items at the same time). After I got home with it I realized that they had torn out one of the straps from the purse and then glued it. On top of the glue they put a zip tie that is scratchy. I'm really not mad that it was ripped, but I am mad that they charged me $20+ when they broke it. I just wanted a refund. Joanne, the boss, yelled at me and completely denied their shoddy work. DO NOT EVER PATRON A BUSINESS THAT YELLS AT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I will find a new cleaners that is much nicer. read more
