Promised a female provider and none available…read more Promised to scholarship my daughter for a device to help with withdrawal and then changed that and tried to charge 650.00 for the device. Staff are unprofessional. My daughter heard staff make fun of the patients and providers that work for them. Also my daughter asked to see provider and they were not available and had to wait for almost 2 days. When we picked her up after she left, she was in significant withdrawal. Attempted to speak the clinical director with was a very aggressive person and she would not take any responsibility for the way her staff treated my daughter. Her response to my concerns was "your daughter is the problem, not my staff". My daughter also stated they tried to push medication on her (a long-term) injection after she told them she did not want to take it because she wanted to be free of controlled substances. They also refused to discharge her with her previously prescribed medication for a chronic illness and her insurance would not pay again for. I asked around it appears they pay their previous clients to post positive reviews. DO NOT GO HERE.

Her evaluation was exacting and thorough. I was very impressed. She explained every step she was about to do and What is was meant to accomplish. I felt immediately safe in capable hands. She is specifically a hand therapist. I was given print out directions to guide me with eggar to do at home, to keep improving , and optionally an online set of directions. Furthermore, she explained various splints that may assist in my healing. She washed hands several times and cleaned equipment as we proceeded. Their equipment appeared very clean and very up to date. In these days of Covid I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility. Everyone is very competent and well trained.

Once they have your money or insurance locked in, the care stops, the communication goes dead, and you are completely ignored and silenced.The administrators and leadership, including Chris Spencer, refuse to answer basic inquiries, right their wrongs, or even offer a simple apology for substandard care. They claim to teach dignity, but they treat vulnerable service members with absolute carelessness.Do not trust your mental health, your recovery, or your loved ones to this facility. They are a predatory, heartless operation that targets veterans in need and leaves them worse off than when they arrived. I am currently submitting a full evidence packet of their regulatory violations to the California DHCS, the Joint Commission, and state representatives to ensure they are held accountable. I will say this, so far, it's going extremely well. The staff at my house is helpful and caring. They really go out of their way to make the people here feel comfortable & that in itself is truly appreciated, Esp bc I had serious fear and doubt about coming here at all. I've been pleasantly surprised at the level of care by the house staff. In particular.. April, Ivan, Tammy & Sutter have been a huge source of help in my treatment. I can talk to them about anything ( & I have had multiple meltdowns) & always receive a supporting conversation leaving me feeling very positive about the experience regardless of how uncomfortable I may be, feeling my feelings. Theo whom is my case manager is exceptional at his job. He is kind and very resourceful in all the aspects I ask of him. Like helping me with SDI, Doctor appointments and special requests- great listener and easy to talk to which is highly appreciated Brian my therapist is incredible at what he does. He is so well balanced calm and smart! I'm learning great EDMR & DBT Skills which have been a life saving tool in this process. Not using cannabis as a crutch was very difficult at first, I've used this for anxiety for a decade - Brian has truly helped me regulate my intense emotions through great breath work and other tools , Like EDMR Therapy . The counselors are lovely friendly and attentive , I truly have no complaints , I'm extremely committed to my healing so knowing these professionals care is very nice. I can really only speak from the mental health program which has been fantastic for me.. I put in a request to extend my stay because of the positive impact this is having for me. I attribute that to the people who work here completely. This review is from my personal experience. It has been a breath of fresh air for me. If you are struggling I would recommend trying this .
