They listen and take care of us. Our X23 is SOLID. It is a head turner. We get compliments every day on the water from NorCal's awesome color design. This boat operates and fine tunes waves so well, we absolutely love our boat and surfing sessions. Family, friends, guests, are always stoked. We love the special mesh flooring (so comfy - neat & easy to clean), heaters (are a must), bright underwater lights, very luxurious upholstery, epic folding tower, the surround sound system is so clear and just pumping. Go big, it's worth it, you won't regret it. Thank you for the exceptional experience.

I'd say Jason is a normal person and easy to talk to but he is completely unorganized and unprofessional as a business person and I have no clue how he stays in business. Good luck reaching him on his business line as he almost never answers it and the voice mail was always full when I called it. The few times he did call me it was always from other numbers, a couple times my caller ID for the number showed a woman's name but luckily I still picked up to hear his latest excuses. In my first experience I could never reach anyone when I'd call the business line during business hours. But his shop is really close to my house so I just drove over one day and there he was. I needed the family boat looked at, he told me to come back in a week and drop my boat off first thing in the morning on a Wednesday. I showed up right at the appointment time he set, 9am when they open but Jason was nowhere in sight. I tried to call him but he was obviously not there yet. Sent a text to the woman's phone but he never responded. So I waited... he ended up showing up somewhere between and hour and hour and a half after start if business. Bad sign but I know shit happens. He seemed really excited to get me "Back on the water" as it was still prime summertime in the middle of July. I left my boat and he inspected it that day. I think his assessment was likely correct. He charged me around $300 for the inspection but told me he would hook me up on the actual repair. Parts needed to be ordered. I agreed. He acted super weird about ordering parts telling me that I better show up for service and not leave him with these parts. I offered a deposit and he passed saying that I seemed like a trustworthy person. At this point I would receive almost no communication or updates from Jason. I had to basically drive to his shop once a week and hope to catch him. It took around a month for him to get parts. Occasionally he couldn't remember who I was and had to go through his hand written notes to find my information, no computer. Once parts were in he told me he couldn't do the job by himself and was waiting for his one staff member to start coming back to work. Lots of excuses. He did finally text me one time in late September and said his guy should be coming back soon and he could do the job in a couple weeks. I asked for a set date and he responded probably in November. On October 31st I asked him for an update but he never followed up. On November 1st I asked again, no response. Keep in mind he had my contact information regardless of whose phone he was using. I got sick of showing up to his shop randomly just to hear excuses. So for about 6 months he got nothing done. When he first inspected my boat he took apart several parts and left them on the floor of my boat. I asked if he forgot to put them back and he said don't worry I'll have it all fixed soon. Parts are still not where they belong. At the end of the day Jason is a poor businessman and does not communicate with his customers. He left me high and dry and now I'm forced to go somewhere else and pay all over again for an inspection fee and still have not had any work completed. Bums like this do not deserve your business. I advise to avoid. Being charged an inspection fee and pushing off repair for half a year is basically stealing from customers. Time is valuable and this man wasted mine without cause or concern.

His answer was you're not turning it correctly. A huge 4-seater Jet ski shouldn't flip over while only driving 5 miles per hour. Who knows what he did to it. He also mentioned if anyone tries to sue him, Ultimate Motor Sports has full time lawyers that are his family members. Who knows how many people he's done this to. Last year he had so many bad reviews (including mine) that he somehow got removed. That's why all you see is the same 8 good reviews. Must be the lawyer thing he refers to. Jason and Ultimate Water Sports will definitely put you and your loved ones in danger by working on your water sports. Beware and be safe!

However I held very…read morelittle hope of ever seeing it because it was my understanding that you never know when or where it'll ever appear. So when my wife mentioned that Napa Valley Paddle was doing a guided kayak tour though bioluminescent waters in Tomales Bay I had no choice but to book a trip. I've been kayaking exactly twice before and both times on lakes in broad daylight. So I was a little nervous about kayaking in a salt water bay in the dark. Hopefully the water is smooth and it doesn't get too choppy for my wife and I. Also, I had low expectations, maybe the plankton won't be there that night, and if it is, it's probably a very subtle glow that you almost have to use your imagination to see. When we arrived we found ourselves in a parking lot at the Miller Boat Launch in Marshall. We got some basic instructions on kayaking, given life vests and whistles and headlamps set to red light to wear backwards. It was all pretty laid back and chill. As the sun went away and the fog came in we paddled out to Hog Island and by the time we were close to it, it was dark enough that some people were beginning to see the water light up. Fortunately the water was very calm and it was comforting to see all the red headlamps on the water to guide us on our way. We paddked clear across the bay to the other side where there were cliffs making the water especially dark there. This is where we turned off all of our lights. There was no subtlety at all, it was nothing less than magical. The water lit up with every paddle and every splash. It was a smooth blue glow in the dark with occasional spatks mixed in. We spent a good while paddling around and splashing and generally bring awed by the trippy water. Then it was time to start heading back, the goal was to paddle around the other side of Hog Island where the water is also very fun to look at. However the water glowed the whole way there even. Unfortunately this is also when conditions changed. We had a nasty headwind and the water got choppy. We were seriously worried we might capsize as we paddled like crazy to get to the island again. When we finally got there, we were done. We just wanted was to get back to the car and go home and drink hot coacoa. So we kept on paddling as hard as we could while we struggled to keep the kayak heading in the right direction. People were starting to scatter and soon the only lights to follow were at the boat launch we came from. Whether that actually was the boat launch was debatable but it was the only indication of civilization so we kept heading in that direction. Maybe it was because we were heavier than anyone else or perhaps we just couldn't paddle very well but we lagged behind in the dark. To make things even more interesting the conditions continued to worsen. We had to fight the wind and the choppy water harder as we made that last leg of the paddle back to shore. Fortunately the lights we were aiming for did happen to be where we needed to land and although we missed the dock we did get to shore soaked but not dreched and we managed to actually make it without going into the drink. Needless to say, it became an adventure however no one could have predicted conditions would change like they did. Apparently under typical conditions we would have had a tail wind and that part of the trip should have been the easy part. A professional paddle boarder who was with our group told us those conditions were "insane" and it was not something she would have willingly attempted unless it was over a short distance in daylight. So we feel better about ourselves having a hard time making it back. I'm very glad we did this, it's a beautiful memory, and a great story to tell, and I highly recommend going.

Loved talking with Drew beforehand, learning about wetland restoration efforts and how quickly nature can rebound. The slough was peaceful and sparkling on this sunny October afternoon. While there is much to see and do in Napa, this experience at the end of our trip was a definite highlight.

Prospective buyers should look closely before committing. The fleet is now made up of aging boats, roughly 4-6 years old, and the wear is evident. Inventory has reportedly been reduced from 9 boats to 5, including only 2 surf boats, while pricing remains unchanged. At the same time, members are being asked to move to an "unlimited bookings" model that still limits usage to no more than 3 bookings per month!!! Last season alone, boats experienced issues ranging from failed ballast pumps and broken amps to damaged railings and inconsistent availability. Yet despite reduced inventory, aging equipment, and declining service levels, ownership appears intent on maintaining the same pricing without meaningful reinvestment. Anyone considering joining should do their homework, verify the facts independently, and speak with former members. Membership has reportedly fallen from 42 to 17 and continues to trend downward. That kind of decline does not happen without reason.

The currents would take her out to the Pacific, where she hoped to be, recalling her young womanhood in Santa Monica. I didn't want to scatter her ashes--having to lose one more thing of hers, and I also wanted to avoid the risk of the ashes blowing back on us--so I bought a biodegradable container. Rowan offered to set it in the water for me, along with the peonies. I watched it until it sank. Rowan circled the boat long enough to allow me to see it until I was comfortable with leaving.
