Wow, excellent views. I walked in and took the first seat I saw with an excellent view. Sunny and beautiful views of lovers points I had a flight of seltzer and one beer. So good! The seltzers are very sweet. But delicious. My favorite was the grapefruit. The pizza was a combination of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, olives. A perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The crust was a thin soft crust. Almost thought it wasn't cooked all the way through, but Wrong. It was and perfectly designed for folding and eating. Service(?), outstanding! Joseph was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of seats inside, outside and at the bar: they also have a brunch menu and cocktails. Mimosa flights and margarita flights. I have followed them on instagram and wanted to check them out for a while! My husband and I arrived on a Sunday around noon and when we walked in there was a cute bar yet the three people behind the bar didn't acknowledge us. Confused we walked to what we assumed was the host stand and she asked us for two? We were sat at the window and had a great view of the ocean, even in the downpour that was happening! We only ordered the mimosa flight, a sunrise seltzer and the grilled oysters. Unfortunately it took far too long for them to come out and I was disappointed in about half of the drink. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was relatively packed with new guests coming through the doors pretty consistently. I wanted to try one of their pizzas but didn't think our party of two could finish it granted I was not leaving without trying their Shrimp Cobb Salad. So, we ordered the Shrimp Cobb Salad and raw oysters to share. The salad was perfect -- loaded with tons of pure goodness. I absolutely loved how generous these guys were with the blue cheese dressing because the dressing makes all the difference in the world. Avocados were fresh and delightful, and the cherry tomatoes had the perfect hint of sweetness. We absolutely enjoyed the salad and finished the dish in its entirety. The oysters were good also. They're definitely short staffed but I think that's true across the hospitality industry board. Nonetheless, the food was excellent. I would return when in the area again. read more

Just a heads up, they may not be open when they say they are. I have come in a bunch of times because the food is good and the location is wonderful. This review is based on their communication of hours. I have now come three different times and they were closed even though their website, Google, and Yelp say they are open. Two of the times were because they have special events and close to the public but they don't post online any notice. One of the times I came and they were closed because of winter hours. Their website said nothing about these new regular hours and I even called that morning asking if they would be open and they never said it was limited hours. read more

Stopped in California Seltzer Co for lunch yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by the specials offered. We decided to split the BBQ Apricot Pulled Pork Sandwich. The pork was tender and the sauce had a slightly sweet tanginess with just a touch of heat. Topped with smoked gouda and romaine all piled on a delicious french baguette. This was delicious! With the french fries, it was more than enough to split. We also shared their churros for dessert. They were crispy outside, stuffed with cream cheese, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with both chocolate and dulce de leche for dipping. This was a real treat! I hope they continue offering specials to help round out their menu. I also noticed they have a Thursday special - pizza and a pint for $20. Not a bad deal at all. If you have not been for awhile, give them another chance! You can't beat the view and the manager, bartender and servers are always friendly and welcoming. read more

The prices for some of the food is too much and the food was not even that good. The fettuccine pasta was bland. It was not that bad tho. The service was fine. Our waitress was nice. The ambiance was nice and clean. I liked how it wasn't cluttered and there was a nice ocean view. The tuna tostadas weren't even tostadas bruh. It was so small like one bite each and the "tuna" wasn't even tuna tasting. I think im just used to seasoning my food and maybe thats why the food here was mid. The crispy chicken sandwich was ass. We had a fabulous lunch today. Ordered the Cobb salad with salmon, supreme pizza, and shrimp tacos. The salmon was seared to perfection! Oh lala-and the portion and quality were outstanding; it was the best Cobb salad I've ever eaten and definitely one to get if you love funky complex blue cheese. The shrimp tacos were so fresh and tender, the tacos were fully loaded and came with a pico de Gallo and tomatillo sauce both of which were very fresh. The pizza was pretty good and we took most of it as leftovers, I was pretty impressed with the dough and marinara sauce. It was a gorgeous Indian summer day in PG and it was a perfect spot to soak in the ocean breeze, watch the sailboats, and spend time with people you love. Service was great. With such a wonderful, busy location you would think this business would know how to handle business. The bartender seemed irritated we asked for patio seating (it's the ocean, we're not from here, who wouldn't want to sit on the patio?!). It took 15 minutes for water to be placed, asked for beers and a pretzel. The beer took another 15 or more minutes to come, the pretzel came after the beer and was crazy salty and their "beer cheese"..... literally nacho cheese out of a can! There was not a drop of beer in the cheese. The waitress was friendly but clearly couldn't handle everything going on. Hopefully the owner can figure it out. They weren't even open on time and seems like your missing on money from soooo many people walking by. Beautiful location but management definitely needs to step it up. read more

Beautiful new spot in Pacific Grove. The building and the interior is picturesque and feels very cheerful. Very aesthetically pleasing. Although the location and spot is beautiful, the food and service was sub par. The pizzas were very over priced for the quality. The pizza and the salad were both pretty bland. The seltzer tasted like sparkling water that someone squirted perfume in. The service wasn't great either. The host/ordering stand is tucked inside. That was the first and last time we talked to a server the entire time we were there--minus our food getting brought to the table. No one checked on us either. I wouldn't recommend eating here but I would recommend coming for the insta pics though! read more

This is a wonderfully placed bar in Pacific Grove. There is ample street and private parking. A bartender told me that 40 years ago, it was a disco hall... fun! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is heated to enjoy the cool PG evenings. The kitchen is open, so you can definitely see how the cooks are prepping your food. Looks like a coal-fired oven for pizza. They have high-chairs for kids and the bathrooms were super clean. I had the Pink Lemonade. It wasn't too sweet, and was very tasty and refreshing. I am a regular, whenever I can actually find them open to the public. They have a multitude of private parties. The last time I was in there with a friend, they had one waitress that was obviously stressed, which was reflected in her interactions with the customers. Should not take 20 minutes to get a coke. They had 4-6 other people delivering water to tables. They could have also delivered non alcoholic drinks to help the server. Pizza was good. Everybody can have a bad day. I'm a pretty easy going customer and will give them another visit. read more

This could be a really nice restaurant. It has a great location overlooking the beach. If you only want drinks then they have some cool specials. I ordered a coffee that was luke warm with coffee grounds floating. I ordered the classic breakfast with a side order of chicken sausage and over easy eggs. My eggs were over cooked and I did not get bacon that the meal comes with. This wouldn't have been a big deal but it took a while for the food to get to our table and was cold and potatoes were soggy. The meals are over priced as it is but they charged extra for the sausage even though they did not give me the bacon. The waitress was not friendly and did seemed she did not want to be there. She was overwhelmed from the three tables that were seated. Overall horrible experience and would not go back. The pictures online make it seem worth to try but after this experience there are so many other options in town that I'd rather go to Starbucks and get a breakfast sandwich. read more

We came in today 4/06/2024 12pm. We left at 1:30pm and they started to get busier. We were greeted and seated right away. Located next to lovers point beach and next to the rec trail. It was a beautiful day with gorgeous ocean views. We opted to order from their brunch menu (10am-2pm). We ordered the pizza al pastor, open face omelet and French toast. Fresh ingredients and simple. All were very delicious. For drinks we ordered the classic mimosa and sample flight (hazy, blonde, berry rush seltzer, Hawaii punch seltzer). We enjoyed the drinks just as much. Jeffery was our server. He was pleasant and check in on us often. Total came out to $87 plus tip is $105. You can also opt to enjoy just a drink, a stroll at lovers point and enjoy the view. My friend & I, planned on coming to this outstanding establishment. We are super excited on trying out this new place since it had opened. There is a small parking lot for customers, and a standing menu as well. Host stand is a little hidden, and hard to find. We ordered two pizzas as well as a hard pink lemonade seltzer. Nice enough stop on a bike ride in Monterey. I got a ham and cheese quiche. It was good tasting and would probz get it again, but it was really cold. I wish they had warmed it up and I think it would've been great. I also got a hibiscus seltzer. For being a seltzer place, I kinda thought it would be the best seltzer ever, but it was just okay.
