Been coming here for almost a year now and by far the best nail place I've been to. My nail person is Ha and she has varied schedule, just book with her for her availabilities. I have been very happy with her work. This salon is located by Stanford Ranch, in the complex across from Black Bear Diner. A lot of parking spaces are available. Quiet and welcoming. Reasonable pricing for the Roseville area. I am very happy with the powder dipped nail art and it lasts 3-4 weeks. read more

I'm sure there's other nail artists at this business who do a good job but unfortunately my experience was horrible. I went in to get a Mani and Pedi. Asked for French tip on both. However, the lady with the grey bob haircut was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. She asked numerous times what color I wanted and I could tell she was rushing to get me out of there. She kept pulling and pushing my hand in a rough matter. I'm going on a trip today and things like this completely bring me down. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and the lines on the French are not straight. She hurt my hand so many times because of how hard and fast she was filing. So upsetting. Do they care? Probably not. But I hope this review helps anyone who is looking for a last minute nail appointment close to Galleria. Go somewhere else, trust. read more

I really wanted to like this salon, which is why I gave them three chances before deciding to leave this review. Unfortunately, I gave them too many chances, and every single time there was an issue. My first visit was decent overall, but after I got home, I noticed bubbles in the polish on several nails. I also noticed that the polish was extremely thin near the free edge of multiple nails, to the point that it was see-through in places. I didn't notice these issues until I saw my nails in different lighting. On my second visit, I got a full set. This experience was much more disappointing. My nails were cut much shorter than I expected, and the process felt rushed and rough. I have very curved nails, so I have to be careful about how short they are cut and how the sides are filed because cutting them too low and filing the sides on an angle too low increases the risk of ingrown nails. Several nails were filed at an angle too low down and they should not have been because my nail shape is square round, which I purposely get to avoid this problem . I was also planning on getting nail art on a couple of nails, but because the experience with the full set was so negative and there were already so many issues, I decided not to do it. The acrylic application was also very sloppy. Acrylic extended onto my skin and underneath every nail. Most of the acrylic underneath eventually fell out on its own, but several nails still had acrylic trapped underneath five weeks later because she didn't remove the it. There were so many bubbles in the polish that several nails had to have the polish removed and reapplied. To her credit, Linh recognized that the work was subpar and reduced the price of my full set from $60 to $50, which I appreciated. I decided to give the salon one last chance and went back for a fill. Linh remembered my concern about the filing on an angle and made sure not to repeat that mistake, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall quality still wasn't there. The polish application was again sloppy. There are multiple areas where the polish is too thin and see-through, including one very obvious spot in the middle of a nail and another spot closer to the side of the same nail. Several other nails have thin areas along the sides as well. There are also a couple of nails where the entire nail was not painted, and places where the second coat did not cover the first coat completely, so you can clearly see the two layers of color. The gel polish was not applied correctly--it was applied the way that regular polish would be but because it's a polymer it doesn't behave the same way. It wasn't applied in thin, even coats, which left the nails looking lumpy and bumpy with visible lines. After three visits, I have experienced the same problems repeatedly: bubbles, uneven and thin polish, and sloppy application. I appreciate the discount I received on my second visit and that my filing concern was remembered, but the recurring workmanship issues have convinced me that this salon is not the right fit for me. My experience overall was very pleasant. The workers were very nice and they did a lovely job with my pedicure, but they low-key scammed me. When asked which pedicure option to choose, i chose the basic one which i believe is around $35, but in the end it ended up being around $55 dollars. I remember pointing to the option i wanted on the menu and the worker was like "yea yea" but it was like he was trying not to see the option i was choosing. Honestly, not surprised with this. It's kind of common with Vietnamese culture to want to charge you more. I would know because my mom's literally Vietnamese and she warns me about this all the time. Anyways, just be careful!! I came in when I had some time to spare and had a pedicure done which this was probably the best I have gotten and I have tried many places in the area. I got a French tip, which that alone turned out really nice, but what I think I notice the most is my toes and feet look really clean, and I don't notice overgrown skin (which can be a problem for me since I wear sneakers a lot). But they did a nice job cleaning the skin and cuticles, even several times through the whole process which I really appreciate. So for that reason I'll definitely be back! read more

This nail salon is dishonest business, they told me that it'll be $45 for acrylic nails, as well as a another customer before me. Unfortunately when it came to paying the price was bumped up to $80 which would've been okay if they at least used new drill bits/files on me. But nothing was sanitized, every single thing was reused after prior clients. My cuticles are also burning, from having the drill piercing my skin several times during my time there. Called on a Tuesday morning for a gel manicure and pedicure. When I arrived it was empty and I was warmly greeted. Lynn is very sweet and made sure I was taken care of. Kevin did both of my services back to back instead of getting both at the same time because I had my infant with me. Kevin paid such attention to detail. I was surprised when he pulled out the drill bit to clean my cuticles of any gel that flooded. Worst nail salon I've ever been to. Telling everyone I know to never go here if they want anything beyond a basic color. First of all, I specifically called beforehand and asked if they could do design on short nails. I told them I was asking for a bow on one hand, little dot flowers and French tips. They said absolutely and I booked an appointment for an hour later. A man in his 30's began working on my nails and not only was the counter unsanitary, the tools he was using such as the water bowl looked disgusting and unlike any other place I've been to. As he did the bottom coat, he did a pale color but then took it off and did a pink one. He showed me the pink nail and I told him I liked the first one better and could he please do that. Unfortunately he had no clue what I was saying and continued to do pink. Since it was a minor error, I decided to just keep quiet and let him continue. Once he got to the design part (which as I mentioned I asked multiple times if they could do) he was completely incompetent. He tried to do the stem of the flower neon, yet in the picture it was a dark green. He tried to do the bow I requested and it looked like ****. He didn't even file my nails evenly so my French tips looked extremely uneven. I was visibly upset and gave up halfway through. Almost none of the design I asked for was done. They still tried charging me $40, which I paid and then went to the car with my boyfriend. He realized how upset I was over the nails and we went back in and asked for a refund. She said she would have to take the nails off to do that (which was fine by me I had to get them redone now anyways) but she was aggresive with the electric file and damaged my cuticle multiple times. While this might have been an accident or just out of anger, either way it's unacceptable. Almost two hours of my day completely wasted. I'm not mad that he couldn't do the design, I'm mad that they lied and said they could. I don't ask for perfection, but I do ask for honesty about someone's abilities. I got there at 6:20 PM. This wasnt my first time going. The service was amazing as always. What impressed me the most is that I got the best quality work from the lady who did my nails up to the last service from lotioning and massaging my hands and arms while they were closing as it was almost 8 o'clock. This impressed me because she did not make me feel in a hurry. She gave me the right quality time and service to the last minute. Jack - the guy who did my toes for the 2nd time! He is amazing!!! He makes me laugh and always always asks, "does it hurt there? Are you okay?" Every step he does he asks if I am okay! He did my toes twice and I will definitely request him from now on. The owner! - ahhh she is amazing! So welcoming and was always surprised and happy every time I went back! She showed me good service and high quality with my nails. I have never had a full set last me more than 1 month. This time I decided to do gel and give my nails a break from a full set. They turned out beautiful! The colors she has are unique and always different than places I've been to. Overall- I don't think I will go to another place. This will be my nail place to go! I'm really sad to provide this update, but I just went to the salon to get a full set acrylic manicure and pedicure, and was not pleased with the outcome. The pedicure was good, and went well. I have no comments for that. For the manicure, i had asked for an almond french tip. Initially, there was someone who was doing my nails but they cut the acrylic really short and when I had asked if it would be too short they kept saying that they would shape it and it would be fine, but I politely asked for them to change our the nails (before putting on any acrylic/paint because I didn't want to get to the end with a shape I was unhappy with. Then they switched the nail tech to someone else to restart my nails, and they were sweet! However, the entire manicure process alone took 2.5 hours and there were multiple points where they had to stop because a different tech would need to come in to fix my nails. I personally didn't like how it was a lot of restarting and fixing (from different techs) for something like a french manicure. Lastly, I got the nails done on Friday and one of the nails completely broke off the next day. I'm worried for the longevity of the rest of the nails if one nail came off a day after. I really liked this place and all of the nail techs are super nice but I was just not pleased with the last visit. read more

I do not understand how this nail salon has an almost 5 star rating. I went with my friend on Friday and by the next Thursday, I had to pull most of my gel nails off because 9 nails either chipped or lifted! They lifted to the point that my hair was getting caught underneath when I would run my fingers thru my hair. I could already tell the manicure was poorly done because a lot of the gel polish was on my skin and cuticles. I wish I said something. I don't know which is worse though because the lady who did my gel pedicure kept filing my toes... I would wince in pain and she didn't even acknowledge she was hurting my toes. THEN on top of that, I told the pedicure lady the 2 coats was too light as it didn't match the sample I chose, so I asked for 3 coats. She looks at me and puts up 2 fingers and says "three". After several tries she finally understood and put a third coat on my left foot, but tried to NOT put a third coat on my right foot!!!! I'm sorry but seriously... how is that acceptable? I told her again that I wanted 3 coats, but she continued to finish my right foot so my friend called one of the other ladies over to explain to her she needed to put a third coat also on my right foot. She begrudgingly did it and when she was done, she flung the arm of the chair up and proceeded to angrily shoo me out of the chair. I was not wrong to ask for a third coat for my damn toes to match! I wish this particular worker would recognize customers are paying her for the service and do not deserve to be treated poorly! One and done with this salon! read more
