Warning!! Horrible experience, the cleaners lost my shirt in a matter of days. Im new to the area, so found this place on yelp and decided to stop in on a Wednesday with 6 regular colllared shirts. I was told that it would take till Saturday to complete, Since I wasn't in a rush, I accepted at a charge of $2.50 per. Saturday arrives and I show up at 9am to pick up (they open at 8am) 5 of the 6 are ready and i was told to come back later or on Monday. Not sure why it would take so long, but decided to pick them all up at the same time on Monday (reluctantly). Owner took down my number and said he would call back later. Note: when dropping off, i only gave my name and received a pick up slip. I go about my day, then about 2:30pm that same day I, receive a call that the cleaners can't find my shirt and suggest I go buy another one. They lost my shirt and suggested i quickly get another and they would reimburse me for their mistake. Not knowing what type of connection or sentimental value I had with the shirt, the owner downplayed the loss of my shirt. I proceeded to try to find another shirt but due to COVID there is limited stock on dress shirts (rationale from 2 stores was, not a lot of people are going into the office, most on zoom) so finding a decent shirt was no trivial task. I considered looking for the most expensive shirt I could find but decided against it. (Trust me there were some pricy ones - see picture). Found a shirt, then took the receipt back to the cleaners to be reimbursed and pick up my other shirts. 2 separate transactions so there was no confusion. Get a check (another chore to go to the bank) then pay for the 5 shirts. $15 dollars. Pay with a $20 walk out the store. At my car I inspect the shirts and to my surprised they are covered in lots of hair and lent. I go back inside to flag the issue and get a nonchalant response. I decide to just leave. Drive off then realize I've just been charged for 5 shirts plus a shirt they lost. I go back in to the store, somehow his justification is that the price was $3 per shirt. SMH.. I get my differences back and walk out in disbelief. Warning - not professional, irresponsible with customer goods. Beware. read more

The people that run this establishment are very nice and the work in general is mid-level, but they charge too much. I've moved from the Brea area where the local dry cleaner was super cheap, great communicators, and did an excellent job especially with light dress shirts around the collar. I just dropped off some shirts and tried to explain to the gentlemen that last time they returned my shirts with collar stains still visible, and if they could please pay attention to that area this time. The gentlemen got defensive and accused me of not tracking my shirts properly as they were probably done somewhere else. I explained that I don't go anywhere else, he continued to deny, then I told him I still have the shirts in plastic, haven't worn them and I can bring them to show him. He continued to deny and would not accept responsibility. If you perhaps do a poor job on an item you should own up to it, we are all human and we make mistakes, instead of fighting the customer to tell him he's wrong. Again, the folks are nice, and they do a mid-level job, are over priced however it seems that at California Super Cleaners, the customer is always wrong. I've been going here since 2018 and have had countless articles of clothing altered here. I recently brought three pairs of new pants in (plus one pair as a sample/guide) for hemming. Upon pickup, 2 of the three pairs were cut unevenly, had crooked hems and were cut too short. I went back in to see if they could be salvaged and was blamed and told it was my fault. I was then told I'd be charged again to try and fix my pants. $200 worth of new technical pants have been ruined and I'm being charged double to walk around with high wadding, flood ready pants that flap around when I walk. Dropped off some shirt for a NYE party to be dry cleaned on 12/28/18 asked the guy or owner if I left them there would I be able to pick them up on Monday 12/31/18 he said yes that they would be open . I went to pick them up that Monday 12/31/18 and the place was closed now all my dress shirts and my hubby's dress shirts are there and now we are left with nothing but ordinary t shirts no good . My only issue was most of my shirts were not ironed thoroughly. Excellent! I once again turned to my fellow Yelpers to find a solid dry cleaning business and, once again, they did not disappoint. I was greeted immediately upon entering (that's what she said). =) I dropped my clothes off on a Friday afternoon, and - since I live/work in San Diego during the week - I asked if they could be ready by Saturday, which they said they could do. Low and behold, I showed up Saturday afternoon and all of my clothes were neatly pressed and ready for pickup. Delivered as promised! To top it off, the people were really friendly, too.
