Came in December 2025 to get Front brakes done, oil change and replace rear shocks. Oil change portion they did not reset the vehicle to restart the service timer, no decal/sticker reminder for next oil change. Brakes: took back in due to brakes pulsing when applying brake at high speeds. Not sure what they did. Was told it was ready. Came and picked it up. Seemed fine at first then it started squealing and pulsing again at the pedal. Took my vehicle to another shop for a starter problem, they let me know that whoever resurfaced my rotors did a poor job. Can I get my money back or can you do the right thing and replace the rotors that you damaged? Update! Went back this morning and talked to Adam. Adam was very helpful. Warrantied my brakes and replaced the rotors with no charge. Was in and out in a little over an hour. Adam thank you for your professionalism and taking care of this. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Went 2 times to get an alignment here through their 3 month warranty and they still couldn't get my car aligned straight(kept going to the left.) Their mechanics are incompetent lazy bones that couldn't loosen my bracket to my tie-rod. That they kept twisting and broke my bracket and twisted/crushed my new boot (see pictures). Mind you I switched all these suspension parts new I just needed an alignment. They should be ashamed the way they do business. Wanted to give the public transparency on how they work. I first stopped by Big O Tires for my 1:30 PM appointment, but they told me they were extremely backed up and asked me to come back at 5 PM. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait that long. I called American Tire Depot, and Luis told me to come right over so they could take a look. Within 20 minutes, my car was pulled into the garage, inspected, tested, and thoroughly assessed. The technicians determined everything was in perfect condition. Luis didn't charge me for anything and encouraged me to come back if I ever had any issues. Super fast, friendly, and quality service. I came here for a wheel alignment and had an appointment with Adam on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Even though I arrived 30 minutes late, Adam still accommodated me without any issue. The service was quick, everything went smoothly, and I left very satisfied. Because of that positive experience, I booked another appointment for Monday at 5 PM for a flat tire on my other car. When I arrived on Monday (on time), Adam wasn't there. The person at the reception looked at me and immediately said he couldn't help me because he was very busy. When I explained that Adam had booked my appointment and it should be honored, he told me Adam wasn't working that day and that I should talk to him when he returns. He also said he didn't know why Adam scheduled my appointment for 5 PM. He didn't offer an alternative time, wasn't courteous, and the interaction was very disappointing. Adam is great and has always treated me with respect, but the behavior of the other staff member was unacceptable -- and that's the reason for this negative review. read more

BAD. i went here to get my brakes fixed and later on they told me it will be over $1000 to fix my brakes. The problem was only one side was bad the driver side was fine. they said i need 2 rotors, brake shoes and a caliper when i only needed one side done. this guy compared fixing my brakes to bvuying tennis shoes. this is a car not a human being, said you do t buy one shoe for your feet at a time you buy a pair. in reality you can fix one axle at a time, no respect for the working class. another shop willing to fix the one axle for way less than $1000. i will not give amerocan tire depot no business. another mechanic told me my caliper was fine only needed brake shoes and rotor as well as tie rod, apparently american tire lied and tried to upsell me. my $1000 was only a $300 fix. read more

I called the store ahead and I spoke to a gentleman named Adam. I was in the market for some new tires, well overdue. Adam was very knowledgeable and had great customer service even over the phone. He didn't have a problem answering my questions beforehand. It was because of his service that I decided to go to the shop. When I got there I was greeted with the same energy. He was the one who actually greeted me. He looked at my tires and re affirmed my concerns. The tires I wanted were not at the shop however he ordered them from warehouse. I was out of there under an hour and a half as asked. Mike who was also at the front desk was just as personable and gave me tips on how to make my tires last longer. This shop was not near my house. American Tire Depot (ATD), Upland, CA location. I wish I could rate as zero stars but YELP requires minimum of one. Brake service and oil change was done on 02/23/26. Three days later on 02/26/26 the entire front passenger wheel separated from the vehicle while I was driving. The matter has been escalated to Henry S, (Owner) according to yelp but he is not an owner according to his email signature. It was then delegated to a District Manager. At this point they are accepting no responsibility or liability for any of this. They have ceased to communicate in any form after I requested a copy of the video footage of them working on my vehicle. Do not take your vehicle to American Tire Depot. They are dishonest, irresponsible and their negligence could result in serious injury and loss of life. read more

Had ATD perform recommended repairs including a CV Axel. About 4 months later I began experiencing transmission problems. Took it into another mechanic and the cause was said to be improper installation of the CV AXEL causing my transmission to leak. I'm extremely disappointed, wont be back, and when asked for a mechanic recommendation I'll say " anywhere but American Tire Depot." Btw the other mechanic was able to save the axel instead of just charging me for a new one. Don't get me started on what you guys charged to replace a low beam headlamp. Shameful. read more

Went in to get my tire patched. Had plans to buy 4 new tires the follow week. Guys took my car in no patch done. He stated there was a nail in my tire, most tire companies would have taken the customer out to show them where the issue was and why it could not be patched. Not this place. They were more concerned with trying to sell me a single tire for $300. They list flat tire and free patch on their websites and in store but this is not the case. Had they been honest and fair I would have went back in a few days and bought 4 new tires from this location. Also, once I told the guy no to his up sell his attitude changed and I was now a bother to him. Once I got in my car he even tried to tell me the other tires had issues which he never looked at or was told had problems. Anything for a sell except honesty and respect. read more

Don't waste your time with this place. I purchased 6 tires for my Dually truck with warranties which includes tire rotation and balance for the life of the tire and they WILL NOT back their warranty and rotate my tires unless I pay for it. I've had three conversations with corporate and they were supposed to have a regional manager contact me to resolve the issue, it's been a month and I haven't heard from anyone. I own several vehicles and I purchase tires frequently but this place will not get any more of my money. Americas Tire Company has always had my business but I thought I'd try American tire depot out and they gave me a better price on the tires that I purchased big mistake on my part.
