We're always on the hunt for the best shaved ice and glad we tried this for the first time. They have so many options to choose from and they even have pastries and THRIFTY ice cream which is the best non-brand ice cream out there. Everything tasted good - #6, #11, pastries (fave was bear claw and cheese muffin), strawberry banana smoothie, and taro smoothie. Place was clean for sit down and people were really nice. Will be going back

Much needed refreshments, especially during the summer. Staff were friendly and quick - another member jumped in to take orders as soon as they saw additional customers waiting in line. The smoothies were made with fresh ingredients and the boba in both the smoothie and milk tea had the perfect texture - not too hard even after being mixed with the drinks. Ambiance was also good, with solid hits playing over the speakers and the fan cooling everyone down. I'll definitely come back to try their shaved ice when I'm in the area again.

For the best Hawaiian ice in your backyard I recommend Cali's just chill. Honestly they cover healthy to the sweetest tooth. Theres donuts, ice cream, Açaí bowls, smoothies, sandwiches, boba, coffees..... I'm sure I missed a few things. Any way living in the West Covina area for some time now, I really wish I'd known about this hidden Gem a long time ago. Great guest service, nice dining area inside and out.

We got here shortly after 6 o'clock around 6:08 PM so we had just missed the buy one get one free, shaved, ice any size. But that's OK cause we like supporting businesses regardless. The few complaints we have is we didn't feel as though the syrup was, how do I put this cause you can't taste expired ones it just didn't taste fresh or maybe it was the ice cream either way my husband and I got stomach aches and the flavor wasn't as potent as we thought it would be. I also want to add it was a mess and we found a fly stuck on their croissant. The tables had stains and sugar left behind and the other table that was big enough for six people the owner took over and it was really messy and I just didn't feel comfortable there. The owner was just chilling out on the seats watching TV and even raised the volume up. We weren't happy customers overall. I would not come here and would just stick to hang loose in Glendale. It's worth the drive.

Just stopped by for some shaved ice as a nice treat in this heat. 10/10 recommend. My daughter got shaved Ice and I got a mango slush. The slush was VERY tasty and my daughter loved her shaved ice. Location is CLEAN and the staff are very friendly and attentive. If youre looking for a good treat or quick eat I recommend checking them out. They have everything from shaved ive/drinks/coffee to donuts and breakfast sandwiches!

I love the name! Their Hawaiian shaved ice is good but the shaved ice is not that fluffy compared to other shaved ice places I've had in California. There are plenty of flavors to choose from and I love the condensed milk for a snow cap. Doughnut was decent too. It is a small shop with several seating. Parking is easy to find.

PERFECT SUMMER TREAT !! summer is never quite complete without shaved ice!! This place is a donut shop and shaved ice shop, the prices are fairly cheap - M $6.28 and L $7.28!! I love their assorted flavors and the quick service! It's a very popular place during hot days and I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Overpriced bag of grease! One bite and it was like a sponge of oil with residual oil on your fingers as well. $10 and change for 3 donuts and donut holes. Was hopeful after reading reviews. Welcoming lady wasn't there for the greetings and donuts are nothing to rave about. Not worth the price or drive.

So I received this recommendation from Yelp and I went to check it out. I have been looking for a shaved ice place and was very happy that this place is close to my area. I bought a medium #9 Strawberry, Mango and Watermelon. It hit the spot perfectly. Highly recommend and will definitely return with more people. It's located near Jack In The Box in a strip mall. Very easy to find. This place is great to cool off during the hot weather. You can also buy donuts too

Wanted to get a dessert that would cool us down on this nice and warm Saturday so checked my handy dandy Yelp app... Cali's is located in a shopping center next to some other food places. They have shaved ice ,ice cream, thai tea, banana splits, smoothies, floats, donuts, sandwiches and a whole bunch more of other things to choose from. We decided on shaved ice they have 2 sizes med and lrg. Shaved ice did the job and our tummy's were pleased. Mon thru Fri they have a special on shaved ice from 3 to 6, buy 1 get 1 free!! I think it was the owner who helped us she was friendly and looks like she knows the locals Will definitely come back and try other things on the menu..

Good stop for desert after dinner. Open until 10. The ice cream is amazing. Smoothies and doughnuts are always good. It's like an adult candy store. This is one of my favorite places for a cool snack I love the cali bonola yogurt, my husband love's the chocolate banana shake and yes it's pretty dam good also in the morning's they have a bacon egg and cheese croissan'wich that's BOMB and of course they're Donuts are always great. read more

This is the number one place to be all year long for your morning breakfast sandwich and shaved ice!!! When I first walked into Cali's, I always look for great service and you will definitely get that here. They have many flavors on their menu and The people will answer all of your questions and are nice and friendly. I got an caramel iced coffee with boba and what I believed to have been the "free check in" donut. But my total was $7.88 for one drink? I did not get an itemized receipt. I'm all for supporting a small business, plus the boba/donut was decent...My issue is, the drink menu on the right side of the shop has no price specifications. Does it only come in one size (seemingly an extra large?) Or did the cashier purposely charge us for a larger drink without asking us our preferred size? Either way, a shame because I doubt I'll be back. read more

Cali's is the BEST! I haven't found a better boba smoothie (taro and Thai tea are my favorites) or donut (highly recommend the glazed and maple varieties) in the greater LA area. The owners are very attentive and friendly and the donuts are always amazingly fresh--even in the evening hours! If you're in the mood for a savory snack, the large, fluffy ham and cheese croissants (also available with jalapeño) will totally satisfy your craving. Cali's is tucked away in a strip mall at the corner of Irwindale Ave and Arrow Hwy, across the parking lot from Jack in the Box. I highly recommend skipping J Bo's and instead enjoying a tasty, freshly blended drink and sweet or savory snack at Cali's. They have a punch card for ice-blended drinks (buy 8, get one free), but the excellent service and myriad tasty delights will bring you back many more than 8 times :) read more

I usually don't post but felt that I need to this time around. I feel deceived by the 5 star ratings on Yelp when I was looking for a nice cold dessert after dinner. Came here with friends and all of our drinks were MEH. My friend's chamango even had a piece of plastic in it. My Thai tea had too much milk and barely any tea. My other friend's pina colada was bland. Lastly, my boyfriend's cookies and cream shake was watered down. Could be just this one visit, but most likely won't be visiting again. read more

I came across this place very randomly when I was in the mood for some shaved ice one day. Since i just moved to Azusa I wanted to find a place near by to try out. Stopped in here a few days ago with my Bf, we were craving something refreshing and cold in this summer heat. There is a large drink selection as well as shaved ice flavors. We got a shaved ice and it was delicious, and we also ordered a few drinks. The chamango was recommended to me by the owner, but personally it wasn't my favorite. This place had the worst customer service ever. Me and my sister went in asking questions about flavors and the guy (probably owner) was giving attitude when explaining. We decided to order and order the kiddie or small. When we were about to pay he charged it as a meduim not a small. Unless he didn't understand us but if we can't order kiddie he should tell us before we order. We asked but he ignored us, so we paid and left cause we were not in the mood to argue. I hope he gave us meduims instead of smalls cause that would be rude. read more

I love, love this place! I yelped Shave ice in my area and got the info on Calli's. Wow!!! I was not disappointed. This place is a one stop shop! You can start your day with breakfast and end it with a dessert goodie. They offer various sizes of items. I wish I wouldn't have eaten before we got here so I could've gotten a XL shave ice. The people behind the counter were so gracious to my family and I. They made us feel at home, super friendly for it being the end of the day. The woman loved my two giant boys. I ordered the medium to share and it was a good amount, we tried mango, coconut, and blue vanilla and it was oh so tasty. This place is so damn good ! Shaved ice is amazing and authentic. Me and my wife love shaved ice and it's so hard to find a place that does it the right way. So many flavors to choose From. They also have ice cream sundaes, chamangos, donuts, ice coffee and more!! I'm going to hit this place up a couple times just to try everything! YES PLEASE and thank you to this amazing little spot!! I Will definitely be coming here again the quality of raspados and employees, was better than most. Paul, you sir made my night with that amazing Chamango and to top it off, I had a slice of home made blueberry cake, Man oh man was it good! Everyhing my family and I got we loved. If you are in the area or even 30 min. away and just wanna take a little drive, be sure to stop by this gem. Absolutely Amazing. Again thanks Paul and staff you have one happy customer!! At the very least, Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) is extremely fast. I arrived at Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) on Friday (around 8:46AM). The location appeared relatively clean but worn down. Furniture looked old; paint is faded & chipped; and floor is scuffed with black marks. Staff is professional and quick. I ordered the Aquarius Juice ($7.95 - 16oz). It arrived in literal seconds. Staff opened a cooler and grabbed a filled glass bottle. Fast. Staff also answered all my questions. Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) has customer internet with password. It also has a hidden restroom near the back. Also, if customers return the bottle, they receive 15 cents. The Aquarius Juice ($7.95 - 16oz) contains carrot juice, red apple juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice. It's a lot of chilled liquid. I also appreciated its eye-catching bright color. Unfortunately, I personally disliked this drink. The primary flavor was bitter apple and tangy orange. It mostly tasted like the bitterness from an apple's skin. In the background, I faintly tasted the carrot and pineapple juice. There were also several specks of black floating in my drink, but I think these black bits were grounded up seeds. Surprisingly, this drink actually made me more thirsty. I guzzled a bottle of water after my visit. Despite my dislike, the drink is not bad. It's functional and healthy. It's not tasty nor the freshest, but it's a lot of liquid in a pretty bottle. Regarding ambiance, Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) feels poorly maintained. Wall colors were chipping; furniture colors look faded; and furniture felt very worn down. Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) looks old. The location also played slow rap music, lacked electric wall sockets for customers, and had a few flies buzzing around from its open door. Thankfully, the location is relatively clean. Overall, Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) is forgettable but inoffensive. Its juices taste frugal, but its liquid portions are generous. If actively searching for a farmers market vibe, this might be your spot. 3.5 out of 5

I took a chance on the grapefruit was it was actually very refreshing and delicious. It provided the energy boost I needed on a hot day. This place can stand to do a little reorganization so that it would look cleaner and more organized however, this does not take anything away from the great customer service I received and a very well made and very good drink.

I was craving a wrap so why not come give em a try. The parking lot has plenty of spaces as it located on the long strip mall in this part of West Covina. The location is pretty chill and quiet outside of the TV playing soccer. The staff who took my order was friendly and allowed me to try sample some smoothies. I came there for the BLT wrap with avocado. My order was served within a few minutes. The staff offered jalapeños on the side as well and constantly checked in with me. I was happy with this wrap! The freshness of the veggies and the crunch from the bacon was perfect. One specific detail I'd have to mention was the cream cheese they use in the wrap. It elevated that wrap it to a new level and brought out all the flavors. I'd return again just for this item. Good customer overall with great food. Come by and try out C & R Fresh Foods! ( ^_^)b

Amazing and Delicious =)..I was driving around the area and had a sweet tooth. I was also thristy so I yelped smoothies and donuts nearby and " Cali's Just Chill" came up on the top. Customer service is exceptionally great with the staff greeting me with open arms. I got a Thai Boba Milk Tea, OMG, taste is SO GOOD and just the right amount of milk sweetener and tea combination. Much better than Quickly's I have to admit. The menu selection is out of your mind with Boba Milk drinks, Hawaiian Shave ice, Ice cream, Expresso, Smoothies, Chamango, Donuts, Breakfast sandwiches. On my way out still hungry got more..I couldn't resist and got the Chamango drinks with some donuts togo. The Chamango just blew me off very authentic and it brought me back to my travels in Mexico. The Donuts fullfill my sweet tooth craving the best I had. I would definitely come back here to explore more good drinks and become a regular. Going to try the Expresso in the morning to give my work day a fresh start. Quality and Service EXCELLENT. Highly recommend 5 stars read more

I've been going to this place even before the current owners took over honestly it was good before it's even better now every time I get the chance to go after fishing to get a vanilla milkshake and the occasional doughnut but that's not all they offer they have breakfast sandwiches great coffee and hot coco for you early birds or if if you like to share a little something sweet with that special someone you go and grab yourself a a banana split there's more that they offer their names just escape me right now and the owners are very friendly and nice don't take my word for it go stop by and check it out for yourselves! read more

Love this place been coming for about a year now and the shaved ice are really good and they have a variety of flavors.. you can also add ice cream. The donuts taste fresh all the time and when we get shaved ice to go they help us to the car and provide a box for as many we get.. The chamangos are delicious.. the staff is always very friendly and they are very nice to my kids.. There place is always clean and welcoming, the root beer floats are very very good.. my husband grew up all his life in this area so the staff knows us very well always good to us.. read more

I have been in search of a great coffee donut shop around me moving from Az to Cali and I found this awesome place. The owners and employees are great people they want to get to know you and enjoy talking to you unlike most places that just hurry you in and out. I get a blended coffee or iced coffee every time and there stuffed Croissant are the best I've ever had, so is there breakfast sandwiches. When I order one I always make sure I get my favorite donut to chocolate chocolate. read more

Best place in Irwindale. They have amazing donuts, ice cream, shaved ice, smoothies, iced/blended coffee drinks. Breakfast sandwiches and croissant sandwiches. Their ham n cheese and regular croissants are the bomb. They also have all the Mexican drinks and the boba drinks as well. Various tea and coffee selections. I go here all the time and the owners are fantastic. My favorite is the blended mocha which you can get with or w/o boba. GO HERE! You won't regret it. read more

This is seriously the only place I ever try to go to for donuts and frozen treats. Their Hawaiian shaved ice with vanilla ice cream at the bottom is the best. The portions/sizes are a great deal considering the prices. They always serve fresh donuts and they have so many options. On top of that, the environment is always clean, friendly, and welcoming. Their customer service is insanely amazing. Cali's Just Chill deserves way more than 5 stars! read more

Cali's just chill is definitely mine and my families hang out for good sweets. Their cream cheese cake is 2nd to none. Im not kidding they have hawaiian shaved ice my favorite and my kids enjoy the great taste of there doughnuts. People I recommend this spot to all of you you wont regret it. We're here about 3 to 4 times a week and if it were ul to my kids everyday. Also there customer service is great they make you feel at home everytime. read more

My go to place for ice cold drinks and shaved ice and donuts. I mean this place has it all. From great tasting food and drinks to service you'd recieve at a 5 star restaurant. I usually get there caramel Frappe. Once you have tried Cali's Just Chills Frappe, you wouldn't think twice about going to Starbucks. JUST GO TRY IT FOR YOURSELF. Fun little hole in the wall. A great variety of donuts along with a great tasting hot chocolate. Girlfriend has gone here for years and I can see why. I'd like to try their shaved ice next time I go. And if that doesn't convince you then the prices will. Very quiet and a great place to talk. There's limited seating though. But you can just hangout outside. read more
