I visited Nectar Juice Bar in Azusa today to get my usual breakfast bowl, and I had the worst experience I've ever had at any establishment. From the moment I walked in, I was met with hostility from an employee named "kaul" who claimed to be one of the owners. She didn't greet me or acknowledge me with a hello--instead, she immediately gave me an attitude, asking, 'What do you want?' in the rudest tone imaginable. As she prepared my order, her attitude only got worse. Not only did she make my bowl incorrectly, but when I politely questioned it, she accused me of lying--literally yelling that I was lying about what I ordered. I was shocked and embarrassed as she continued to scream at me and even threatened to kick me out, insisting that I wasn't welcome back and that she would tell everyone to keep me out. I am absolutely appalled by this behavior. It's unacceptable for someone working in customer service--let alone claiming to be an owner--to treat customers this way. I would never set foot in this place again, and I strongly suggest that the management look into this situation. No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect. The drinks at Nektar are great. This is not a review of the products, but more about the facility and the people. Businesses are a function of people, product, and place. The people who work in customer service were rude and don't belong in hospitality as has been stated multiple times in many other reviews. That left a sour taste in my mouth. The product was delicious as usual. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place does not have restrooms. The front door says "No Restrooms". There are restrooms, but they put "storage room" sign over the restroom sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is illegal in California. It was my first time trying Nekter and I ordered the Toxin Flush. The ginger was very strong, maybe even too strong that it was burning my throat a little. Other than the ginger, I did enjoy the taste but I do wish the red apple flavor was more prevalent since I do enjoy drinks on the sweeter side. I will admit that I did feel good after drinking it so its name lived up to its purpose. This visit I learned they are making/promoting a new product- their superfood oats! She gave me a sample while I was waiting for my drink to be made. It was warm steel cut oats with strawberries, blueberries, banana and cherries! It was the perfect post workout snack with my protein smoothie! (I always order the health nut- what can I say? A new location right across from CVS and next to Subway! Nekter has and always will be one of my favorite smoothie places. However, I don't remember the smoothies being that expensive previously? It is $7 for a small smoothie, $7.25 for a small juice and add $2 to each for a medium size. I got the Popeye's Acai and it was 5/5, super smooth and not too sweet - that cashew milk really pulls through.
