First time here. We got the family style mixed kabobs (2 chicken, 2 lula, 2 steak). Came with huge plate of yellow season rice, plate of house salad with chunks of tomatoes on top, 1 pound of hummus and box of roasted tomatoes and jalapenos, and a bag of 6 pitas. Also came with a hot sauce and the garlic butter spread which I can remember what it is called. Very Very good!! 1# was the steak kabob and chicken (equally delicious) and the lula (ground beef on skewer) was good too. FYI... the prices on the Yelp menu for the family style portions are their old prices from a year or two ago. So when I ordered for pick up I thought it was $29.99 when in fact the actual price was $36.99 (total $40.50 after tax). It was my fault because I didnt ask to confirm total and they didnt confirm what the total was over the phone. I took some picks of their current menu when I picked it up. ***BEWARE*** I have been here multiple times, I usually call my order in but today I walked in to order my food thank God!!! so that I was able to see how they were handling the food!!! Anyway... the woman who took my order said it would take 25 minutes for my food to be ready so I went to my car parked right in front to wait. As I'm sitting in my car watching the two women prepare my food they both begin to take their masks off and start eating food. Then one woman licks her fingers and proceeds to grab the containers that would contain my food. So I drew the line there and walked in and asked for a refund they claimed they couldn't give me a refund because the owner is not there. They said the food is safe that they don't have covid or else the owner wouldn't let them work, I let them know unfortunately I don't feel safe with the way that they are handling the food during these times of covid and regardless that is not acceptable behavior while handling food. I left without a refund and now have to dispute the charge with my bank. It's very disappointing because the food here is really good compared to the other Mediterranean restaurants out here. This situation completely grossed me out and made me feel so unsafe, I will not be back to support this small business. read more

I have had this restaurant on 3 separate occasions. First time I had it, i got the 3 combination plate mixed and i thought it tasted great! 2nd time i ate there i got the wraps, chicken shawarma and beef but prob wont get it again. 3rd time was same as the first but no special request and no napkins were included this time. I've had the wraps, the shawarma, tabouli but the best thing they have, by far, are the steak kabobs! If you live in the AV, do yourself a favor and swing by for a meal. This used to be one of my favorite food places, it's in the same plaza I work in so it was convenient and even my family loved it but i was on break and i ordered food and as I was almost done eating it I bit into a piece of glass in my rice! I couldn't believe it so of course I went back and I told the woman working and she just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders like she didn't know what to do so I asked for my money back, she gives it to me and as I'm walking back she comes outside and starts yelling at me that I just wanted the money back that my food was almost done, keep in mind it was almost done but I literally found a piece of glass, I just couldn't believe how they treat their customers when THEY messed up, i hope whatever glass mess they have they clean it up so it doesn't end up in others people food like mine, I will never take myself or my family to this business ever again, absolutely shit customer service, their employee came out yelling at me, I wasn't rude in any way and I was trying to keep it as calm as possible and I didn't want to make a big deal about it as for the owner calling me abusive that's laughable, your employee abused me, there could've been severe damage from the glass and you want to sweep it under the rug, might be good food but definitely horrible employees read more

The food is excellent and taste good but the owners are deceptive and dishonest. The food on the menu above the register at the restaurant has one price and when you get the receipt the charge is 5 to 11 dollars more than you expected. I questioned the lady who gave me the receipt and asked her why the charge was so much more and she told me that they raised the prices. I asked when will they have a new menu with the correct prices and she just shook her head. It's my humble opinion that they know what they are doing and don't have plan to be transparent with their prices. If you decide to go here just ask what they charge for each item you select. Otherwise, you're going to feel you are being overcharged. I won't be returning to Cali's Kabob I love good food but I love honesty even more. I believe the family that owns this restaurant to be dishonest and are determined to continue this foul practice despite what anyone says. They will always have an excuse. read more
