I used to love caliva. The bud tenders there were truly great. I kept ordering from them because i also like their shop. It's big, decorated nicely, they had a wide variety. I ordered ahead for pick up a couple of weeks ago. They confirmed it was ready. The line for pick up took me over an hour of waiting. The walk-in line was moving much quicker. Anyways so i finally get in and I'm told my order was cancelled, and they don't have some of the stuff i ordered anymore. (No email or anything telling me it was cancelled) so i had to order other stuff since I'd already waited so long i wasn't going to leave empty handed. Then, was told they no longer accept debit cards and i had to pay to use the ATM. i left frustrated and annoyed, told myself they have burned me too many times, I'm not going back. After over a year of going there I've just gotten tired of them. They're so pretentious about making people wait (in lines, delivery, whatever) The delivery is NEVERRRRRRR on time. And when it comes hours (or even days) after being promised, they try to make you feel guilty for complaining by talking about their essential workers and how they are "trying their best" (i doubt its the delivery drivers fault you guys are behind) They sent out an email today, apologizing for being so slow and messing up all the time these past two months. Offered a 20% discount on one item. So i ordered. Got an email saying to wait up to an hour for confirmation and to tell me a driver is on the way. That's great, no problem. An hour and a half later, no email. So i emailed them. No response. So i chat with them. Dude on chat tells me yeah sorry, it's the weekend we're busy on the weekend (it's Friday morning) there's 20 people ahead of me still. -_- why did you email me telling me to wait an hour ? I wouldn't have mind the longer delivery time, but don't make me wait around like that.... just cancel it... forget it.... too frustrating read more

Went back here today for the first time in probably 6 months. I was pretty surprised at how weird the vibe is now in that place, and not in a good way. There was no one outside in line, and in the past, this meant more or less that the place was dead. Handed my ID to the guard...he told me to get back in line (no one was in line). Someone came out, then I assumed, oh, ok, one out one in, right? I asked him, hey what's going on? Told me again to go to stand in an empty line. Finally, was let in, after demanding proof that I had a pickup order. The guy was rude. Then, checked in with a stone-faced, joyless employee. Inside, the place seemed disorganized...4 employees by the pickup area chatting around about 30 empty Caliva bags, 1 cashier with 10 people in line, and 10 people in the waiting room. I told the cashier who rang me up that the security guy was, well...you know. He just prattled off their policy about people being inside...I'm like, yeah, I already know that, but, ya see, he's being a jerk about it and this place is a circus man. He kinda shrugged. Well, that's all she wrote for me. Sad to see this place end up like this. Even during the pandemic, they kept things together big time, a great attitude. But what is this? Been ordering from Caliva for about a year and a half. Over that span it seems to have gotten worse. Particularly their app and delivery. Their app never seems to work properly and doesn't always display the right information for things like THC content or whether you're getting Indica or sativa. I also find eight out of 10 times the Flower I get is generally dry and seems a bit old. UuOne time it said I had ordered something completely different than what I had put in my basket. Ultimately not being able to use the random cartridge I received instead of my original order. But I guess the deciding factor for me not ordering from Caliva in the future would be the latest delivery that never actually got delivered. I'd say pass on this place for your delivery needs. read more

When you order online you get a message that states you will be contacted via email to schedule delivery. Being I'm recovering from multiple back surgery's and can't leave the house. I had my delivery all set up at 1030 am. It's now 945 pm and they still have not contacted me about my order.Do not do business with such a horrible company that doesn't care about there customers or there City. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY. FOR. DELIVERY. While the products are the same as everywhere else, their delivery service is really bad. Their drivers will park ANYWHERE (sidewalks, blocking traffic, they do not give AF) and while some of them are polite, most of them are NOT!!! We always tip 20% and have been asked "Is that it? Can't you throw a few more bucks in there?". In addition, they provide a 2 hour window and the last several times have come 2 hours AFTER the end of the window. In addition, there are A LOT of stems in their products, when removed have added up FREQUENTLY to several grams. The managers are rude and if you think the instant message will help...it doesn't. The security guy said that it needed to be scanned and as EVERYONE knows, scanning something from a phone is a no brainer. If it's good enough for an airport it should be good enough for a dispensary. I have been shopping here for a little over a year. It is fantastic, lots of variety to choose from and staff is very friendly. The big problem I face coming here is time wasted. The staff is very friendly, but overly friendly to the point where time and efficiency is wasted. If you see a line outside the building expect to be there for 45 to 60 minutes. This is mainly because many of the cashiers waste time by starting conversations with every single customer. Caliva manages to stretch a transaction that should only take 10 minutes max. Time is very important to me, if they open an express kiosk or express lane for people who know what they want and need, caliva would be a 5/5. They do offer curbside pick up and online order but I do not feel comfortable leaving any of my important information online. read more

Also they never tell you upfront that they don't accept credit card until you get into the main authorized store. They have their Own ATM which deducts a fee to get cash or you can use hyper app which has 1 star review on app store and also default to work with. DO NOT COME HERE! Disorganized long lines, ridiculously long wait. You will be told to wait in one line outside (even if it's a pickup order and notifying the security guard). You show your ID. When you make it to the front of the line, you get in and wait in another line, show your ID again, re-confirm all of the personal information you entered at checkout, then you sit and wait in the lobby. Customers seemed annoyed and someone mentioned, "it's always like this". I could hear a worker telling an online customer that shopping live would be faster than picking up his online order. When they finally call you in after waiting in the lobby, you wait in another line. Slow service. Not sure what the point is of ordering ahead when all you do is show ID multiple times within minutes and stand in lines. Go to Purple Lotus, no line, stuff is ready when they say it will be and you're in an out within minutes! Oh, and they actually answer their phones and answer questions, unlike this place that directs you to a chat with a bot, then another chat with a remote delivery branch and then ends the chat when they're trying to transfer you. This place had me like I was a Ganja farmer. Felt like I was going into a restaurant not picking up some Herb. From my first walk into the doors signing up on the kiosk and then being greeted at the front desk it was different. Image being in New York City and ur street dealer greets you so pleasantly and wants to indulge in a Conversation with you, not that I have ever brought weed on the streets in NYC which is totally illegal, shh. Then you enter after being buzzed in and your herb specialist pulls out jar after jar after jar. Your just smelling and reading and watching all these wonderfully grown specimens. Nicest store, friendly staff. Prompt delivery. The biggest fault I find with Caliva is the inaccurate THC potency on their listings. Yes I understand that the listings also states that "THC/CBD content is approximate, individual items may vary" But in my experience they are never under reported only over reported. On my most recent delivery the flower I purchased was listed as 33% THC, the product delivered was only 28%, 15% less than advertised. The second item (infused pre-rolls) were listed at 44% the delivered product only contained 38%, 14% less than advertised. As a long time consumer I base my purchases on strength. I find it extremely frustrating that the listing on Caliva's menu are often presented as being considerably stronger then they actually are. read more
