Nice bar spot with cheap, good eats. They have daily specials aren't really listed but it was $5 ceviche, $7 chicken club sandwich with tots, $5 for two fish tacos, $5 shots and $10 domestic pitchers. They also have an asada burrito for the special. The tots were really good and so was the club sandwich. Their chicken wings are also really good here.

This was my first time ever coming to this bar. It was a quiet night but our bartender Danny was great. He made us a custom drink based off what we indicated we liked. The drink was called Donkey Punch & it was amazing!! It tasted great and set the tone for the night. The music was great and so were the vibes. I will definitely be back! Thank you Danny for your great service & hospitality!

The bartenders are extremely rude, drunk, and will talk shit about the patrons in front of other staff and their friends

Food was surprisingly good, although they were out of tots. Service was great! Strange location and kind of grungy.

Just a casual dive bar. Nothing to special, but a decent place to grab a drink and hangout.

This place is super! I discovered Mt. Baldy Lodge only a few years ago, and I absolutely Love it…read more The food, the service and the ambiance are all fantastic. A rustic log cabin/mountain lodge feel and really welcoming staff really make up the make-up of this place, but the food is the real feature. In the last 5 years I have only ordered one thing here. I mostly have gone with a big group of people and from what I have seen and sampled, all of the food is damn good. But I am a big Biscuits and Gravy fan and this place totally gets it right. I order mine with an Over Medium Egg on top and a side of 2 Breakfast Sausages. The Biscuits are always fluffy, buttery and super tasty. The gravy is always thick and delicious. The Sausage is always plump and full of flavor, not your everyday Breakfast Sausage. The Egg adds this bit of richness that really compliments the dish. Excellent! If you're looking for a good spot for some great food (and drink), that is off of the beaten path, then this is the place to hit. In the trees, at the foot of Mt. Baldy, it is a great way to spend a beautiful SoCali day.

It was recommended to…read moreme years ago by several British friends, and every one of them told me the same thing: "It feels like home." That's about as authentic an endorsement as you can get, and after eating here many times, I couldn't agree more. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for in a traditional British pub. From the authentic décor to the warm, welcoming vibe, it really feels like you've stepped into a neighborhood pub somewhere in England. The food is consistently outstanding. My go-to favorites are the traditional British breakfast, bangers and mash, scampi and chips, and the steak and ale pie. Every dish is packed with flavor, hearty, and tastes like the real deal. Pair any of them with one of their excellent UK beers on tap, and you've got a fantastic meal. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. I've never had a disappointing experience here. Whether you're British and looking for a taste of home or just curious to experience authentic British pub food, The Olde Ship is absolutely worth the visit. It's one of those rare places that gets everything right. Highly recommended!

However, after our experience last weekend, I don't know if I'll be returning any time soon. We went to celebrate Father's Day and my birthday and we're seated quickly. While the restaurant wasn't terribly crowded, the service was awful. The blonde waitress with the British accent was very rude and yelled at my son's (15, 18, and 21) which they later said made then feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The service was very slow and we only had one water refill, despite asking repeatedly, in almost 3 hours. They were also out of multiple items including scotch eggs, sausage rolls, steak and ale pies, and sticky coffee pudding (they only had two). We never received our scotch eggs and sausage rolls and it wasn't until I asked about them after the entrees came that I was told they had run out. And we were never told that the beef wellington, which we ordered in place of the steak and ale pies that they had run out of, was almost $20 more than the steak and ale pies. Then, the bill came and the scotch eggs and sausage rolls were still on the bill, which I failed to notice at the time, so we had to return and ask for a credit for those two items. This was the worst experience we've had at this restaurant. We've had the blonde waitress before and she can be abrupt but this time, she crossed the line into being downright rude and we all felt unwelcome as a result. And to receive the treatment and have this many issues while celebrating special family events was disappointing. I'm not sure if and when I'll be back after the poor treatment we received which is a shame because I do love their food.

The restaurant is pretty huge but it gets super loud! The screens are always playing kpop groups with music playing and its always fun to watch. For food, I've tried a lot of their menu and everything is so good and shareable. The korean fried chicken is crispy, not dry, and seasoned so well! A favorite amongst the group was the beef intestine, which I've never had before and was pretty impressed by. It was super juicy and paired well with the scallions and sauce. Another favorite of the group was the corn cheese. It was like a pizza but corn cheese. My absolute tried and true is the pork belly. It is soo good, especially with the kimchi, peppers, and roasted garlic cloves. It definitely is my personal favorite on their menu! I can definitely see why this place is so popular!

They have a ridiculous policy that seems to switch from table to table. We wanted to order a pitcher of beer but since one person in our party wasn't 21 they wouldn't allow. Said policy was "everyone had to be 21". Ok perfect makes sense. BUT THEN!! a table next to us sat down and had about 6 soju bottles and SHOCKER they had kids at their table, but I thought the policy was that everyone had to be 21??? We asked about it and then they said it's because we might distribute it to our friend, yea no. They literally told us "becuase we were all around the same age they couldn't". We were not. And how do they know the parents wouldn't give alcohol to their kids? Are they just deciding when this so called "policy" takes effect? Ruined our entire night, we came just to watch the game and have a beer. Would not return.
