Actually glad that I trued Poppy's. It is located with the Anaheim Hilton and we made the decision to stop by since we were staying at the hotel We kept it simple and went with salad and appetizers All good. Nothing spectacular bit I felt all were fresh and prepared well I must provide shout out however to the sidewinder fries. They were spectacular. Good flavor well seasoned and quite tasty. Order these!!

Went to a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center and all of the food trucks outside had super long lines, so we decided to check out the Anaheim Hilton to see if they had a restaurant we could eat at. We stumbled on Poppy's, and there wasn't a wait, so we decided to eat here. We were seated immediately! My friend and I decided to split the Baja Fish Tacos and the Grilled Lump Crab Cakes. The Baja Fish Tacos comes with two tacos. It has grilled mahi-mahi, house spice rub, chipotle crema, green cabbage, pico de gallo, and salsa. Our served asked if we wanted the mild or spicy salsa but warned us that the spicy salsa is very spicy. We ended up getting both, and she was right! The spicy one packed a ton of heat. Glad she let us know! The taste of the tacos themselves were not bad, but the price at $24 is a bit steep for only two tacos. No sides are included. The Grilled Lump Crab Cake comes with two crab cakes with spicy remoulade and a side of fennel, frisee, and pomegranate salad with balsamic reduction. The crab cakes were good and had a decent amount of crab. I also enjoyed having the side salad to go with it. The pomegranate seeds were a nice touch! Overall, it was nice to have a sit down option with nicer food than the convention center or food trucks. Prices are on the high side for what you get, but the convenience of the proximity to the convention center makes it more worth it.

Yep!! We are back again!! This time instead of their breakfast buffet, we ordered from menu. It's great to know that even when we were here a few weeks ago, service continues to be great, we had Tanya for our server today. She was kind to also ask if we like to have our coffee to go, so we said "Yes", and she even gave 2 different shades of blue on the to go cups, so we know whose cup belongs to who. To me, it's the little things they do that makes it special. And today's Disney characters that made an appearance are Elsa and Anna. Both are very friendly and making balloon characters for kids and adults if you're interested. Just a fun vibrant place. Oh and for breakfast I ordered their Chilaquiles and my hubby ordered their Big Egg Sando, portions were decent.

They have an amazing brunch buffet, everything so fresh and tastes delicious. The mimosas are even better!!

Pretty good for being hotel food and keeping us full after an all day dance competition. The service was mid and could be better. I called the waiter out for insinuating I was taking a long time (which I was) but didn't enjoy being bothered about it. Then they made up for it by being attentive and kind. Food was decent, some great and some of it can't tell if we were just starving, but we left full. It did its job while at dance all day but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here otherwise, if that makes sense. The potatoes fries were really good tho!

Entryway into Poppy's Restaurant had vases of beautiful silk poppies. Then, our Waiters Olesea G. & Jesus L. gave exemplary customer service! The food & coffee were fresh. Ambience and cleanliness of this restaurant superb! 20 Star experience!

I was staying at Hilton Anaheim for a convention and had the pleasure of dining at Calla's Kitchen for dinner. I was too exhausted to leave the hotel. Honestly, I did not have high expectations, since most hotel restaurants tend to be mediocre, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the attentive service and food quality. Service was excellent with great timing between courses. My appetizer was the lettuce rolls with poke tuna. The poke was fresh, plentiful, and presented nicely. The sauce on the rolls was delicious. I would order again. My entree was the pan seared salmon with a lemon sauce, served over a mix of farro, edamame, corn, and garlic, with roasted brocollini. This was delicious and packed with protein. I would order this again as well. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake to enjoy later and it did not disappoint. I forgot to take a photo. It was beautifully presented and was not too sweet. Overall, my experience was excellent and I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast next time.

    delicious starter!!

I paid $17.54 for a biscuit with egg, cheese, turkey sausage, and a black iced coffee. The biscuit was decent, but fairly small, and nothing about the sandwich felt premium enough to justify the price. The turkey sausage tasted like a standard pre-made sausage, and if there was a significant upcharge for choosing turkey, it didn't feel warranted. The coffee was fine. It was a basic black iced coffee, good enough, but not something that stood out or justified a premium price. My biggest issue is the value. Nearly $18 for a simple breakfast sandwich and a plain black iced coffee feels excessive for what was served. I've also noticed that the total seems to vary from visit to visit, making it difficult to know what to expect when ordering. I genuinely like the people who work here and wish them success. This review isn't about the staff. For me, it's simply a matter of price versus value, and I can no longer justify spending this much for a basic breakfast and coffee. We came here early for breakfast on a Sunday and walked right in. The coffee is pretty good, the menu is southern feeling and they have a nice variety of sweet and savory. Omelettes, pancakes and hashes for the most part. Service was good, attentive staff in a nice clean restaurant with plenty of room for groups. They also have a variety of cocktails for breakfast if you're into that sort of thing. I went pretty basic because I'm not much of a breakfast person pancakes and ham with scrambled eggs. The portions are on the larger side which is good value and the hashes are really rich but really good! It's too bad we were heading to Disney or we would have taken our leftovers! You can get your parking validated so park in the structure and come hungry! Bonus tip they do have a deal where you can park here for less than Disney and walk over.

Huckleberry's is known for their southern charm and cuisine, mainly in the form of breakfast and lunch. Once I saw the breakfast burrito on the menu, I knew what I was going to pick up! I did not expect the breakfast burrito to be the "wet style," and I should have been more assiduous in my perusal of the menu. Expect to use a knife and fork for consumption! Was it good, though? It was decent in flavour, but it was filling for my belly's capacity. It came with two small containers of salsa, which were very much needed and appreciated. However, generally speaking, this menu item was unremarkable, so much so that I cannot recall any further details about it. Huckleberry's seems like a pretty good spot for grub, and the staff was very friendly. I was a bit disappointed in the price of this burrito for not being as tasty as I had hoped. Yet, I am glad that it was large enough to stave off the hunger for a few hours. This location is located at Garden Walk, which will also allow you the opportunity to do some shopping for engage in other forms of entertainment!

Parking can be difficult so you might have to circle a few times. Or just park in the neighborhood and take a short walk back. Our group used Yelp's waitlist and when we arrived we only waited 5 mins for our table. To say this place was packed is an understatement, so the service took a bit longer than Im used to. Youre not going to find anything underwhelming here, because they offer some good old country style breakfast options. Think steak and eggs, country fried steak smothered gravy, omelets and a 3 tier stack of pancakes. Protip: this place is small, so if you have a large group it might be a bit cozy. Also, the womans restroom only has two stalls and one sink, so the line can be a bit of a wait.

Sometimes you have to put in real work to cut pancakes with a fork and knife, but these ones were an ideal consistency. I loved the skillet as well: flavorful beef, savory eggs, and my server even suggested adding cheese. Speaking of my server-- Ray Y was absolutely seamless. My coffee cup was always full, he brought me extra cups of milk instead of me having to bug him for it, he brought extra napkins without me needing to ask, and he kept me up to date on how my food was coming along. I also enjoyed the wooden pillars in the center of the restaurant, it added a nice touch. Anyway, I had a great time. I'm not in Anaheim often, but now I have another reason to drop by.
