I've been hearing about this place for a while, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. When I think food hall, I think a big building with multiple stalls selling different types of cuisine. This is a smallish room that's more like a ghost kitchen where they make different cuisines all in one place. It was a little underwhelming and disappointing for me. That being said, the food was really good! It was hard to decide because there are so many choices, but I went with the Greek Mix salad. My other peeve with this place is that they automatically put my food in a plastic to-go container instead of a real dish. I did not ask for it to go. But the food was tasty. Chicken was tender. The chickpeas were crispy. Lots of yummy flavors. But I didn't like having to eat it out of plastic. The other thing that saved this place besides the food quality was the service. I was greeted, brought some ice water and utensils. The man who was there was very nice. And the place was clean at least. As a whole, the concept is cool that you can order from like 7 different cuisines off a kiosk. Introverts dream. But I wish they did more with the decor. I wish it was more of an experience. But it is attached to a hotel so it's kind of corporate-boring. Plenty of outdoor seating, which is a little nicer! They're absolutely in the realm of fast food but 3-4x the price. You should not be making burgers and charging extra for "smashed" versions that don't even meet the definition of smashed! This is a Wendy's kids burger marked up to 14 dollars. Outrageous. Fries aren't crispy enough. The flatbread is dull and over cheesed to make up for the cheap flavorless dough. Definite props for convenience and access to a small variety of goods in different cuisines. You order at kiosk/ipads upon entering and then wait for your number to be called to pick up food. There are a variety of cuisines though my friend and I wandered in because we really wanted some salads. He got a full entree salad from one of the menus whereas I actually just opted for a coleslaw side salad that sounded tasty. The portion was great and the taste was good for $4; crunchy veggies are all I wanted in the moment. My friend ordered a mexican salad of sorts and asked for extra dressing on it -- he said it was odd because there was just a pile of guacamole in the middle of it that had not been in the description. And additionally, there didn't seem to be any extra dressing. Strange to say the least but he said it tasty pretty good. I wouldn't call this a traditional food hall but almost like a ghost kitchen with multiple cuisines that you can order from/take out. There are tables in this spot if you want to eat your food there. So basically there are different "restaurant" menus you can choose from and the kitchen basically heats up/makes the food you order. I opted for a greek salad. F O O D I ordered a greek salad without any onions and dressing on the side. It was quite sizeable and could've fed maybe 1-2 people depending on hunger. I finished it all! I was quite hungry. It was perfect for what I was looking for that night. S E R V I C E The person there was quite lovely. He gave me a card for future ordering as well as offered me water as I waited for my food. I opted to take my food to go. I easily paid for my order at the kiosk. There are a couple of huge touch screens where ppl can place their orders from. Once paid, we waited for our food which didn't take long at all. Seems there was one kitchen which ran efficiently. The dining area was air conditioned, clean, and not crowded at all (this was around lunch time, and we were the only ones there). The food was plenty. It's not one of those places where you get a Greek salad with chicken for $15 and stuck with 90% salad. This place packed on a lot of chicken and crispy garbanzo beans. I thought it was worth it. My friend and daughter ordered the chow mein with meat, and they put a lot of meat and veggies in there too. Even if they ranged from $17-21, they didn't skimp at all! We liked the garlic noodles. A very solid choice surrounded by overpriced eating options. We were looking for an affordable spot to have dinner and oh boy... this was it! You can self-order using electronic displays and the wait is just 15 minutes. You can choose between several categories of foods, from Chinese to burgers, from salads to pizza, from Mexican to Mediterranean. Ordering is actually half the fun, with a picture displaying each plate. I had the orange chicken (pretty good) and tasted a salad with avocado and chicken (also good). The place is inside the Desert Palms Hotel & Suites, and has only about 32 seats outside and 21 seats inside, but it's more a take out spot, so it's rarely crowded. We had a great time eating at a table outside in the shaded breeze. They have big screen TV inside to entertain kids while you wait and restrooms are available inside the lobby for customers (you can ask for the key at the counter of the food hall). There are a couple of burger options a fried chicken option a Chinese food option a salad option and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. We as a family ate there and we split the chicken finger plate, the lettuce wraps, orange chicken and some garlic noodles. The food was all similar to what you would expect to find at an amusement park, which makes sense given its location. Everything was reasonably fresh, but just Sysco food; no creativity here. Turns out the Residence Inn Anaheim/Convention Center uses this food hall for room service. I was expecting a mediocre, pasty room service burger but got a smashburger that favorably resembles Shake Shack. 3.5 stars so rounding up to 4 If you're looking for a place thats open after a day at Disney that's close and you can't decide what to eat, this is a solid choice. I really wanted this to be an absolute hit because I normally love food halls but I'm saying this place is just ok. I will preface this with I only tried food from Rice, Meet Noodles and can't give any insight to any other places in Oasis Food Hall. My fiancé and I couldn't decide on what to eat and found this place located in the Desert Palms hotel. We ended up sharing orders of the garlic noodles with steak and the orange chicken. So the orange chicken actually was good. It felt like it leaned more sweet/sour chicken instead of orange but there was a crisp to the chicken that wasn't typical and I really liked it. However, there was a bit too much sauce that soaked the rice disproportionately. The garlic noodles with steak was more of a miss for me. Maybe I had different expectations, since I've had garlic noodles from other places that I loved and this one just fell flat. The ramen noodles felt over cooked, the garlic flavor wasn't that strong, and the steak seemed aggressively seasoned with pepper. I will say that the staff are super friendly! We were checked in on multiple times while we were there and when they had brought our food out, the guy was kind to go back and bring us waters (3 cups because he said that the cups seemed too small to just give us two). Also, I love the ordering system where you just do it off you phone( it's so easy!) and they even give you an option to order with a group. Would I go here again? I'd definitely give it another shot, but with a different vendor. I think the food quality of Rice, Meet Noodles didn't match the price point of the meal so I'd go ahead and try something else. There is a good amount of vendors/menus up on their wall but they weren't all available when we went around 8 pm on a Monday so be advised that not everything is available at all hours. It's a great option for families or groups who can't decide on a cuisine and want something quick. We got our food within 15 minutes of ordering. I got the Mediterranean steak pita which was filled with a good amount of meat, feta, cooked bell peppers, red onion and more! The fries were well salted and cooked perfectly.
