I understand that my dog can be hard to groom, but never has he been sent home with uncut/sharp nails, choppy haircut, and BLOOD in his ears and arms!! As a profession, one should be able to handle any animal they come across. I had an iffy feeling the moment I dropped him off and I should've listened to my gut. Charged extra AND I still left a tip. Before we tried other places and they would shave him down and I constantly worried about permanent damage to his undercoat (he's a pom mix) but here it's obvious they knew exactly how to cut him. It has taken me years to take my kitties to a groomer to be shaved because I was worried about the trauma it might cause them. But it wouldn't have taken years if I had known about this place earlier. Lamar was extremely gentle with my (once feral) kitty and he did an amazing job! Purrfect shave!! And he even let me stay and help hold her. He is just really good with cats in general. The rest of his staff was super friendly, and they do all grooming out in front; no behind-closed-doors-grooming. And Lamar makes sure when he's doing the kitties that any barking dogs are put in the back while the cat is there. Very contientious of what's going on at all times. I heard about Calling All Paws from someone I met that takes her bunny to them. I figured if they were good with bunnies they probably would be good with kitties. My family members have been reoccurring customers with only great things to say! So I was eager to be a customer now having a dog of my own. After about 3 hours of waiting for my pup to be finished I went to pick him up. After paying and receiving my dog he was missing his harness, collar, and leash. He offered to buy me a new leash since he mistakenly gave another customer all of my dog's accessories. The store next door did not have a leash I was interested so I went back and asked for my dogs things he called the customer that took everything including his collar with his name and my phone number. He blamed that the customer he gave my things to didn't speak English well so it was a mistake. However even if you speak another language you know what does and does not belong to you. After waiting around in the groomers for about 30 minutes the customer finally came with just my leash and harness. He then argued that he didn't have time to go back and get the collar. At this point I was pretty heated that i drove 45 minutes across town to come to this amazing groomer that didnt even keep up with my dogs accessories. After a total of an hour waiting the customer returned with my collar and the owner tried to pay him $10 for the inconvenience but did nothing to help me even though I waited for hours due to his mistakes. Overall I will not be going back I did not feel cared for or important maybe because I'm young ? My time and money is just as valuable I was extremely disappointed with the customer service but at least my dog got a good haircut. read more

I just moved to a new part of Vegas and was looking for a new groomer for my dog. Last minute, and when I called Lamar was very friendly and gave good directions to his business. I like that I was greeted the minute I walked through the door. He took the time to get to introduce himself to my Lucky and even noticed his birthmark which nobody does!! Based on observation alone he already knew how I prefer Lucky to be cut. When I picked him up this was the first time EVER Lucky wasn't trying to bolt for the door to leave.
