The furniture is outdated, the pillows have lumps, and I could hear everybody and their mamas conversations. When my husband went to check in they asked him weird questions like "Are you married?" Or "is your wife here" when he responded yes. Saying they wanted feedback for further hotels with pools. Trying to get him in for a free breakfast (probably for a timeshare.) Room has a fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket, two beds, two sinks, shower with tub, two tables, tv, lights, and closet. There is a balcony with a table and two chairs as well. Out in the hall you have the ice maker, microwave, and vending machine. Overall, not bitter but not worth the price we paid.

Julie Dillenbeck was incredibly accommodating, patient, and kind. She met us with calm reassurance and made what could have been an overwhelming situation feel manageable and positive. The following day, she and several other instructors remembered my daughter and made a genuine effort to help her feel comfortable and encouraged. That level of attention and care does not go unnoticed. Kindness truly matters, especially when little ones are trying something new and parents are holding their breath. We are so grateful for the experience they created for our family.

When you have a toddler that loves the water, you HAVE to take them to great wolf lodge! We've been…read morehere twice now in the last year. The first time was just a day pass in the afternoon which is a great deal if you don't want to stay the night. And most recently we stayed the night and had a great time! We booked the kid cabin suite which can accommodate up to 7 people but I think realistically and comfortably, it would be 5. It comes with balcony access, a pull out sofa bed, a queen size bed, a bunk bed, a full size bed and one bathroom. The room is fairly spacious but could use either a bigger table and or an addition half bath at least to accommodate up to 7 people. This was great for us as we had 4 adults and one toddler. There are quite a few attractions here besides the water park. They have a pretty extensive arcade, glow in the dark putt, bowling, story time for kids, ropes course, laser tag and multiple restaurants! Obviously their main attraction is their huge indoor water park! They have things for babies to adults to try here! But I would say their main water attractions are geared more for small babies to middle schoolers. There are multiple water slides for all ages and there's a HUGE bucket of water that dumps about 1,000 gallons of water every 5 mins! Pretty cool! We added on the breakfast buffet for which I would highly recommend. This isn't your typical hotel breakfast! Their offerings were pretty vast and even included a MTO omelette station! If you want to entertain your kiddos, look no further than great wolf lodge for all your entertainment needs! SN: everyone gets a wristband to wear which grants you access to the water park BUT you can also use it to charge purchases to the room AND serves as you room key! Pretty cool!!

My sheets had dirt or sand on them. The "crafts" for kids, is crayons and a coloring page each time. Everything is so expensive here, that it reminds me of Vegas hotels. A single candy bar was 8.00. The buffet was actually pretty good but the restaurants are awful. Every attraction is designed so it is cost prohibitive unless you spend a ton on unlimited passes. I paid 24.00 to pay one fast round if laser tag with my 2 kids and myself. I called to ask for trash pickup and towels and ai said someone would be up "immediately." An hour later and no one came. I searched the internet for the front desk number (there is no lodge info at all in the rooms) and got voicemail so I left a message. Still waiting to see if they're going to come. Parking is somehow 20.00 a day. We have a handicap placard and there were very, very few handicap spots, we never got one and ended up having to park on the opposite end of the lodge every time, with an Autisic kiddo at risk elopement. The noise. Yes, it's for families. Kids are loud. But, who are these purely that are letting their kids run up and down the hall screaming every night. It's not just the kids, the adults are busy yelling at the kids to slow down. I've gotten so little sleep because it's so loud all the time. I will not be back. It cost my family of 6 far less to rent a 6 bed 4 bath oceanfront house in NC. Oh, and something I saw mentioned a lot- one of our adjoining rooms wasn't ready when we arrived. We arrived at about 4:15 and check in was at 4. It wasn't ready until 5. Not a huge deal for us if everything else had been cool, but it's just another thing in the list I saw mentioned a lot. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because 1. The staff that I encountered was nice. 2. It's nice to find a place big enough for all of us. 3. The kids like the water park- it's a good size, but not big enough to justify the price.

The beer The views The food The music The vibes We haven't been here in sometime but I'm so glad they're still giving five star service. We were looking a little lost coming in, but David grabbed us up and said "I can help you over here". From there it was love at first SIP! He has us at FREE SAMPLE ciders. David took us through the offerings, educating us along the way. He mentioned what ciders are the most flavorful and why. He hung with our curiosity, eagerness to drink and indecisiveness at the same time. Customer service is crucial to a pleasant experience. I can only hope the rest of the staff are as easy going and likes their job as much as he does. Now for the cider. GET THE FLIGHT! Sample and fall in love with options instead of one. We settled on: Pineapple Imperial Berry Summer Slice Paradise Orchard Imperial orange Vat #1 (champagne cider) Imperial All amazing and refreshing selections. Paradise orchard is my new fave. Let's get into this food. We ordered: Tacos w/ house chips Chicken Nachos Cajun Honey wings & fries All great and very fresh made to order, so good, good flavors. My fave were the wings and the house chips. Only notes is out more sauce and seasoning on the wings, I felt like BR was teasing me with a good time. I needed more! Same with the nachos so good. The chips were fresh, but I need more cheese throughout the chips. Chicken was on point. Everything was super super fresh so good. House chips is a huge staple love them. Keep doing them maybe add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if you are reading this and you're debating about coming here get the house chips get a flight get it all. Our total bill $75, but omg we sampled sooo much! Love this place... BR give David a raise!

Yes, we have read the mixed reviews…read more Our experience: A visit to Williamsburg following an Interval International search will reveal eight very nice properties (http://www.intervalworld.com/web/cs?a=1502&areaCode=232.) All properties are cited as "premium" or "select" properties. It may be difficult to make a selection that is less than congenial for your visit. Williamsburg like Orlando seems to have overdeveloped the timeshare market, and the odds of an exchange are excellent. We enjoy the sweltering Southern summers at the beach with an air-conditioned condo, but June, July, August, and September may not be the best months to enjoy the historical museum of Williamsburg. King's Creek Plantation is located one mile from I-64, and is very easy to locate. King's Creek Plantation is a development of modern "colonial homes" with all the comforts of the 21st century. King's Creek Plantation has taken care to replicate the smaller homes of Colonial Williamsburg with fire places, several porches, in-unit washers and dryers. Using OnStar GPS, all Williamsburg attractions are minutes away. The reception area is in extreme need of professional training. Check-in is efficient; however, the girls seem to be trained NOT to answer questions. Our check-in girl professed total ignorance of the WI-FI system and was "Hell-bent" on dismissing us to the "sales counter." The sales girls are equally unhelpful, and pushed a set of materials, and replied the materials held all of our answers. The purpose of the sales counter was to schedule a 9:30AM Sunday Tour, which has been set by "Sharon," the telemarketer. Sharon refused to return our call the previous day. In addition, a second sales girl was screeching instructions to a second set of guests, and her screeching is very annoying. We were told there were few available time slots, "and these slots" were rapidly filing. The experience is a huge turn off, and while saying NO, we were nagged to accept a sales presentation. Note to King's Creek Plantation: Knock off this annoying behavior. We own 12 weeks of timeshare, and trading into Williamsburg is very easy. Our holiday time is much to valuable to include a "sales pitch!" We own five Marriott weeks, and are fans of Westin and Hyatt. King's Creek Plantation offers very similar quality to all three of these properties, and King's Creek Plantation cottages are extremely pleasant. Actually, a professional decorator given a minimum budget might work wonders with this property. King's Creek Plantation cottages may be larger than the Marriott, Westin and Hyatt properties. King's Creek Plantation cottages are nicely decorated, and insist of a three-bedroom cottage. The three-bedroom cottage offers two decks, and a front porch. In addition the lockoff unit really is a nicely equipped condo with a full kitchen and independent A/C. The lockoff also has a built in washer and dryer as does the master condo. Once one survives the "crudeness" of the check-in experience, expect to enjoy a first rate Williamsburg Holiday. We recommend highly the King's Creek Plantation cottages. We have often visited during the Christmas season, and find the Colonial exterior and interior home decorations to be inspirational. We have adopted several of these colonial decorations for our own home. The December temperature is around 50 degrees and sometimes reaches 60 degrees. The Internet provides several sites for Williamsburg, and the site to visit is http://www.history.org/. The town of Williamsburg provides several period dressed docents, but will not often have as many period docents as featured on this website. Remember, Williamsburg is not another trip to the "mouse." I remind readers of this because several docents repeat the question from unprepared tourists, "where are the rides?" While the development of Williamsburg is due to an endowment from John D. Rockefeller Jr. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_Williamsburg#Dr._Goodwin_and_the_Rockefellers) and others, operating expenses are dependent upon ticket sales. Visit the following site to learn more about ticket purchase: http://www.history.org/visit/planYourVisit/ticketPlans/#capital. Yes, a family may wander the streets of Williamsburg at no fee, but an education will come at a relatively small price. Visit http://www.colonialwilliamsburgresort.com/dining

We drove 12 hours up from Florida and arrived in early evening. The cabin looked nicely appointed inside. After bringing in all our luggage and supplies we showered and went to bed. The shower was disappointing as it kept changing from cold to warm. Not pleasant when it's cold outside and you're looking forward to a warm shower. After we went to bed we were forced to listen to the air conditioning/heat pump compressor secured to outside the house not 2 feet from your head laying in bed. The bedroom had no heat other than a noisy space heater that we also had to listen to. We decided to try sleeping in the sofa sleeper in the living room the next night. Upon pulling out the sleeper we seen a good amount of mouse excrement on the mattress. So that ended that idea. I went the next day to speak with the front desk, and they offered to change our cabin. I said that really was not an option for us due to all the work and inconvenience loading the car back up and unloading at a new location. Our time there was very tight with plans, and we're 74 years old, not up for the physical effort to do that. We were told I would get a phone call from management the next day. I didn't get a call the next day. We left the following day and stopped by the front desk again and were told they would call later in the day. I did finally get a call on our way home, and they wanted to know what we would be ok with. I said some financial recompense would be good. They said no they could not do that, but later said they would comp us a day rent the next time we visited. No thank you. Not very good customer service if you ask me.

We've been…read moretimeshare owners here at Woodstone for 25 years, and we decided to utilize our home unit rather than trading through RCI this year. This review is specifically about our check-in experience as well as the unit we stayed in. I will review our other activities at the resort separately. Check-in. There have been HUGE improvements to the check-in processes since our last visit in 2023. There are now SELF check-in kiosks. You respond to the necessary identification prompts and, when finished, a staff member comes over with an information packet and room keys. You still need to go to another desk to pick up your parking pass, where you are encouraged to attend an "owners update", AKA a timeshare presentation. Although we had promised each other that we would resist any and all encouragement to attend an update, we were quickly persuaded when we heard that the incentive would be a generous $300 in Massanutten's Mad Money (to be used on-site for activities, restaurants, or shops) or a $150 Visa card to be used anywhere. *Pet-peeve: Massanutten charged a "resort fee" of $74.90 for our 7-night stay in a 2-bedroom unit, which is on top of the maintenance fees that we already pay annually. Not sure of what this is for as most activities also have individual fees associated with them. Unit: we were assigned Woodstone unit Y9, which we absolutely loved. It's a two-bedroom downstairs unit in a townhouse that sleeps 6 (with a pull-out couch in the living room). It's an end unit that has an outside porch with small table and chairs overlooking the pond. We were entertained daily by the geese on the pond, as well as an occasional family of deer passing by our unit. Massanutten Mountain is a 10-15 minute drive up the mountain, and there are fabulous views of the mountains and the rolling green hills of the golf course. The unit itself was seemingly recently updated and clean, and had most of what we needed. It had a full kitchen, with full-sized refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven combo, microwave, dishes, cups, pots/pans, plastic storage containers, etc. Importantly, there was sufficient shelf space to fit our groceries! There were also starter packs of coffee/tea, and dishwashing and laundry detergents. *Hint. If you're going to be doing any cutting, you might want to bring a large, sharp knife. While the unit had knives, I had difficulty cutting a butternut squash because the largest knife was dull. Also, bring along your own cups if your preference is for LARGE cups of coffee or tea. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, and had a table that seats six. Placemats are provided. The living room was comfortable, with sofas, side tables, and a bureau. A television is above the gas fireplace (which we couldn't get to work. Perhaps it wasn't turned on yet for the season). The master bedroom had a huge king-sized bed with a comfortable mattress, dresser, side tables, work-table, large closet, and television. Our only complaint was that the pillows weren't comfortable as they were soft and lumpy. The master bath had a large whirlpool bath with six jets; dual sinks; a toilet with closed door; towels and wash cloths; hair dryer: and a packet of toiletries. The second bedroom had two twin beds, and an adjacent small bathroom (including shower). The unit also had an ironing board and iron. The thermostat allowed you to regulate the temperature in your own unit; extra blankets were in the closet. The entrance foyer is shared with the upstairs unit, and has a shared laundry unit with washer and dryer (free). The upstairs unit (stairs only; no elevator) was occupied for only two nights, and we could hear their child running back and forth but the sounds were quite muffled and didn't disturb us. Nights were quiet. There was a short wooden walkway leading from the (free) parking area directly outside of our unit. We noticed that one of the wooden slats was broken, but forgot to report it. However, a day later, we were impressed to find that the slat had been replaced. This unit is close to the park area with playground, shuffleboard and corn hole games, and tennis/pickleball courts.

I didn't have a chance to visit the other rec center but from talking to employees, it sounds like this one is better for kids because the pool is designed for play, not lap swimming, is warmer (88 degrees!), and most of it is shallow enough for kids to stand. There's also locker rooms for changing/storing stuff, and they do provide towels when you go to the pool area. If you're doing a timeshare presentation (and not an owner already), this is also where you will come to do your timeshare presentation. And it's just across the parking lot from a small convenience store if you want to pick up a few items like milk so it really is a central gathering place.
