It added plenty of flavor without overpowering the chicken, so you could still taste the quality of the meat. It was a great balance. I also ordered the 3 piece tender meal with no spice for my child. Unfortunately, she said it was too spicy for her to eat, so I would recommend they pay closer attention to orders requesting no spice. The signature Chuck's sauce that came with the meal tasted like a combination of barbecue sauce and honey mustard. It was actually pretty good and surprised me. I was a little disappointed that they don't offer regular honey mustard or barbecue sauce as separate dipping sauce options. I also ordered honey as a dipping sauce for both meals, but I only received one small packet of honey for all eight chicken tenders. One packet simply isn't enough for that much chicken. This location is next to Cecil Whittaker's, and both restaurants share the same front counter employee, although each has its own pickup window. There is no indoor seating, so this location is pickup and delivery only. Overall, I really enjoyed the chicken and would definitely order it again. Next time, though, I'll double-check that I receive enough honey and that a "no spice" order truly comes with no spice.

The batter is nice and the mild is just enough for me! Just a little bit of spice. Big pieces of chicken and I'm forever thankful. There's no inside for customers. You either come up to the window and order, call in, or order online. Then there's a separate window to pick up. The person at the window was very nice! Cannot wait to come back and take it up a notch.

They have doors to get through and lots of seating inside. We ordered at the counter, got out table number, and got the high chair for our toddler. The order came out quickly and I got some condiments (hoisin and sriracha) at the service counter. We ordered beef pho and shrimp lo mein, along thai iced tea and matcha milk tea. The drinks were okay! I could barely taste any matcha and it was very milk forward. I think the thai had a better flavor so I would opt for that next time. But food wise, absolutely loved the pho and that it came with fresh mint, bean sprout, and jalapeno. I also loved the broth! My husband's shrimp lo mein was also very good, but he had a lot of carrots in his lol My toddler loves noodles, so he liked both of our meals. Great spot for quick pho!

I found this restaurant while looking around on DoorDash and decided to drive down and try it in…read moreperson. It was less than five minutes from my house, and what really caught my attention was the strawberry fried whatever it was that I saw on the their emails website . It looked so good that I decided I wanted to go there, have dinner, and then get that for dessert. Since I don't eat much dairy, there honestly wasn't a whole lot on the menu that I felt comfortable ordering. I decided to get the birria because I've had birria at other Mexican restaurants in the past, and it was usually mostly meat without a lot of cheese. That was definitely not the case here. These were mostly cheese filled with just a little bit of meat in the middle. The sauce was good, though, and overall the food was okay. One thing I noticed was that I wasn't initially given any chips and salsa. I didn't say anything because I assumed maybe they just didn't offer them. After my meal came out, though, the waiter noticed that I hadn't received any and brought them to me. I appreciated that he noticed without me having to ask. Still, it was interesting because I couldn't help but wonder if being there alone had anything to do with it. Dining alone can sometimes feel like you get overlooked compared to people sitting at a table with several other people. I can't say for certain that's what happened here, but it did cross my mind. The service itself was actually good. The guy checked on me several times, although he did seem a little annoyed at times. I couldn't tell if he was annoyed with me or if something else was going on, so I don't want to assume, but I definitely noticed it. The restaurant itself is big, spacious, and would be a great place to go with a large group. If you want to make sure you get the best service, I would probably recommend sitting at the bar. Since this was my first time there, I didn't know that going in. One of the customers sitting outside actually told me that this was going to be the best Mexican food I had ever had. I'm not sure I would go that far, but I also have to be fair because I'm not really a huge Mexican food fan to begin with. I do love refried beans, though, so I ordered a side of them. I was surprised when they came out red because I've always thought of refried beans as being brown. They also weren't really my favorite, but again, I'm probably not the best person to judge Mexican food because Mexican food just isn't one of my favorite types of food. Honestly, I wasn't even there expecting some amazing Mexican food experience. I mainly wanted something fried, sweet, and tasty. That was the thing I was most excited about. Then came the biggest disappointment. When I was finally ready to order the strawberry fried dessert that had originally convinced me to drive over there, I was told it was only served during the lunch hours. I was definitely not happy about that. After everything that had already happened, finding out that the one thing I specifically went there for wasn't even available during dinner was a pretty big letdown. So overall, I would say the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and the service was generally good. My food was okay, but the birria had much more cheese and much less meat than I expected, the refried beans weren't really my favorite, and the dessert I specifically wanted wasn't available during dinner. I did appreciate that the waiter noticed I hadn't received chips and salsa and brought them out without me having to ask. I may give it another try sometime, especially since it's so close to my house, but I would probably try something different next time. And if I do go back, I'll definitely be checking the hours for that strawberry fried dessert first because I'm not driving over there again thinking I'm getting it only to find out it's a lunch-only item!
