I called and ordered a veggie sandwich with chicken added with the Italian dressing on the side. The worker was kind. Had a little trouble understanding what I was requesting. Hoping he got it right. Fingers crossed! He told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to get it. Not the best area. Before I walked in a homeless guy asked me for money. There were a few homeless people sitting around there. I went to get it and the worker, possibly owner was nice and welcoming. My order was ready. The restaurant looked pretty clean and safe. I got back to my apartment and one of the dressings on the side spilled out and went everywhere. It was a mess. Luckily, the sandwich was wrapped in foil. The sandwich wasn't anything special. The good was the tomato and lettuce was fresh. It wasn't really what I expected. Not many veggies and tiny pieces of chicken. A little disappointed. The bread was fresh! It is a large sandwich. Had half. Good service. Not the best sandwich, but I bet they have other stuff that is good.

I'm so glad we found this place. Calzone Italia has the best Italian food in town, the pizza crust is dio good. Customer service is outstanding. This will be our to go place for Italian food. Ohh wait! Also the fresh garden salads are so yummy. Try it out, you'll love it!

We've been buying from the woman who owns this restaurant for years and we really enjoyed her deep-fried calzones. But the new owner has made it even better calzone than, Italian lady who owned the restaurant before. I really loved her cooking. But he does even better job with a calzone there's more meat and cheese it's just bigger. Keep up the good work.. The new owner has a flavor for everything Italian. The menu is extended plus have sodas on the menu. You can order online. We're working out some bugs though.. 5 stars for this guy

Everytime I eat here I am 110% satisfied you really can't find good homemade food like this anymore there is heart love and passion in this food if your wondering if this place is a good place too eat it really is I promise you won't regret it!!! 5 stars for sure!

I didn't know the other owners were no longer the Owners. I walk into loud music. I ordered 1 meat and cheese and 1 deluxe Calzone. Nothing is labeled to determine which is which. Both ended up being deluxe .When I ordered online it was misleading . It gave a option to select baked. I assumed if I didn't select that option it wouldn't be baked. It was baked. There was confusion about my order. I think the gentleman knew it was incorrect but I didn't know until I got home.

We could not wait to take a picture before devouring.

Lettuce might as well be water added to your sando. This deli classic was piled high with salami, ham, mortadella (high-end bologna), cotto salami, and provolone. This sandwich was delicious and with the addition of the "works" mayo, mustard, tomato, wax peppers, onions, and oil + vinegar it was a chef's kiss! A deli sandwich is only as good as it's bread and their bread is amazing! Soft, but chewy and dense enough to hold up with all of the dressings and sauces added on. Not sure if they make the bread in house, but it's great! This is a full on deli/grocery. You can get deli meats and cheese fresh cut and bagged for your home. They also sell tons of of imported goods like olive oil, canned sauce, and marinades. The staff is friendly and you can eat your sando on their front patio or take it go!

However, it is definitely worth it! For a while now I have been wanting to try this place and finally for around to it. The staff was great very kind and friendly as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was amazing, she was always checking up on us, making sure we had everything we needed it and that we were comfortable. I ordered the Fried Chicken Biscuit with Tater tots and for my drink I ordered the OG Lemonade. Starting with the sandwich, the chicken was nice and juicy, very crunchy as well. The flavor of the chicken was very good as well. The buscuit added that nice hint of sweetness that just tied the whole thing together. The tater tots were definitely crunchy, which I loved. They give you a very well serving of tater tots. I did not end up finishing mine, but they had great taste and texture. The lemonade was very refreshing, and it just hit that spot so well. It was appealing to the eye and tasted like freshly squeezed lemonade. Overall experience was 10/10, I would come back. The place gives off vintage coffee shop vibes even though it is not a coffee shop. Seating is definitely very limited inside. However, they do have outdoor tables with umbrellas which is a nice touch. Price-wise I would say it is a bit pricier compared to other similar restaurants I have visited. The total came out to $45 for two plates of the chicken biscuit and two lemonades.

But while the food was delicious as usual, everything else was surprisingly mediocre. Despite not being busy when we arrived, we had to wait over an hour for our food and watched while other couples received theirs and ate before us, despite coming in 15-20 minutes later than us. And even though it all tasted great, my food was cold, as if it had been sitting for a while. We were told a couple of large to-go orders came in that disrupted the timing of our food, but in reality, it seems like our order got lost in the mix. It finally came 70 minutes after we arrived, and I was surprised that when my partner asked for a refill of their tea (which they naturally finished well before our food came), they charged them for a second drink and didn't even offer to comp the refill for the long delay. I don't expect freebies when I go out, but it just seemed like we were more of an inconvenience to them than anything. It's unfortunate because their food is always great and I want to see them continue to succeed, especially during this difficult time with road construction outside. But this was a pretty frustrating experience, and will unfortunately make me hesitant to dine-in again in the near future.
