Please beware of this service! We had them come for a major cleaning and ended up with $500+…read moredamages to our NEWLY INSTALLED WOOD FLOOR. The cleaning itself was adequate, but when we took a closer look at the floor, we saw multiple deep scratches. Apparently, the maids dragged the couch around instead of tipping it or else putting pads beneath the feet. We had the floor installer look at it, he said it was not repairable and we needed to replace the damaged boards. We contacted the maid service owner who came to inspect the damage. He saw it was 8-10 boards and he agreed that he would pay the $500 repair bill. Their policy is that they do not move furniture because of this type of thing. He promised to send us the check the next week. The next week, no check. He said sorry and he would send it out right away. A week later, still nothing. When we contacted him again, he told us he had no intentions of paying for the damage, instead offering only 1/2 the repair bill. If we didn't accept his offer, he said he would not repay anything at all. I told him that we would have to take the case to small claims court. He also said that if we put a bad review about this, he would have it removed as he said he has done with the other negative reviews. He also threatened to put in a bad review on my business that HE HAS NEVER BEEN TO! We are seniors who really don't need this kind of stress. Actually nobody deserves this treatment. There are many maid services out there that will earn your business and respect, these guys aren't them.

But then again, most homeowners have no clue…read morewhere the hardwood flooring is coming from, other than to make a choice from a selection of hardwood samples from a floor installer. We found a reputable installer who said he had been doing business and buying flooring and supplies from Floor Supply and Equipment Co for about 20 years. Based on his recommendation, we bought our flooring directly from them and paid regular prices. Our purchase was not from a pile of 'seconds.' This was supposed to be first quality wood and based on the samples we saw, they were nice. After installation in one bedroom, we noticed a good portion of the flooring pieces were NOT properly stained. Edges and ends show a lighter color than what the stain should be pointing to a quality control issue. We estimate at a minimum 30% of the wood is like this (see photos). Pictures were taken with and w/o flash; note the light color edges and ends. After calling the office, speaking to Judy, who said she would contact the owners and get back to us....no one has returned our calls. She said they have never had any complaints about the quality of the COUNTRY WOOD FLOORING products. Well maybe there never has been a problem until now, or, no one ever noticed the defect in staining! She said they would take back whatever wood had not been opened and give a refund; however, there would be a 10% RESTOCKING FEE. Great customer service? NO. If we wanted to buy second quality wood flooring, it should have been posted so and priced accordingly. Needless to say, this has been a tremendous inconvenience considering the possible logistics and options to resolve this. Ripping it all out and the redoing the floors vs sanding all the floors down, re-staining and sealing - any way you look at this....A TREMENDOUS INCONVENIENCE AND ANNOYANCE. We are still waiting to hear back from this company - there will be a followup to this review as to the outcome.

I purchased a custom made floor. Mr. Allhands, the owner walked me through the entire process with a professional and educating attitude. As far as the instillation, they were really quick with their job and ended up putting together beautiful floors. Their price included helping us remove our old carpet and moving the furniture around. After they were done with their work. We are very happy with our new floors! Floor Supply and Equipment Co not only handled my family's needs and met our expectations, but also exceeded them in every way possible. Had known how beautiful and affordable it was to get rid of the carpeting and have these gorgeous floors, I would have done it years ago.
