Update: The company didn't admit to taking all of my things but did say they threw out some soiled towels and cleaning supplies that were old. That is a lie. Everything in the apartment was within 6 months old and most of the items were brand new. I sent the company all of my receipts which added up to well over $300, and they did end up reimbursing me. But it was very frustrating having to deal with that in the middle of a move. This company came into my new apartment (which I just got the keys for) and took all of my cleaning supplies and personal effects that I had placed in the apartment. My landlord had hired them to meet me at the apartment and they didn't show up until after I had left the property. They went in and removed all of my items. There wasn't any cleaning needed since I had done it all myself. Why would they take my things???? Shouldn't they have called my landlord to ask if they should remove the personal effects? My landlord has left at least 3 messages for them and I left a voicemail and sent them an email with the list of missing items (worth approx. $300). They finally responded to my landlord the next day and to my email within a few days. Very disappointing to deal with a company that employs dishonest cleaners. read more

I have used this company for a long time, but during a recent cleaning, a brand new, valuable necklace I received for my birthday just a month before went missing from my home. As it was brand new and the first time I had taken it off, I know where I specifically put it so it would not be in the way for cleaning. When I came home that evening, it was no longer to be found. When I reached out to the owner, the response was the expected "canned" response to ask the cleaners but otherwise unhelpful. They told me not to report it to insurance and offered no support in resolving the situation other than asking the cleaners if they took it. (obvious answer was provided) I have since filed a police report. The company has refused to provide their bonding or liability insurance information directly to me and have denied providing complete names of the two cleaners for my police report, one of whom was not our normal person who comes. I understand that mistakes and issues can happen, but the lack of accountability from management was extremely disappointing. Set up an appointment for 9 AM never showed up never returned the call. I drove almost 50 miles for absolutely nothing.

Used them twice on a vacant townhouse I manage. First was after Tenants moved out, they didn't touch the refrigerator, it had stickers on it and the drawers were pulled out. Some other issues. I was going to have them back after we found a tenant to do a dust off so thought they would handle it then. I scheduled a 2nd visit. They asked if it was vacant and I told Vanessa it was and I gave them the condo to lockbox. She told me 1 to 3 so I figured I'd check on them about 4:30 of 5. I was there around 10am and the cleaning crew shows up. It's a girl, a very pregnant girl, a little boy about 4 or 5, and I'm guessing grandma. 4 people at the door. I tell them I wasn't expecting them until later and that went over her head and she came inside. I thought they would clean up some of the things I was making a mess with, particularly, the stickers on the refrigerator. I brought goof off and was removing them myself after Vanessa said she couldn't be sure the stickers would come off. They come off with the right chemicals and tools and I couldn't trust them to bring 'goof off'. The older woman skiddaddles with the kid when she sees me so now I'm left with a very pregnant woman and another girl. I take the girl to the refrigerator and show her that I need this area really clean. Fridge is pulled half way out, it rolls easily, I pulled it out so they would do behind it. That didn't happen. Apparently the girls couldn't reach the top of the fridge so I completed the cleaning job they didn't do. In speaking with Vanessa, she was unable to comprehend the liability of having a child on a 3 story townhouse with stairs everywhere... She thought it would be vacant, her words. Apparently she thought the I wouldn't be there. The girls went upstairs to start and I could tell they didn't want to start on the floor I would be on. I finished what I was doing in about 30 minutes and went up to give them the key to lock up. The one girl is cleaning the toilet, the pregnant girl is standing there watching and talking away. Yakity yak. I'm standing their for 2 or 3 minutes, the girl scrubbing the toilet can't see me, I'm paying for 2 cleaners except one doesn't appear to be doing anything. I finally interrupt and I tell them about the key and then the pregnant girl walks over to the window, releases some spray and wipes it off the window. Just trying to look like she's working. In the meantime, the chemicals smell and I'm surprised they would be okay exposing a pregnant woman to the chemicals. Company charged me extra for going over time. I asked if it was because the 2 person crew only had one person who I saw working? I asked Vanessa how how come she didn't didn't tell me she was sending me a pregnant woman, she said these 2 are experienced, YIKES. The pregnant girl looked about 8 months along. Multiple people showing up at the property, I'm not told one is very pregnant, they thought my place was vacant and could be used as daycare. In the end, they did a terrible job. The refrigerator area, which I specifically showed them, had to be cleaned by ME and the floor was not swept prior to them leaving. There was dirt and debris, I filled a dustpan walking around sweeping up. There's no carpet so you see everything. I was offered a 20% discount but I have no credit on my bank statement. I have the agreed upon fee and then another $20 for 'overtime'. No 20% off as described in the email where Vanessa, wiht no last name on her emails, thanked me for bringing my concerns to their attention. My concerns? I hired a cleaning crew and they didn't do the job. The resolution was to give me a 20% discount that they never applied. read more

I had a house cleaning scheduled between 12-1 PM. When no one arrived, I called and texted multiple times starting at 1 PM and received no response. It wasn't until a little after 2 PM that I finally received a message stating there were "technical difficulties" and that someone would arrive at 2:30 PM. By that point, I had already been cleaning my home myself for over an hour because I assumed no one was coming and I still needed my house cleaned. While delays happen, completely ignoring multiple calls and texts from a paying customer is unacceptable. What's most frustrating is that despite acknowledging their technical difficulties, no one responded when I requested a discount or partial refund to account for the time and work I had already done. If there truly were system issues, that should have prompted better follow-up and customer care, not silence. Luis from FW House Cleaning has ruined regular cleaning for me. Now when I "clean," it just looks like I lightly rearranged the dirt. When he cleans, my house looks like it's about to be listed on Zillow. He stays until everything is done, never rushes, and somehow finds things to clean that I didn't even realize were part of the house. Vanessa charged my card after me asking her to take it off of auto payments. i hired them to clean my house, vanessa said the first cleaning had to be a deep cleaning and the ladies that showed up was not aware of that. they were horrible, i had to clean when they left and my place wasnt filthy! i had already washed the dishes and linens . i sent vanessa pictures and she claim i reached out too late about my experience and because i was not continuing with their once a month cleaning she had to charge me even more money which she did. i will be contacting my bank over this for fraud. My friend set this up for me to help as we are dealing with a critically ill family member and life has been incredibly chaotic and overwhelming. The first initial cleaning was fine, the crew showed up on time, worked quickly and thoroughly and were polite and professional. The second cleaning was a new crew. They asked to come two hours early, which I was able to accommodate. My understanding was that after the initial cleaning the crew would spend 90 minutes each visit. They left after an hour and in the living room only cleaned the floor, leaving the other surfaces in that room completely untouched. Vanessa reached out to me the next day via text asking for feedback, and I responded in a text with the above concerns and heard nothing back. I tried to reached out again a couple of days later via text AND phone and got no response. I finally spoke to my friend who had referred them, and they responded to her right away, saying they would reach out to me in 24 to 48 hours. Needless to say I found a new cleaning service. My friend has used Fairway for years and is pretty satisfied but my experience left me feeling frustrated and honestly, a little disrespected. I always try and focus on the positive but the last cleaning I had with them was abysmal. One star for competitive prices and great promotions, one star for following up on service (but it's not always effective). Your team is hit and miss. Our cleaners had great potential but tended to short cut when unsupervised, like leaving early when nobody was there to check on them and then lied to management they stayed the whole time. Inconsistent cleaning results, from very good to terrible. I kept going, hoping to build a good relationship and improve consistency because when they did a good job, they did a great job. But- Last cleaning was moving out and it was so awful that our property manager thought we hadn't booked a cleaning at all. There was a disconnect with admin (not my fault, I have evidence I booked a move-out cleaning), so they only scheduled the regular 4 hours instead of 5. The cleaners are now claiming they ran out of time to clean properly, which is another lie. The house was almost empty- there is no excuse for the poor job they did. They left things undone that we had explicitly asked them to do. Very, very disappointing. I would not recommend because at the important moments, they let you down. read more

I am very disappointed at this company. We had a cleaning scheduled for today at 3pm and they CANCELED ON US within an hour and a half prior to the appointment. I have family coming from out of town tomorrow and was really counting on them. I am 8 months pregnant and have no way to clean my house on my own, so will have to call family and cancel plans. The more specific I am about my needs, particularly for non-regular crew, the better the outcome. So overall, I am satisfied with the service. This company did 3 stints at my rental house within one month and on each one the work was questionable. On the 3rd try after asking for a very thorough deep cleaning so I could show the property the next day, I was horrified to see they didn't even do the things I had asked for, let alone a "deep clean". Trying to be gracious, I asked the owner Vanessa to delete the last charge but I would still pay for the first two. She refused. I then had to make another trip back to the rental house and hire someone else to do the job--which they did--and for way less than what Vanessa was charging! Where should I start. I'll say their pricing is competitive compared to what out there. I hate to leave a bad review but I am truly just in shock. I'm staring at my cousins for weeks as I'm having some things done at my place. This company was referred my a friend of mine. Contacted the company to clean the Living, kitchen, bathroom areas once a month. It was supposed to be a deep cleaning however that was not the case. They explained that they will call upon arrival however that was not the case.We were completely disappointed upon the walk-through after the ladies were done. After the walk-through we did contact the office to let them know we were dissatisfied and they offered to send someone else out. Just the fact that they had to send someone else out didn't sit well with me it should've been cleaned properly the first time and then the nerve to tell say that it was their first time cleaning the home and everyone cleaning standards are different. Really because I'm pretty sure everyone cleaning standards is exactly that CLEAN.The absolute worst of it all is that today we noticed the glass light fixture in the kitchen had been broken. They had turned it around so that it wasn't immediately noticeable.Decided to do a search of the trash and lo and behold I find the broken glass pieces in a chip bag with paper towels! Seriously!! I understand accidents happen however for you to come into someone's home break some thing and try and hide it and throw it away like a child is simply a excusable. The better thing to do would have been to communicate and make someone aware of what you had done. Called into the office and spoke with a Vanessa who seem like she was reading some sort of rehearsed script for incidentals. It's unfortunate that I have to update my review. I've used them probably 4 times. Most of the time they were good but the last visit was a disaster -- mostly because of how I was treated. Right after they left, there was a medium circle stain on our upstairs carpet. it was wet and dark. I took a photo and sent it to them. and they did not get back to me. The next day was a Friday and I called them twice and they didn't call me back. After business hours, I received an email saying that unforunately they had nothing to do with the stain. I called and only got their answering machine even though it's a cell phone so they could call me back after hours if they wanted. I also need to mention that over the last few months, they call me all the time to ask if I need their services. So it was disappointing that they couldn't call me back when I had a problem. I called over the weekend and got nothing. The next Monday, my husband and I both called. Finally they emailed me again and said it was impossible that they made the stain because their cleaning products aren't dark colors. I had no idea what the stain was so I didn't know how to clean it. I called again and got no response. What I found so insulting is that...it's not as if I was trying to blame them for some stain I had in the past. They were the last people in the house. Then the stain was there. And it was wet. Never heard anything again from them. This was about two weeks ago. I haven't been in the mood to write a bad review and finally have a moment now. I do not recommend this company at all. I was treated like it was my fault there was a stain on the carpet . I only called them because I was rundown and didn't have the energy to clean. instead I ended up with a big fat stain on my carpet ! read more

After they left, I had to clean again: there was dirt in the corners, the sills were not cleaned (dirt in corners), supposedly they cleaned the blinds - there were greasy and dirty spots on the blinds, there was dust under the cabinet. Refrigerator was not cleaned/touched. When I contacted the realtor that the job was not properly done, I was told that they can come in and fix the issues. Well, this never happened. I had bad experience with FW House Cleaning. 1) They were supposed to call ahead of time. Instead, they called after they had arrived. 2) I arranged with the cleaning team that I would leave and return to do a walk through 15 minutes before their paid time ends. I came 5 minutes before the agreed time - they were gone. 3) Cleaning was not satisfactory. The floor was not cleaned well. I saw spider web in multiple places in the bathroom and in the rooms. Attached are a few pictures. I reported my experience to the office and sent some pictures of the spider web and dirty floor. I was offered 30 extra minutes of cleaning for a future order. We have been using Fairway for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure if they have changed hands but we used to deal with Masa & Michael and for the past couple years Vanessa has done the scheduling. Now, before I get accused of trying to harm a small business or a woman owned business or whatever during a pandemic again let me say that I run a small business and there is no excuse for doing substandard work EVER. I called Fairway and scheduled to have an approx. 600sf empty 1 bedroom unit deep cleaned. They scheduled 2 hours and I put in the request that if they needed additional time to let me know. We were painting the following day and needed all the surfaces cleaned so dirt, etc. wouldn't be in the paint. Next day I get a call from my boss saying that the unit wasn't cleaned. I said it was and I went to check it and lo and behold: it was one of the worst cleaning jobs that they have ever done for us. I don't know what the crew was thinking but the painters had to clean before they started as the cabinets, base and sills were still all dirty. The tub looked like it was an afterthought. We just had one cleaned last month by them and it was impeccable so you are playing russian roulette crew*wise. I called Vanessa and her solution was to have them come right back out but the painters were painting so we scheduled for a couple days later to do the kitchen and bathroom. She offered me a non expiring 40% off discount on our next cleaning. I told her the correct thing to do would be to offer the discount on this cleaning but she went into a long explanation about how they are a small business and they cant do an almost 5 man hour complimentary cleaning and stay in business. And guess what? That's great because I wasn't asking for that. I was asking for a clean unit and a discount on the next cleaning as we had to pay the painters for doing the cleaning that they did. In the end it seemed that it would work out because we had another unit that needed to be cleaned. Here is where it went South: Vanessa quoted $169 for the next unit (same price we paid for the unit in question, even though it's smaller). I reminded her that she offered me the discount so she knocked it down to $144, 15% off. By this time I was over it so I cancelled everything. We are sitting with a unit that wasn't cleaned properly, that we had to pay additional monies to get the painters going and will need to hire someone to finish the job that they were paid to do. Now looking for a new company ... NEVER AGAIN. read more

It's so unfortunate to have to update my review but this year since February I had Marco and Aleyda and they robbed my home of some of my jewelry and purses. They were allowed unsupervised several times in my home and nobody else had access inside my home. The disgusting thing of all this is they are still going out to homes. They are rude and suck! They sit around for 10 minutes on the phone with their office and decide that I havent paid for enough time for them to do the cleaning, which I did. Another time I had to go out right before they show up. They dont even bother to call me and leave the building when I show up. I still had to pay a $60 cancellation fee.
