Warm, gooey chocolate center that basically hugged my soul, surrounded by ice cream that tasted like it was made by people who actually care. The workers? Absolute legends. Friendly, funny, and somehow made me feel like a regular even though I was just a random guy with chocolate on my face. Everything was just... great. Annoyingly, perfectly. She got us through in about 15 minutes! -This place has some really cool flavors and combos. I ordered the peach cobbler shake, and it was so sweet and so good I couldn't believe it : ) The cobbler flavor is ridiculous! And the cone pieces are a game changer. Give it a try! Once Baked Cookie Dough (5): My wife loves the traditional cookie dough so this piqued our interest. If you've ever had a pizookie, its sort of like that. Sort of underbaked and soft. It was delicious! Coffee Toffee Crunch (5): Can't go wrong with a coffee/toffee combo. Their slow churned process makes this really creamy and delicious! Wild Blackberry (4): Curiosity got to us on this one since wild blackberries seem to be everywhere up here. I've had some really good ones and some really questionable ones. This was good. What I'd expect. What this proved to me was their sweet cream base is amazing and can be paired with anything really. Lemon Raspberry (5): Wasn't expecting much but this one blew me away. This was my favorite of the group! Sweet and tart and fruity all at the same time with no flavor overpowering another. Very good. Cold Brew Float (4): This is really just a cup of the ice cream of your choice. Then you grab a can of their cold brew and pour it on top. I went with their mint chip. It was good. The cold brew was good. This is something I feel like I'd do at home too. (and I think I will cause we're taking some pints home!) Overall, a great stop on your way to wherever. They have pints to take home as well. Luckily we had a cooler in the car so we took home our favorite flavors. We'll be making this a stop whenever we're in the area now.

He says that there is a 3 scoop, or a 6 scoop. Then he goes into, "If you're over 50, you can get a true single scoop" I'm like, wtf, over?? Me: "So, I can't get a double scoop, and I can't get a single scoop, unless I'm over 50", (I'm obvious over 60) I said well, screw that. I also grabbed a brownie for my daughter in law and 3 cat shaped chocolate truffles. Total- $35. Woof. I knew the brownie was 5.99. I just paid and hoped everything tasted as good as the price indicated. The truffles were decadent, I took the honeycomb on my cruise as a sweet treat for the week & Sophie loved the brownie- so, kinda win. My other ding was the lack of customer service. There were a few of us in the shop, I just had one person ahead of me in line- but the cashier came off as bored. Hopefully it was a one off, for the tourist prices, you could be a bit hospitable. Outside seating was stunning, the gardens throughout this little shopping cove are gorgeous! Next time I'll just try one thing!

The area has some parking spots, but when we arrived, all the parking spaces and all the tables were taken. They were quite busy for a Wednesday evening. When we arrived, we had no idea what to do. Do we sit ourselves? Do we wait to be seated? Do we place an order at the counter and then sit? There was no signage and no greeting to inform us. So we stood there, feeling silly and out of place, for a good few minutes, before one adult staff member approached the counter to punch an order into a computer and literally said to us, 'I don't have time to talk to customers right now, sorry.' Ooooookay we'll just keep standing here. Eventually, our waitress/savior Kate greeted us, sat us at a table, and gave us menus. She was younger, upbeat, kind, and apologetic for the confusion. We looked over the menu, and a third staff member came by to take our order. I ordered the Big Scoop cheeseburger basket with fries & my husband ordered the hot ham & cheese with fries. The hot ham & cheese was your average grilled cheese with a protein. Nothing special. The burger was good, but nothing special there either. You'll notice that the other half of the menu is all. ice. cream. Just options and options of different ways to order your ice cream; the flavors are listed on the wall, not on the menu. They are happy to make any changes or customizations to your ice cream order. IMO the menu was overwhelming with no easy way to sort or compare options, so it needs an overhaul in the way it's presented. We ended up getting the #13, Sweet Superstitions, with the flavors Moose Tracks & chocolate peanut butter ice cream scoops. Again, nothing special here; the two cherries promised in the menu was just one cherry cut in half, and the peanuts were stale. The fudge wasn't hot either. For a place called Big Scoop, we got pretty small scoops of ice cream. When we checked out at the counter, Kate helped us out again. She was very encouraging and was so excited to have us in town for the tulip festival. I hope Kate gets a raise or goes far in life! Overall, a fun memory but an underwhelming experience in terms of service and flavor.

And your food might show up all at once, or more likely whenever they get around to it. They may or may not forget your order while gossiping or arguing. They might over steam the milk in your latte. The soup might not show up with your sandwich. Your mocha might not be stirred, leaving all the chocolate in the bottom. And so on. But if you listen closely you'll know who is dating who and what they think of having to work shifts they don't want... Maturity, focus and attentive management would turn this cute concept into a shop to patronize. As it stands, we avoid it because we just don't need the frustration. There's nothing here that isn't being done better elsewhere. Nice idea, gen-z execution. Not recommended at this time.

Everything was fantastic and clearly made from scratch with fresh ingredients. It was a little pricey, but I guess that's to be expected in this area. The service was great & the interior is welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend you stop in.
