Good burgers, I've been eating them for years. The fries are a little bit salty so ask for less salt. The shakes are great.

There food is good, however, if you are going to have a drive thru it should not take 25 mins to get your food. The truck behind us drove away and we would have to if we hadn't already spent $50+ on food. No one ever came to the window to let us know how much longer we needed to wait. I think waiting for 25 mins for food after spending $50+ is unreasonable. Then we got our food and as we were driving away we realized we were missing food and sauces we had specifically asked for! Went to the drive through today. One car ahead of me. Took six minutes for them to get their order and leave. Cool. I pulled ahead to the window. Over the course of the next 7 minutes no one opened the window, took my order, or even acknowledged my presence. To be sure there were three workers, including one who was four feet away from me standing at the cash register the entire time. But no one even looked at me, let alone opened the window and give a friendly "we're busy but we will be right with you." They definitely were trying to avoid eye contact. I ended up just driving away and here I sit at ixtapa eating a meal I literally ordered three minutes ago (I don't know how they do it either!) I have waited in some very long lines at spartan; I get it. I once waited in my car 42 minutes... FORTY TWO! But the line kept moving and eventually I got my food. Never ever had them ignore me at the actual window before. Pretty annoying. Food's ok; though too expensive... but that's not a deal breaker. Although I am a regular customer and I actually enjoy the food. I showed up 25 minutes before they closed because I had to stay late at work. When I arrived, they informed me that they shut their fryer off a half hour before closing. In my eyes, if you are open until 8 pm, you should have your fryer still up and working. I left without any food because I wanted a crispy chicken and fries. Couldn't get either one. I do have to say that I was disappointed, but the staff was nice about it. read more

The fries are super yummy! i've gotten them a few times and the workers are very nice. i ordered a burger with no tomato and i tried emphasizing no cheese... unfortunately i received the cheeseburger of despair and agony because when i opened it the first thing i saw was cheese and tomato:( it was an honest mistake but i couldn't eat it which definitely bummed me out because this was my first time going and wanting to try a burger, and by the time i got home and opened it, they had already closed and i couldn't go back. at least now i know to check my food before i leave... i will try again it just kinda sucks i spent money on something i can't eat read more

To me, the burgers are a lot tastier than MacDonalds. Service was very fast and they have a large selection of milkshakes.

Service is always good. I always order via phone then pick up. We've eaten here so many times and it is consistently good. Portions are bigger than we need so we often share meals between family members. I really like the fries and crispy chicken salad. In the past they had raspberry shakes with real raspberries and the past 4 times or so we've been there it's only the raspberry syrup which isn't as great. Drive through takes a minute, but food is hot, fresh and good! definitely drive-in vibes. Malted marshmallow milkshake was divine.

I can only review what I got here which was a mini cheeseburger and fries. I absolutely loved both. Both items were extremely fresh. I like the mini cheeseburgers because it was plain and small. My goodness was it amazing with their secret sauce. I'm salivating as I write this review because it was that good. I have passed this place thinking it's a little coffee shop but it's drive in food plus espresso. I love it! I'm not a huge fan of big burgers with lots of toppings so the mini was perfect for me. It reminded me of dicks cheeseburgers but with more meat and better cheese and delicious sauce. The fries were soo good too. I think it's because everything was fresh, so I'm hoping on my next run here my items will be just as tasty! read more

This is more like a traditional drive-in but with only one window where you order and pick up your food so if there is a line of cars in front of you, you may have a long wait. I ordered the Camano Cowboy Burger and it was fresh and very tasty. Definitely a winner. I also ordered fries which were also very tasty and cooked to perfection. Fish sandwich is a winner! Fresh bun, fresh greens, and a big piece of cod and definitely satisfying. I did eat some of my hubby's fries, which were yummy. This is a drive thru, so be prepared to take your food elsewhere to eat. read more

What an amazing experience at the Spartan Drive-In this morning. I was greeted at the drive thru with the biggest ray of sunshine, I should have gotten her name. Anyhow, I ordered the $5 Breakfast Sandwich... there are options! Yay! I ordered the Sausage on Sourdough with a Fried Egg & Cheese. Holy Yummmmmm! Absolutely delicious. You'd pay at least $10-$15 for this at a restaurant. The other options are Bacon or Canadian Bacon on Regular Bagel, Everything Bagel, Sourdough and I think Whole Wheat was the last option. Okay this is a little belated. I was here at Spartan Burger about two weeks ago. I think it's drive-thru only now which to me is annoying but I understand why. What I didn't understand was the exorbitant prices they want for run of the mill food. The Spartan double was around $10. It was typical burger stand quality and definitely nothing to write home about. I enjoy a messy burger like everyone else don't get me wrong. I guess the milk shakes are what Spartan is known for......if you want to invest almost $10 for your ice cream Jones. I realize they have to keep the lights on but I do too. The two workers were very nice and courteous and overall the grub was decent. I especially liked the French fries and onion rings. I just couldn't get over the north of $40 price tag to feed two of us from the local burger stand. I'll go back eventually but not for a long time. read more

Stopped here for fish n chips! It had been recommended to us so thought we would try it out. It's a cozy little spot that sits right off the main drag running through Stanwood. We have driven by it many times without stopping. Honestly the name doesn't really describe what they serve. Nice menu. You can call it in, go through the drive through or sit out on the patio or small area inside. We chose to walk in and order and then they ran it out to the car! The food was extremely hot and fresh! I think this place is great for a burger, fries and shakes. This is a drive-inn, so nothing spectacular, but their food is good and the service is super friendly. A little torn here. Some awesome things and some really not awesome things. We swung by one evening for dinner for the family. Service was okay, a teenage boy with a mop of blond hair wasn't terribly friendly and didn't listen very well. We grabbed 2 cowboy burgers, onion rings, a banana malt shake, a mocha shake, and two kids meals with strawberry shakes. The Cowboy burgers were delicious! Best part of the meal hands down! The onion rings were lukewarm and two of the five of them had curled outward and couldn't be bitten through because the outer akin had been left on them. The mocha shake was great! The banana malt shake had a lot of overripe banana in it...so it wasn't thick it was kind of chunky and slimey textured. The kids fries burgers and nuggets were yummy and devoured! Their strawberry shakes were I think a very mild cherry flavor...not sure what happened there. The total for all of it was 51, 58 after tip. So all in all, I didn't feel the food was a good value. I didn't feel the service was outstanding and in a pinch I would order just a burger and fries to go if I didn't have an alternative. We were looking for a good burger after camping at Camano State Park and this place knocked it out of the park. Burgers were high quality and just the right amount of messy. We ordered calamari sticks, onion rings and fries and all three were perfect. The breading on the rings and calamari was high quality and hit the spot. Nice burgers and tasty crispy chicken salads. Tasty fries also but serving size of fries is very small. However they have no clue on how to manage the cars turning up at their drive through window. They don't ask their drive through customers to go park in the waiting bays after they place their order so if you arrive just after someone placed an order you have to wait to even place your order until the previous customer has received their order and drives off. Ridiculous and stupid as that delays placing your order by 5-10 minutes!!! If this had happened to me only once then I would not bother mentioning but I have seen this over and over again at this place. read more
