My shopping experience here could be described by only one word: perfection. Camarillo Mattress Warehouse has nailed so many aspects of a perfect shopping experience, so many immensely positive attributes. Debbie is the woman that helped us, and she just happens to be the store owner. She is very smart and very experienced when it comes to mattresses. I gave her a budget and an idea of what I wanted and she took it and flew with it. She had so many choices of mattresses I didn't know where to start but she gave me well thought of guided options; I am a big guy so she showed me some mattresses at different prices that had a balance of support and comfort. She had a great sense of humor, was easy to talk to and personable. She used an excellent balance of trying to help me choose and giving me time to choose. I ended up coming back the next day because I needed to let my body reset before making a final choice. Most places would freak out if you said you wanted to come back the next day but she encouraged it. I could really tell she actually cared that I got healthy good rest and wanted to help me spend my money well. She was such an excellent sales person that I didn't want to give my money to anyone else for a mattress; I wanted to give it to her and her nice local unique wonderful family owned business. I ended up getting a high quality spring mattress with a cool gel layer for hundreds less than the tag price, and several amazing throw in items to the package, including a nice frame, matching box spring, an excellent mattress pad / cover and a luxury high quality latex pillow, all for a hundred dollars under my originally stated budget. She has most of her mattresses stocked there so I got to take it home right then and there ans she even helped tie it up! She supports local youth by offering cheap delivery services through them instead of having an overhead an owning a store truck.She also helped my friend get an insanely awesome bed and value for his budget. As the words say, this experience of shopping for a mattress was "woohoo, as good as it gets"! I would like to thank, Debbie (the owner), Barbara and Suzanne for that...For the the fellow "yelpers" out there, this is exactly how I found the Camarillo Mattress Warehouse. Their reviews were "right on"...I agree with everything that was written before here on Yelp and I must say, the outstanding customer service and friendliness, along with a great deal is why I feel I had to give this business a huge stamp of "approval". They are good. The mattress I just purchased is perfect. My son is almost 6'9", he has been sleeping in his bunkbed, that we had made for him many moons ago, he is 17, and will be sleeping in his new California King for many moons to come! Or at least til he grows out of it, and can afford to have a custom mattress made, haha. Thanks ladies, you guys rock! I went into the store with my grandma to just get a bed frame because my bed frame was broken and I was tired of having my bed frame on the floor. I decided just to get a simple metal bed frame thats adjustable because I would eventually like me and my husband to have a queen size bed. We go there and they we, so we waited. Even though my grandma wasn't in the mood we waited because I really wanted a bed frame. So it was finally our turn, and the owner, Debbie, said Just take it!!! I was like really??And she just said that we were so patient we could just have it.. I was so excited, and my grandma was especially happy because it made something she didn't necessarilly want to do so worth it. I am very thankful for this blessing, I am so blessed. My bed isn't on the floor anymore. This act shows that Debbie really is focused on customer service and making her customers happy. She is thankful that her business is still there. BEST GUEST ROOM "FULL MATTRESS" NEED fulfilled so much better than I could have expected. Went in for a "cheap" guest room full-size bed that we assumed would get used once or twice a month. Not looking for the "cheapest but the cheapest of the best"... Debbie nailed our needs with the perfect bed at the perfect price. After having mom over and then a sister-in-law for short stays, we knew the mattress was a hit with their positive feedback. Little did we know we would have 2 guests, husband and wife live with us for over 5 months now... in this CAMARILLO MATTRESS bed they have slept each and every night. This is a very good place to look for mattresses, especially to start your search if you are in the area. Most significantly, and the reason that I'm giving five stars is that they did not try to upsell. They showed me the mattresses that fit my needs and were in my price range. (This is in contrast to Ashley Furniture HomeStore, who first tried to sell me the $2500 mattress after I had just told them I was looking for something cheap.) Because the mattress I chose was in-stock, I was able to get same-day delivery and setup, which was important because I was going to be sleeping on the floor in my new apartment until I got it furnished. read more
