I love coming here to shop. We drive from downtown LA to Camarillo just for the awesome prices and stores they have. All the stores are clean and well organized. They are always stocked and the employees are super nice and helpful. They have the best deals compared to malls and other outlets. I always do my Christmas shopping here and everyone loves their gifts! Parking is amazing! They have huge lots with plenty of parking. You always find parking unless you come really close to Christmas time then it's a hassle. read more

For quality, customer service, and prices, I definitely go with this outlet, rather than the Citadel which happens to be closer to me. For ease and comfort of navigation, I choose the Citadel. If you go during the week and early enough, you will find parking easily. It is clean and well-maintained; however, it is huge, so on a hot day, it is going to be tough to walk around. There are not enough benches around, and the food court is only average with limited options. Take water with you. The Citadel has been made with the customer's comfort in mind, so it is easier to navigate specially for seniors. Camarillo Outlets have great deals, but the buyers' comfort in navigating the place has not been a priority. Make sure you visit Ann Taylor, Hanes, and the Nike Store, if you go. Deal or no deal...that is the question when you come here! Last week there were no deals people! Sorry but we were "sh_t" outta luck. Drove in the rain to get some deals on Uggs but they were wiped out!!! Kinda disappointed. But we made the best of it. We checked out a few more outlets then headed home. This outlet like most is "hit or miss." Probably wasn't smart going a few days after Christmas but we were tired of sitting around:) We did get lucky at the "aerie" outlet. Appears to be a really nice big outlet mall with some high-end stores. There are Also several restaurants on the premises, The grounds appeared to be clean. There was plenty of parking and two sides to the outlet mall. You actually cross over a street to get to the other side. GETTING HERE: The Camarillo Premium Outlets are located off the 101 Freeway in Camarillo. It is located on Ventura Blvd. which parallels the 101. There are 3 sections (parts) of the mall that are spread over a large area. If you are heading towards a certain store and can't find it, I would recommend contacting the store directly to confirm which section/part they are located in. (For example, there are 2 different Skechers locations.) REVIEW: This outlet mall is OK. My recommendation would be to plan to spend several hours here if you can, and park at one end and enjoy the walk (and enjoy the people watching, too!) I am not uber impressed with the restrooms or the small indoor food court, but it is what it is, and I hoped that I might have caught them in between cleanings. There are a few new stores opening up, which is encouraging for Camarillo. Personally, I am a fan of the Disney Store Outlet. :) Overall, I feel the outlets are a nice experience, but wouldn't recommend visiting here on the weekends or near a holiday. My husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sunglass Hut (Suite 508) this evening. We went to pick up a product we had ordered after receiving a call from the store. From the moment we walked in, the sales associate, Emily, was unprofessional--rolling her eyes and clicking her mouth in annoyance. When we provided the phone number that had called us (805-484-3799), Emily dismissively stated that it was not a Sunglass Hut number and responded with attitude. She then called the manager, Alex, to ask if he had called us, and when he said no, she rudely told us that she had tried to explain the item wouldn't be arriving but didn't think we would understand--again, with an unnecessary attitude. We calmly told her that perhaps the call had been a mistake, but instead of de-escalating the situation, she told us we were beneath her and asked us to leave. As we were exiting, my husband retrieved our receipt, which Emily had been keeping out of reach. Before leaving, he noticed a pair of glasses and stopped to take a look while I stood by the door texting a client. At that moment, Emily suddenly asked if she could help us, to which we politely declined. Her response was shocking--she aggressively told us to "get the hell out" of her store because we were making her nervous. My husband and I are in our 60s--why would we make her nervous? She then began yelling that we were giving her a panic attack, even though we were not engaging with her at all. I tried to explain that my husband was just looking at glasses, but she continued to yell at us to leave, threatening to call security. I told her to go ahead and call security, as we had done nothing wrong. She proceeded to make a call, falsely claiming that we were yelling at her and causing a scene--all while we stood there in shock at her behavior. When security arrived, we calmly explained what had happened, and they apologized to us. We then visited the other Sunglass Hut location (next to Michael Kors), where the staff was much kinder and also apologized on behalf of their colleague. This was by far the worst customer service experience we have ever had. When we initially paid for our order, there were no issues, but when we went to pick it up (which had not even arrived), we were treated with complete disrespect and told to leave. As senior citizens, we found this treatment not only unprofessional but outright appalling. I sincerely hope that Sunglass Hut's management addresses this incident and ensures that employees at Suite 508 receive proper training on how to treat customers with basic respect. read more

I had a really bad experience at Pacsun in this outlet. I went in with a couple friends and I was the only one who ended up buying anything. There was a whole section in the back where it was B1G2 free and I pick up a few items because I couldn't tell which ones were part of the sale and which weren't, as some clothing has clearance tags and some did not. I did not just think the ones without tags were just misplaced in the clearance are because there were multiple of the same styles on the racks that were part of the sale. When I went to the front to pay I asked my cashier to let me know how much each was, all was fine until we got to one shirt that I had in my pile. She could not find the item number for the shirt and she tried to look it up on her system, but she couldn't find it on their system. At the point that another coworker asked if she might help by finding the shirt on the Clarence wall. I said it's OK. I can just pass on the shirt because I felt bad that it was taking them so long to find the price. though I said it loud enough for everyone to hear the girls at the cashier desk, ignored me and continued to look for the shirt. Then another woman came to the register did not say anything to me my friends behind me or the girls who were already at the register and just took over the computer. After a couple minutes, I guess she found the price of the shirt, and she just told me your total will be and read out the total. I asked her how much that shirt would be as the total was more than I was expecting to pay for the buy one get two free deal. when she told me the total of that shirt, I told her I would pass at this point the girl who was originally helping me through her hands up in the air. This seemed very unprofessional to me and my friends. We were very disappointed in this I regret spending my money at this location with employees who are not kind and seem bothered to do their job. read more

It's big but everything's spread out onto other lots and there are no connection sidewalks. Really there's no safe way to walk from one lot to the other. I went a baby so I had to cut across the lot by edwards with a stroller as cars go around us on the road. I'm not sure if it's because of covid, but there are many closed shops. Their food court only had 2 shops open. There a cleaning lady going around rearranging chairs and she was banging the chairs around. It made the food court echoed. Not a very pleasant eating experience. There are a few luxury shops. I saw Versace, Ferragamo and Marc Jacobs. Coach if you consider it luxury and there is no Gucci. I can't say all the shops are outlets. They're just placed in the outlet. For example I went to buy my daughter crocs and the prices there are the exact same as the crocs online. Many of the store there are just normal stores so there are no outlet prices. It's a nice stop just to take a look and rest. Not really where I would go to do discount shopping. The Camarillo outlets are well worth a stop on your next visit to Cam. They have some great stores to browse for everyone in the family. The deals vary by store and season. They're open seven days a week. Hours have changed due to Covid, so see their website for stores and hours. There's also a food court and restaurants. I recommend Pick Up Stix, Ubatubai and Finney's. There's also a great Regal cinema for those who wish to catch a flick while others shop. read more

The in person location is OK. Sometimes I miss some of the stores which came and went like the Gucci popup. I wish I had purchased more. Sometimes the selection is good here. My backup was online, but unfortunately, I will no longer purchase online from Premium Outlets. After multiple shipping errors where I received wrong Items, I have learned my lesson. They are extremely difficult to deal with after having shifted to an online email resolution center. I ordered some down comforters which were supposed to be 60% down and received comforters which are actually only 10% down. The Camarillo Premium Outlets always end up being a stop whenever I've been out here to visit my cousin. It's simply a combination of the best deals I've seen (especially in the west coast) combined with the sheer number of factory outlet stores. Even in these inflationary times, you can easily find a steal. From Nike to Ted Baker to Lululemon, I was able to secure some great deals on my latest trip. It's also a great rainy day activity as the walking paths mostly shield you from the torrential rains. read more

This Simon Properties Outlet Mall has more high end stores than other outlets in the area, so is usually a good stopping point for us as we head up to Central Cali. It seems to have 3 distinct areas, and the signage to each one could be clearer. The benefit is that if you are a local and want to stop quickly at a particular store, it's easy to do. But for a visitor who wants to spend 2 - 3 hours just wandering to browse and look for bargains, the layout is not ideal. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon, and it was unexpectedly busy (for a non-holiday weekend). That being said, there really wasn't much going on, and the sales we found were mediocre. I really enjoyed my shopping experience here last Tuesday. Boy I have not shopped like this in a while. Hit about 15 stores, some longer than others. My favorite stores here are Jockey, Timberland, New Balance, North Face, Levis and some more. But I always discover something new when I come here. Easy free parking. Restrooms moderately clean. Most employees have a good attitude. Safe location--no homeless or crazy people walking behind you yelling things (I am from LA). My general Rule for shopping is this: If it is made it Egypt or Italy or USA I am willing to pay more for it. If it's made in China I try to avoid it or pay very little for it because it won't last. Vietnam, Bangladesh, India not bad--but you have to watch. It's so depressing to see what has happened to certain clothing lines over the years--some great quality ones now garbage due to outsourcing and poor manufacturing. I will address quality in some individual store reviews. Anyway, the mall is in 3 sections so you will get a lot of exercise in here--I did. read more

Two things. Next to the Starbucks in the mall is a single restroom for males and females. Unfortunately, my company has been staging a static car display here for the last three weeks and the bathroom lock continues not to function after repeated attempts with various employees to get it repaired. This shouldn't be happening. It's not Starbucks fault. Secondly at the same location. There's a four-way stop, but there only three stop signs posted and an empty pole on the fourth. It's been awhile since I have been to the Camarillo Outlets. The impact from Covid 19 was very evident. I have never seen so few people at the mall, as it's hugely popular. There is only one bathroom open , by the Food Court. There are currently no stroller rentals. I expected a lot of great sales, but that didn't happen either. None of the stores are allowing any merchandise to be tried on due to Covid 19. Hopefully next time we visit, things will be back to normal read more

This outlet has high end shops such as Gucci and Farragamo to mid level like Coach and Tory Burch and to mass shopping as the Nike, J Crews and Adidas. Even during COVID-19, this outlet is packed. We went this Saturday and found ourselves fighting the crowds. Shops like Lulu Lemon had lines that required 4 hour wait time while lines at Gucci was 1 hour long. Parkings were plenty at the outlet. I have heard of this outlet, however, I always thought it was extremely far away. I am happy to report it is only 60+ miles from Pasadena. If there is no traffic on the 101, it would only take about 1 hour. Since it is right off the freeway, it was very convenient as it is situated between LA and Santa Barbara. Before you start your day of shopping, stop by the information desk first to pick up your savings passport. It is normally $5. I got it for free by showing my AAA membership. You can also get it for free by check in with yelp. Currently, you can donate $10 to Susan Koman between April 14 to May 20 and save 25% off a single item. Also, they have military discount( May 1st until Dec 21). Look for patriotic star on their window to see participating retailers. You must show military ID. Also, I found out Forever 21 is not an outlet, but more of a regular store disguise in this plaza. Be smart and don't assume everything you see. Camarillo Outlets is a 30-minute drive from my house so I come here from time to time to shop. Sometimes, I come here during the summer months just to get away from the valley heat. Temperatures here are usually 10 degrees from the valley and you get a nice ocean breeze. This is a fairly large outlet with a lot of the popular brand stores that you will find at other popular outlets. You can find some great deals here from time to time. Parking can be a little difficult especially on the weekends and during the holidays but that shouldn't stop you from shopping here. read more

Get there before it opens to find parking! Generally, you can get some decent to a few great deals. They have different variety of stores. It still can't compare to the one in San Diego by the border though. They do have wifi, but good luck stay connected. AT&T and T-Mobile are spotty there. I've been coming here since the 1990s! So much has changed through the decades in terms of store selections. Parking can be challenging, especially on weekends. There's now a 3rd section with stores such as Ann Taylor Loft, Disney, New Balance, and etc. but the stores aren't fully occupied in that area and it might be faster to drive there since parking isn't an issue in that section. Sales and promotions happen often, but I find that during holidays, the mark-downs are better, even small holidays like Columbus Day (aka Indigenous Day.) During the Indigenous Day weekend, Kate Spade had additional 70% off of everything in the store. However, you may need to lower expectations as many of the merchandise is made for selling at the outlets only. Once in a blue moon, you may find something from the retail store in the outlet store. The food court has definitely improved since the 1990s! There are a lot of healthy options and different varieties of ethnic fast food options. Prices are fair.
