Cannoli ice cream with blueberry sauce!!! What?! This is single-handedly one of the BEST flavors of ice cream I've ever had in my life! I was so impressed. Tried this spot during Covid crisis. They were doing a good job with the precautions. I ordered 2 root beer floats ($5.00 @). They were constructed by a young man of maybe 14. He presented us with the saddest excuse for root beer floats ever. In an about 16 oz glasses there was a a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and what was probably 12 oz of warm root beer split between the two. With that, the glasses were about half full. When I commented to the young man, he said, "I could go get another can". He disappeared for a while and returned with another warm can. Adding it to the glass, the ice cream immediately melted and the whole mess was still not cold. The only other person visible was a high school girl, so I decided not to press the issue any further. It's wonderful that someone is giving these young folks work, but they could use some more experienced supervision. read more

Cute ice cream stand right downtown with many flavors so after walking around a bit on our first day in Camden we decided to walk up and end the day trying some local ice cream. Maybe we should have just skipped and drove back to our Airbnb for our supermarket blueberry ice cream in the freezer because both girls were on their phones most of the time and occasionally chatting with 2 boys hanging around outside the stand. The girls didn't pay any mind to us while we looked at the large menu or ask if we needed help. After a couple of minutes we decided on blueberry and strawberry in a waffle cone then placed our order with one of the girls. The 2 boys then left hanging out around the stand. While the other girl was still on her cell phone the whole time. When we wanted to pay it was like we disturbed her in some way and she didn't say anything other than the price. Not even a thank you. No smile. We paid turned around she went back to her cell and we walked to the nearby seating to enjoy our over priced, overly sweet, and mediocre ice cream. The next day we tried the other ice cream stand in town - hint hint - it has the word "Ducks" in its name and it's by a lovely foot bridge over the towns stream - what a huge difference with excellent service with a smile by a single girl running the stand alone and excellent ice cream at substantially less cost.
