Food was scrumptious and fresh. The people working the deli were prompt and tedious. Much to look at with local artisans, crafts, foods, etc. We enjoyed our lunch indoors, but you can eat outdoors or take it to-go. We had curried chicken salad wrap, the Italian sammie, pasta salad, dill potato salad and blueberry cheesecake--ALL GREAT! Noise from all the hustle and bustle might be overstimulating.

This is a 12 oz bottle of Dasani sold by this place. No other water available. Must buy another 12 oz plastic bottle to get more water.

65 bucks for three sandwiches and three drinks. Also no water available without buying plastic bottles. Can not get a cup of water.

Stopped here twice while staying nearby for a couple of nights about a month ago. Such a wonderful and friendly little shop. All the snacks, drinks, pastries, food, and gift ideas one would need for a little getaway! Wish we had something like this where we live!

The storefront is adorable with its red barn color and Victorian vibe, and inside you'll find cozy seating areas both indoors and outdoors, perfect for lingering a bit after shopping. The staff here are beyond friendly and helpful. In fact, this is the very place where the "blueberry pie survey" happened. We asked the lady behind the register where to find the best blueberry pie, and she started to ask customers who came by who they recommended. They directed us to Moody's Diner. Locals and staff alike are quick to share stories and recommendations, which makes it feel like you're part of the community even if you're just passing through. The store itself is full of surprises. They've got a wood-burning pizza oven (yes, in a general store, how cool is that?), hot lattes, teas, and other comforting drinks, because nothing beats sipping a latte in a Victorian-style shop while digging into a fresh out of the wood burning oven gooey cheesy slice of pizza. Add in their great selection of beer and wine, plus Maine classics like whoopie pies and Moxie soda, and you've got something for everyone. A local gentleman even gave me the full history of Moxie, and that kind of friendliness is exactly what makes this place so special. Outside, you'll find pretty flowers and herbs adding to the charm. Owen's is quaint, welcoming, and one of those stops that makes a Maine trip extra memorable. Definitely worth a visit or 5! I'll most def be going back!

Will never listen to a blog again. Clearly the blogger must have been friends with the owner because there's no way anyone in their right mind would recommend this place. We stopped by at 9 am on Saturday, 6/20/26. There was no line when we got there; immediately after, the line got super long, but moved quickly. The staff weren't too friendly. We got vanilla lattes ($6.75 + 90¢ for vanilla) which had 0 vanilla flavor. I got a quiche ($8.50 for a measly slice!! A crime!!). Quiche of the day was broccoli, cheddar, and onion. It was the literal worst quiche of my entire life. My husband got the yogurt + granola + honey ($7.95 + $1 for banana), which was fine, because it's pretty hard to mess up a parfait. $32 total (!!) for the worst breakfast ever. The rating is ridiculously inflated for this place. Wish we never had gone. Overinflated reviews, overinflated prices, underwhelming coffee and food.

The breakfast biscuit sandwich was THE BEST biscuit you will ever have the pleasure of enjoying. Granted, my opinion is that it was perfect for the sandwich, it wouldn't be dense enough for sausage gravy. It would have to be a topper rather than getting slathered if you know what I mean. I went lighter and got a blueberry scone which was equally as delicious just satisfying my sweet tooth vs his savory one that morning. Anyway, we loved it so much while we were eating I went back inside and grabbed two more scones - a blueberry and fig/almond for us to have the following morning for sunrise at Cadillac. Their lattes were also wonderful. I would shop here regularly if I was a local but for now the best I can do is rave about this place on the internet.

The prosciutto was tangy and satisfying on the roll with butter. The sandwich is made already, and by the register so you don't forget to pick one up. Let me also say that the potato salad was stellar--the dill was a nice touch. The cookies were fantastic as well. I normally don't go for little specialty stores, but this one was reasonably priced in every way. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Go there. You won't be sorry.
