Camden Cone is definitely worth stopping in if you're in Camden and craving something sweet. It's not just about dessert, it's about the whole experience it's the friendly service, the fun variety of flavors, the small size adds charm, and the quality is consistently good! Highly recommend stopping!

It's ice-cream and it's yummy. Cute little shop and lots of flavors. I had the single scoop of cherry ice-cream and the hubs tried peach and vanilla for his 2 scoops.

A great variety of very good ice cream. They have a very efficient and well thought out takeout process to deal with the current pandemic.

If you are looking for a affordable sweet treat after dinner or while enjoying a stroll in downtown. Great flavor combos. We got the eagle tracks and Rocky road something... both were great. It's a little hole in the wall but well worth the stop.

On my last day on vacation here in Camden, my wife and I decided to try this cute little hole-in-the-wall ice cream shop. Even with a line down the street, I got my ice cream within seconds! This was a dream in comparison to the other place we tried with the footbridge. The girls behind the counter were so friendly and enthusiastic; they helped my wife and I to decide which flavors to indulge in. We went for sea salt caramel and German chocolate- delicious!!! Gifford ice cream is always a treat to us New Englanders, and it was served with such bright smiles and friendliness, we will for sure be back! Great service, great ice cream, great location. This shop is a Maine staple for everyone!!

Cute little shop on a quieter back street. Delicious ice cream. Good portions! There are so many choices. I had the medium waffle cone, and could barely finish it and the two scoops of deliciousness. My husband had the scoop waffle bowl. Wow. Just wow

Their ice cream was so tasty, one of the most unique flavors I've ever tasted. Quick line, take credit cards.

Lovely little ice cream shop in idyllic downtown Camden. Get the blueberry ice cream while you're in Maine of course!

You would struggle to find a cafe or restaurant with a better view, as this looks out over a harbor that is basically what you'd picture in your head for being in Maine. The menu included buckwheat crepes both sweet and savory and some gelato, so I indulged and got a crepe with gelato on the side. Even the sweet crepes use a buckwheat base, which I liked. The earthy flavor makes a useful contrast with the sweetness. Their house caramel sauce was buttery and toasty in flavor and combined well with bananas, so say nothing of the smooth stracciatella gelato I mixed with it. I couldn't have asked for much more.

The reviews and mission at Freya's appeared promising, so I decided to give it a go, especially since the product is made in-house. Unfortunately for our group of four, there was only one flavor of gelato left an hour before closing time (and good for Freya's). My spouse went for that gelato--coffee--while the rest of our group went the sorbetto route. There were four flavors remaining: strawberry, passionfruit, guava, and lime + jasmine. I had tastes of everything, including the gelato. Sorbetto-wise, I was especially impressed with the strawberry, and the passionfruit was a close second. My only nit pick is that the guava was icier than the other three sorbettos, but the flavor was still punchy and refreshing. As for the gelato, it was European quality. Huzzah! I was so mad that I hadn't gone earlier in the day for more of a gelato selection. That taste of coffee really left a good impression. I'm thrilled to report that the folx at Freya's know what they're doing with their gelato and sorbettos. If you're snobby about your gelato, rest assure! You'll be really happy at Freya's.

You will find Italian, French, Brazilian, African tajine and of course a burger . We started with the house dip which is amazing red pepper served with beautifully roasted pita bread. The portions are huge so we decided to share the schnitzel. As expected, a huge serving. Perfectly cooked so the chicken was not dry but tender and the breading was crispy and crunchy. It had a honey mustard drizzle which I don't normally love but it worked here. We swapped the beer braced cabbage it comes with for the truffle fries which were incredible and so many even shared we could not finish them. Obviously hand cut and fried here. The flourless cake served with raspberries and cream was excellent also. Truly fine dining experience with a very well thought out and executed menu
