Camel moving is the best moving experience I have had ever had. They have handled four moves for me. Two of moves were very difficult with bad weather and a tight schedules to complete, as well as delicate antiques , furniture and art work not to mention a piano that had to go to a second floor location.The packing was beyond any moving company I have ever used in the past.All items arrived in perfect condition. The crew was very polite, helpful and willing to help with any special requests. Getting the piano to a difficult location was not a problem and not a scratch. In another move carefully getting a large safe down a steep outdoor staircase was done without a hitch in a sleet storm. Again not even a scratch to surrounding wood work or the safe. Sending off all your valuables and items of sentimental value with strangers can be a worry but this company will go above an beyond to make your move less stressful. One thing that is different about this company is that the Owner is on every job, something you don't see with the big national companies. They may not be the least expensive mover but if you want a job done right with no damage to your items this is your Company. read more

I have moved three times in the last two years, including internationally. Crocket, who runs Camel Moving, has been the best mover I have met. All of his guys seem to take equal care in wrapping fragile items, and delivering them safely to you. In our new place, they laid the rugs out before placing furniture and handled all of our things with care. I especially appreciated his quick reply to my first phone call, as I was on a tight time frame. He gave me an estimate on the spot that was $1,000 less than the big van lines, and accommodated my schedule, even though it involved a pick up at a second location. He even called the day after to be sure everything was okay. Crockett is a bit of a character, but a really nice guy. Don't let his demeanor fool you, however, because every aspect of this move was completely professional. I would use him again and recommend him highly without hesitation. read more

I didn't even realize how much junk I had until we started this move and his prices were sooooo much better than anywhere else we were quoted. My passion is art and they moved everything in my studio so wonderfully, from paintings to sculptures to glass pieces, nothing was broken, scratched, ding, anything. To say I was impressed is an understatement, I cant even move my own art without breaking something! The amount of detail they put in to everything was amazing. Of course on moving day it decided to pour, but it didn't even phase them. They had guys inside and guys outside so they didn't track mud and crap all over either house. In searching for a "local" mover (in west stockbridge ma) for a simple, "atypical" ask, I contacted the 1st 10 or so google provided.. and all said they don't actually serve the area AND had high minimums. Camel Moving was the best moving company I've ever used! Moving is such a stressful time for anyone and Crockett and his team made it so easy for me. The packed everything beautifully, they moved everything without issue, and unpacked it all in just a few days. Id use them again in a heartbeat. I'm not sure what that other lady is talking about, I had no issues with anyone on Crockett's crew or him himself. I definitely don't think anyone was on drugs, I have a lot of art and furniture moved without a problem, not a ding or scratch anywhere, I think someone on drugs might not be as careful with my things. The owner is a sketchy ole hippy. His trucks look like they belong in a junk yard, rather then driving down the road with your beloved family heirlooms. The workers he brought stunk of alcohol and marijuana. One worker I swear was on cocaine or crack, great if you wanna get things moved really fast. I DNT know if I'd ever have these druggy hippy wackos move me. When they roll up in there junk mobile better to call Arnoff or a real outfit then these freaks. After the move my silver came up "missing" along with a valueble coin collection! When I went to authorities I then found out the owner Crocket was a level 3 sex offender, wow!
