I stayed at Camelback Resort last weekend, and unfortunately, I don't think I would ever come back. First, I don't understand the purpose of charging hotel guests for parking. I could understand a parking fee for day visitors, but charging overnight guests $25 per night is excessive--especially when you're expected to shovel your own car out after it snows. If someone stays more than a few days, that cost becomes ridiculous. Second, they provide a number to text for guest needs, but it's completely unreliable. We requested toilet paper and reported an issue with our toilet multiple times through text and by calling the front desk. No one ever came. That level of customer service is unacceptable. The breakfast price was also shocking--$35 per person is wild. Lastly, the snow tubing experience was frustrating. I called and was told I had to book online, but every time I selected a time slot, the price would jump within seconds. I watched it go from $64 to $96 almost instantly. When I went to concierge/customer service, they told me it was sold out without even checking. Meanwhile, tickets were clearly still showing available online. Because of the confusion and lack of help, I skipped snow tubing altogether. Overall, the hotel is aesthetically nice, but that's where the positives end. We have gone to Kalahari past 3 years for the 4th which has been excellent. This year we decided to try camelback for the first time. We arrived 7/2 at 8:30 at night. One person working and took an hour to check in and room was not available. They did upgrade us with a balcony which turned out good. While checking in they said to fill out a waiver and both parks are included with our stay. Next day we went to outdoor park when it opened and were charged $95 for two ppl that came as a shock. We had to purchase online which website was down and had to call to resolve. Took an hour and then had to wait in line as a result to get in finally. We were told our stay did not include both parks when talking to customer service and have to click a certain link on website to get the correct rate which includes both mind you it was already expensive to stay this weekend. They charge $27 a day to park which is not appealing to nickel and dime ppl more. Our room was not cleaned all day and due to place fully booked we were told there was nothing they can do. Our towels got changed out at 8PM and that was it. Food also was subpar at best and below average. Limited places on property to eat and close early on weekdays in summer which 10 or after nothing open. I know people highly recommend this resort which is why we chose to try it out. Needless to say, we had bad service, food, and poorly accommodated for our troubles. This place may be better on an off holiday weekend. Since this is all I can go off I would not recommend this place and advise to look elsewhere before booking..as it was a big letdown and not worth the money spent. read more

A lot of potential, but limited by either inadequate staffing or poor management over site. What they sell in the advertising is family fun & enjoyment, however, at many steps along the vacation journey, they fail to execute on basic customer focus areas that prevent that enjoyment. Bell service is jammed up upon checkin and no self service bell cars are made available. Checkin is slow, and although friendly, could be helped with self service kiosks. The adventure center is by far the worst. They do not let you book in advance, instead you must book the day of, and they say they open at 8am, but during our stay, they opened at 8:40 and 9:15am without notice, and we missed hours of activities at the mountain, including lessons. This could be avoided with self service kiosks and/ or allowing to book a day in advance , especially knowing you are having staffing issues due to weather. Just these sandal tweaks change what would be a 4 or 5 star experience into a 1, 2 or 3. I hope others have a better experience. read more

"Great fireworks, but poor planning every year..." My family and I were excited to attend the Camelback Resort fireworks show this year, but unfortunately, a few major issues really impacted our experience: 1. Fireworks Started Too Late The show didn't begin until 9:38 PM, even though many guests (including us) were expecting a start time closer to 9:15 PM. Families with young children were getting restless, unsure if the show was still happening. A clearer schedule and punctual start time would go a long way. 2. Nightmare Traffic After the Show Once the fireworks ended, it was absolute chaos. We were stuck in the parking lot standstill for over an hour trying to exit. No traffic direction, no staff guiding cars, just gridlock. It really ruined the end of an otherwise fun night. 3. Wi-Fi Issues in the Parking Lot Every year, people struggle to connect to the resort's Wi-Fi during the fireworks event, especially in the parking area. Guests trying to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for directions couldn't connect, as the network either has no open access or denies devices. 4. Poor Cellular Service To make matters worse, cell signal was weak (just 2 bars), making it nearly impossible to navigate or communicate. Many people were stuck with no signal, which is both frustrating and unsafe during a crowded exit. Suggestions for Improvement: Start the fireworks at 9:15 PM sharp and clearly advertise the time. Hire traffic staff or police detail to manage the exit flow more efficiently. Open Wi-Fi access in the parking lot--especially during large events. Allow seamless Wi-Fi login without password or requiring sign-in. Boost cellular coverage or install temporary mobile towers (5G boosters) during high-traffic events like July 4th. We love Camelback, but these recurring issues need attention. With better planning, this could be a top-tier family experience instead of a stressful one. read more

I am scared for my children's and my family's lives after staying at this AWFUL facility. When we checked in there was a burnt smoke smell in the room. They brought up an ozone generator and left it on for over 12 hours. When someone came back to get it they confirmed we never should have slept in that room while it was running. My son and myself woke up headaches, throat, nose irritation, shortness of breath, chest pain. My daughter and niece were also affected but not as much because my son and I actually slept in the area of the machine. This place is disgusting and this never should have happened, half the staff is incompetent, and the manager did nothing said maybe they will call back in 24 hours and now we have to spend time in a hospital to get treatment. I truly can't believe how horrible this place was. Aquatopia was filthy, vending machines and ice machines didn't work on multiple floors. Attempting to celebrate my daughter's birthday and ending up with illness was not in the plans. Even worse they take over 30 minutes to even answer the phone. Run away from this place. And definitely don't ever let them put an ozone generator in your room while your family is occupying it or hours after. read more

Extremely overcrowded during Presidents' Day week. Resort parking lot was completely packed. Had to circle around for quite a while. Many were making up their own parking spots. Check in was delightful and quick. Water park is fantastic for young kids. The wave pool had a couple of floating bandaids and hair floating around. Dinner at the bar and grill were completely packed and did not accept guests without reservations. We had no choice but to go to the very sad buffet. The tables at the buffet were banged up. Service was great but the food was very poor. The best thing they had was probably the prime rib, but the lady serving would give the tiniest sliver of meat, probably smaller than the size of my palms. She gave me a weird look when I asked for another piece. I assume management was responsible for the portion size. The seafood and oysters looked pretty gross. All this for a mere $60pp. On ski day, ski lessons were all sold out. Their kiosk system was down, no one was able to print lift tickets, so there was a long line outside guest services, who couldn't do anything about it. Lunch came around. Only one of the two food trucks were open. The taco truck did not serve tacos. They had two items in the menu, taquitos and empanadas. The empanadas were not available. The self serve food area had three options - salad, burger, chicken fingers. If you didn't want any of that, you're out of luck. read more

Dear Camelback Resort, I am young, and have never written a review before, however, this resort was absolutely horrendous to the point that I felt obligated to leave a review. Came here at 4 o'clock- which is when they told us to come here, but we were sent back to wait 2 and a half hours in our car (where we had to fight for a parking spot because there's only 100 spots in a 1000 person resort.) We waited all that time for our room to be cleaned, only to come in and be met with kids squishy toys scattered around the room, and a huge red wine stain in front of the refrigerator. Clearly, there used to be a clothes line across the shower- which was removed, and the holes were patched with silicone- which is disgusting, lazy, and overall very disappointing. There was mold in our sink. The food was atrociously overpriced. We ordered from a nearby fast food restaurant, and went downstairs to grab the food and saw 5-10 cops and a woman who seemed to have been robbed. One of the beds had no sheet, and the blanket was ripped. Teenagers having a loud party, door wide open, alcohol open. It's chaos here. Aquatopia had good rides- However, it was FILTHY. The hot tub smelt like diapers. The waterpark didn't have that chlorine waterpark smell. The staff are all teenagers so they don't check wristbands or follow any form of safety precautions. Litter floating around in every body of water. Arcade had underwear on the machines. The people here are disrespectful. I got hit in the face at the lazy river. There was a turd on the floor of the waterpark. Multiple broken stairs. "Surprise" fees. This has to be one of the most hazardous parks ever. If I could rate negatives I 110% would. Honestly, this was one of the worst resort experiences I've ever had. From the moment we checked in, the guy at the front desk with glasses was super rude and didn't even bother with a simple hello...He just told me to hold on while he was on his computer for a good minute , then he just kept repeating "ID and credit card" over and over. Not exactly the welcome you'd expect. I had to ask a few times for a pack-and-play for my 8 month old before they finally brought one. The ice machine on our floor was broken the whole stay, and instead of fixing it, they just told us "oh just go to another floor, we have more on each floor" which they even said to a disabled guest of mine. Housekeeping wasn't much better -- more interested in being on their phones than actually cleaning. The waterpark bathrooms were disgusting (literally poop on the floors), and the smell was awful. Lifeguards seemed rude and distracted, which honestly feels dangerous. The lazy river was not organized people swimming in the water instead of on floaties or flipping over the floaties they where on. On top of that, a lot of the rides were closed for no reason and sometimes shut down before the 9 pm closing time. The swim-up bar staff weren't friendly either, no greeting, just "ID" and if you didn't have it, you were brushed off. Definitely not a "resort vibe." The outdoor waterpark was closed the whole week, and when I asked why, they said it was "too cold" but somehow it was magically supposed to open on Saturday, even though it was colder then. Doesn't add up. To make it worse, when we checked out early (because the trip was such a letdown) and explained why, the staff just shrugged and said, "You should've told us." Told them what? To magically open the waterpark or fix the service? It was clear they didn't care. For the price and the so-called "resort fee," this place is a joke. I've been to real resorts, and this doesn't come close. Everything is overpriced, dirty, and poorly run. Honestly, the good reviews must be from people getting some kind of perk because the pictures online do NOT match reality. Save your money and go somewhere else. Losing a whole night on top of everything else we endured honestly makes the whole experience feel like a whole scam and waste. After paying so much already, it's unacceptable to be charged for something we didn't even use....,So instead of making it right by us I got an email today with extra charges $$$$ , yes that's right this place tried to charge us more on top of everything what a horror of a place ! I cannot begin to tell you how awful this place is. From the beginning making reservations for ski school for my grandkids to the actual ski slopes and every detail from start to finish that this is NOt the place to come. The traffic and parking is a nightmare, the food is barely edible. The place is dirty and there is no one cleaning bathrooms or keeping the cafeteria clean. No one is around to answer questions for help direct traffic. Ski lifts and magic carpets weren't working and barely any ski lifts were operating. To top it all off it was MLK holiday weekend and they were not prepared for the crowds that swarmed the resort. My family and I will never ever recommend or come back to this place. It was awful. Slow day. No long lines. Even though previous reviews were mixed. Today was a great day. No long wait to the conveyor belt. Definitely maximize my two hours. It didn't felt like it was that long. We went ten times today. Staff was very nice from the parking attendant (didn't know that I had to pay $12 for parking), to the snow tubing area and Keira (phone customer service)helped me with explaining the policy when making an appointment. We have seen walk-ins but since it was slow, they were able to accommodate walk-in customers. I would return on a weekday and had that winter advisory happening (smile). HORRIBLE Experience - Special Needs Families, Stay Away! My recent stay at Camelback was absolutely awful and deeply upsetting as a mother of a child with autism and medical needs. From the moment I checked in, I was treated with rudeness, ignorance, and complete lack of compassion. The woman at check-in, Lala, claimed to be a supervisor but treated me like a burden. I booked a room that clearly sleeps six people, yet she refused to give me six wristbands and told me I'd need to pay $50 for extras. When I explained my situation, she dismissed me and sarcastically told me to "talk to the fire marshal." Her tone was condescending, like I didn't understand basic policy, and she made me feel small and disrespected. I also had requested accommodations for my son, who takes seizure medication that must be refrigerated. I never received a check-in message, and my son's medication was at risk. When I asked for help, the staff was cold and unhelpful. Eventually, another front desk agent (not Lala) had no issue giving me the rest of the wristbands, which proved how unnecessarily cruel Lala was being. Even worse, when my sister went to speak to staff because I was visibly upset, someone told her that they were "on the lookout for me and my party." What does that even mean? My "party" includes a special needs child. That comment was offensive, discriminatory, and completely out of line. Lala continued her unprofessional behavior at checkout--secretly charging me $75 because I got my room 30 minutes early. I only accepted the early check-in to refrigerate my son's seizure medication! She refused to remove the charge until I told her I was contacting my credit card company for fraud. Disgusting. I am a special needs mom. I deserve better. My son deserves better. No family should ever be treated this way. I will never return to Camelback. I'll continue to go to Great Wolf Lodge, where staff are trained, kind, and inclusive. Aside from all of the absolute horrific issues I listed prior, they have also failed to refund the room hold which was supposed to be a temporary hold. I spent one evening in the room with my little girl and have been waiting for the hold to be refunded for almost two weeks now. I've called, emailed and left several messages with their billing team! This resort is a complete disaster, failure and has the absolute worst customer service I've ever witnessed. This has been the most expensive disaster imaginable! $1000 for two nights hotel stay only to have them not enter guests information so that we could book activities for everyone. This caused prices to skyrocket when their Resort Adventure center opened the next day. On top of that you had men and adults physically fighting in the kiddie pool in the Aquatopia area. Spent another hour just waiting while the staff entered, re-entered and entered again our information only for the information NOt to be saved even after it was paid for at a 3x time premium than what it should've been the day before! Staff were curt and condescending even though other people were screaming and upset while I tried to remain as composed as possible. This was a crap show to say the least after spending $2500 for nights! Paid $63 each for 5 people to go snow tubing from 12-2 only for the escalator to break down. Keep in mind you have only 2 hours and each run is between 30-40 minutes, so IF you get to go the full 2 hours you only get 3-4 runs down the slope! We got 1 and then were 1/2 way up before it broke down. We were able to climb up the rest, but had 3 children under 7 and the tubes are NOT lightweight especially the double ones. One of our children is disabled, so this meant we couldn't go anymore! Extreme waste! Went back to the pool only to have a lifeguard try and walk off with my cell phone that was on a chair under our stuff right outside the kiddy pool. I rushed out and confronted her only for her to basically shove it back at me and walk away! This place is ridiculous! Worse than any cheap hotel on the Las Vegas Strip! I arrived to the resort in PA and my room was not clean. The bed had hair on it ( straight black dog hair). And a big brown wet spot on the bed lining. I requested a room cleaning and described my room and house keeping came in to remove the lining and remake the one bed not the whole room. Once we returned from the water park, we noticed brown and white crusty marks on the thick blanket. I removed it from my 10 year old's hands and call housekeeping and ask to speak to a representative not AI. After holding, a person greeted me and said let me get the manager--only to hang up on me. I walked to the front desk and explained the situation. The young lady listen said she was sorry and what could she do. I told her I would like the room properly cleaned and she said I can put the order in but not now. I said I am disappointed and it's my son's birthday and I'm celebrating with family. She told me the managers were too busy with another situation and the housekeeping manager will call me when she can fully clean my room. We just came back from a 2-day getaway with my husband and two boys. It was a sh*t show from the start! It took way too long to get our room. We purposely left later so we would arrive at 4pm and not have to wait for our room. We got there at 4:30 and waited on line for over 30 minutes to even check in. Then, to be told our room wasn't ready yet. We waited until 8pm before we complained, and that's when we finally got a room (never received a text). When we got to the room, there was some sort of cake icing smeared along the floor in the corner (about a foot long) and there was some on the side of the bed. The lotion pump wasn't working and the safe was locked while open so someone had to come to repair/fix those issues. Also, there was an issue with the bathroom door where it never closed properly. We had to use toilet paper to lodge in between the door and the frame so the door would stay closed! Very irritating. Then, when visiting the waterpark the next day, the water was very cloudy and that was first thing in the morning. I would understand at the end of the day that may happen, but first thing in the morning?? The only saving grace was the preordered breakfast at Hemisphere. It was a nice cost-saving deal and the food was pretty good. But unfortunately, I will not be going back to the resort. I should've checked their ratings first! read more

Decided to pull my kids out of school and come from Thursday to Saturday and I am so glad we did that!!! We arrived on Thursday Oct 11 and the resort was EMPTY! It was so perfect. Parking is self parking or they also offer valet service. We checked in at 4 and arrived to the water park at 5. There was literally no one there. We walked onto every slide. The wave pool and lazy river were empty - it was a dream. The waterpark needs some maintenance/updating it looked run down. However everything was maintained very clean.The burger place inside of the waterpark served a decent pizza and chicken burger. They also have a refillable souvenir cup for $12. The waterpark has showers and changing rooms. Best thing we did was pay for the bed and breakfast - totally worth it. We ate breakfast at the buffet restaurant Hemisphere located in the lobby. They had everything you could possibly want for breakfast not to mention the best pancakes I think I've ever had! If you don't do the bed and breakfast option when you book then the breakfast here will run you at about $25 per adult and $20 per child. At night the only restaurant that's opened late is trails end or the graffiti restaurant in the arcade if not you'll have to leave the resort and find something local. Trails end was delicious I recommend grabbing dinner there. We also had dinner at Berrelli's- an Italian restaurant. Loved that we visited this resort during the month of October the weather was perfect. We did the mountain coaster. 2 adults and 2 kids with the hotel discount was $50. Purchase in person not on the website so you can get the deal. Mountain coaster was so much fun- be sure to wear closed toe shoes. Outdoors they offered many fall activities - only on the weekends- pumpkin carving, mini golf. I was disappointed in the ATVs you have to be 5"2 to be a passenger so my kids couldn't get on. We checked out on Saturday - we asked for an extra hour until 12 and they declined so check out was at 11am. On Saturday the resort was filled with ppl so glad we were checking out the breakfast was packed. The had a cute donut decorating station in the lobby. The arcade was also pretty cool my kids enjoyed playing there as well. Overall I do recommend coming here - I would like to return especially to ski. PUTTING PUBLIC SAFETY AT RISK on multiple levels.  Complete failure to keep the patrons safe on a busy holiday weekend is unconscionable.  Management should be held directly responsible for their negligence. 3-5 hours of gridlock traffic in both directions with no shoulder for first responders should be criminal. No exaggeration, this is what people trying to get IN AND OUT experienced this past MLK weekend 2026. There is a simple recipe that other "resorts" follow; limit lift tickets, OR require advance parking passes for access. The infrastructure of this ski town and the actual ski hill cannot  handle half of the amount of cars and people that were granted lift tickets for MLK weekend. By the looks of it there was no capacity limit set which put the public in direct danger. I am sure the senior mountain operations team will try to blame the weather for poor road conditions. It is a ski town, poor driving conditions should be expected! Proper planning on their behalf would have limited the amount of travelers coming in and out. No strangers to skiing resorts nationwide on MKL weekend, we have never seen a "resort" oversell without the means to control the chaos happening both on and off the "mountain." Lift lines are expected during peak times; the problem here is that this hill is not large enough to accommodate the amount of tickets sold. Once up on the hill, multiple crashes were inevitable as you came down. Shoulder to shoulder on ski runs is a recipe for disaster; and a disaster it was! Unless there was a helicopter you were not making it off the property for 3-5 hours. Your safety on their hill is not a priority, profiting clearly is. Provisioning was scarce as the food and beverage team could not keep up with the demand.  On Sunday, they actually RAN OUT OF FOOD! This caused heated arguments as hungry skiers tried to find something to eat...remember getting in and out of the resort to eat off site was not possible due traffic. Don't forget you had 3-5 hours of stand still traffic getting off site after your day on the hill...better have a snack bag in the car! The senior mountain operations team at Camelback Resort should take full responsibility for putting the public at risk to directly benefit their bottom line. There are so many other options when choosing to ski. Take it from the TENS of THOUSANDS that were purposely put in a dangerous situation without their knowledge and give your money to another resort that cares about YOU and your safety. Had I known that my family would be cut off from first responders due to the negligence of resort suits Camelback would never have earned my trust. read more

We booked a room weeks in advance. Once we arrived we had to wait 6 hours to learn a room was not available. We were treated poorly by security. And given the large crowd during Spring break, we had to cancel our reservation. I would have given zero stars if it were available. My recommendation is to avoid this resort during peak periods. read more

I am currently still at the indoor water park as I'm writing this review. I came here for Father's Day with my (almost) two year old and his father. Came in around 8:30 to our room not being ready? It is now 11:30 at night and a pile of people who have been here between opening to now closing haven't had their room ready. Apparently they are understaffed and people are quitting their job left and right. Horrible service. We had to sit on the floor half of the time because there was no room nor any extra seating, I've also seen other families sitting on the floor. The what looked like a supervisor or a manager was extremely rude, dismissive and entitled. There was a long period of time were there was a still, a pile of people waiting for their rooms and a huge line at the front and the people inside bailed to the back. What sissys. I am only writing about the Aquatopia water park, because that's where I visited and didn't stay at the resort. They have a strict no outside food policy, which is unfair to those who have food allergies or other issues and the water park only has one concession area with typical burger/sad looking pizza/ fried everything type of menu. Luckily they were kind enough to understand we had 70 students who all brought lunch from home and gave us an area to have lunch before entering the park. It was not too crowded on a Friday afternoon but it was also July . The water looked very clean and the staff working was attentive and friendly. The kids loved the rides and the wave pool/hot tub area. I don't "do" indoor water parks with my own family but this is a nice alternative for the colder months (it was very humid in there!). read more

We checked in at 3:00 like we're supposed to and they said a slight delay, "give us a half hour" no big deal. 4 hours later, still no room and a manager then told us maybe "a half hour" we heard that before so went to Best Western who accommodated us. Their website charged me twice but never completed my purchase. I've called 5 times, emailed twice and chatted with live agent. All calls end up going to a voicemail where no one returns my call. All emails never returned and live chat told me to call or email. The worst experience. I'll now have to dispute all charges via credit card company. Horrible customer service. read more

We had an amazing stay. The kids really enjoyed so much. I did have an issue with the website upon booking so had to call. Kelly was great, very friendly. We opted for the king premier suite with balcony and it was gorgeous. Clean rooms. Beautiful view. We were on the 6th floor and didn't even have to ask (I prefer higher rooms!) We arrived at 1230 pm and did our precheck in at the desk. Fortunately, our room was ready but in the event your room isn't ready you can use the Waterpark so make sure you have your swim stuff easily accessible. Check in is 4 pm. They'll text you your room info when it is ready. The food was mediocre and expensive (we didn't come for the food so no biggie) the service was friendly, kind, fast, efficient no complaints & makes up for the prices. I've come to the realization at this point in my life with travel that resort prices can be very expensive and don't set expectations too high, particularly with family resorts. Parking is $25/night with $45 for valet. There is loading/unloading parking for 15 min. read more

Camelback Resort is overpriced for what you get. You're essentially paying for a basic hotel room and waterpark--no free parking, no continental breakfast, and on top of that, they tack on taxes and a resort fee that alone cost as much as a basic hotel night elsewhere. The real nightmare, though, was customer service. I was incorrectly charged in December and spent hours on the phone with reservation agents who couldn't help. When I tried to contact billing, no one answered--four voicemails over eight days went ignored, and multiple emails over 14 days were never responded to. Even trying their direct number and internal phone system led nowhere. On top of that, when I added a day to my reservation, they somehow deleted my last night instead--which nearly left us without a room on a busy weekend. It took multiple calls to fix it, and while an agent eventually upgraded us and honored our original price, it was the bare minimum given all the hassle. Snow tubing was another disappointment. Last year, it sold out, so I planned ahead and paid $89 per person for tickets--only to find out at check-in that hotel guests get a discounted rate of $71. Yet, no one could refund me the difference, and instead, I was given another email address that--unsurprisingly--no one has responded to. With eight tickets purchased, that's a huge overcharge that should be refunded. Overall, the resort lacks customer service, is overpriced, and does little to resolve issues. For the money you spend, you'd expect a much smoother and more accommodating experience. Not worth it. read more

All the systems are terribly organized. They do dynamic pricing and so if you don't do your reservations way in advance, the price keeps going up. The website is so disorganized that it's impossible to figure out what you should pre-pay. I have never seen a resort as expensive as this one with so many complications. Parking is hard and expensive rentals are hard and expensive. The shuttle seems to work well. read more

Where do I even begin. The alarm went off in the middle of the night. The food is soooooo expensive (and not good). Snow tubing line was long but snow tubing was fun. They are also very understaffed and it showed. I must say though enjoy skiing and the breakfast buffet. The water park was humid. The ski lift lines were very long And the magic carpet broke down. Food and food options were atrocious at the aquatopia/waterpark/snowtubing lodge. The buffets food was dried out and flavorless; dinner was horrible and breakfast wasn't any better. Meal package WAS NOT worth it. Coffee was so bitter we couldn't even drink it with lots of sugar. Burgers in the waterpark were suspiciously heavily seasoned, like the beef wasn't fresh. Fries tasted like styrofoam with salt. Pizza downstairs at graffiti was edible, but not great. No 24 hour options. No wonder why we saw people getting DoorDash. The coffee bar in the lobby was the only thing that tasted decent, however, twice we waited for food/our order and we got forgotten. Not once but twice. And one morning other guests just cut the line and ordered as we were about to order and the staff said nothing. We tried to extend our stay by one night due to heavy snow and a bad storm with travel restrictions on the highway and they were sold out of rooms. No help finding alternate accommodations. We were told to just hang out at the waterpark; with no overnight help. Yet the staff there were talking in the halls saying how they 'scored a nice room' leaving guests with no options to get home stranded. Staff could have been more accommodating and friendly; lots of young adult/older teens as staff and it was obvious they don't have great customer service and/or communication skills. Guests also staying there were loud and rude, even past midnight. Walls were paper thin, rooms didn't hold temperature, and bathrooms were small and very cold. Beds and pull out couches were not comfortable either. Very disappointing as camelback is a decent mountain to ski/board. Stay at a close by hotel or private rental.. much cheaper and you won't wind up with frustrated with a headache. read more
