When drinks are this cheap... it's always at least a 3.5 star spot. The beers I got were about 7 dollars a pint. Not too shabby. I'll round up and give this spot four stars because it was a chill vibe. Really no thrills or frills with this place. You get what you see. Earlier in the day around 5pm it was mostly middle aged country lovin folxs. But when we returned around 10pm on a Saturday night it became much more diverse. There was karaoke playing at night as well. There are two pool tables too. Inside can feel packed with 40 people in there. There are a few seats inside at the bar and then tucked away in the corner and so if you want to sit with a large group your best bet is outside on the patio. You can still hear the music. Such a great place to go when you wanna have a quick and easy getaway in the middle of the day -- their food is so much better than you would expect, way more "grill" than "bar". JoJo knows what he's doing when it comes to their menu and it never disappoints. The bartenders are fabulous -- we love Patti and LoLo and Anthony and Ashley and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone else. We've only had one bartender who was a bit distracted and dismissive due to her boyfriend (current or potential or maybe even ex?) being there but a 90% success rate for sure. The clientele is a mixed bag, usually nice and mellow but we were recently too close to four guests in their 70s very loudly arguing politics and broken hearts. But it's a bar at its core and without some entertaining guests, it wouldn't be as fascinating there! read more

On the good side they still have good bands now and then like "Emergency Exit" Tonight Exit was the best game in town. Keeping the crowd motivated and partying. As for the food not much on the menu for me to be interested in. Tried the Jalapeño Poppers. Sadly not that good. Also tried the Potato Skins. They were amazingly good. I would have them again. We were all sad to see they don't serve The Amazing Shrimp Mac & Cheese any longer. It was probably the best dish ever on the menu. Is was always the favorite of all my friends who like me don't make it a point to come here for dinner any longer. So that's two things that shouldn't have changed. My husband and I have been here several times for a quick dinner and drinks. Depending on how busy they are, the service can vary. All of the staff we've encountered are very friendly and helpful, but I think that they can benefit from having more front house staff. The food menu is very well priced and I also encourage people to check the specials menu. Portion size is also fairly large considering the prices, which is a great bonus! The crowd here is very casual and sometimes the live music/karaoke can be fun to watch. There's a good selection of beers on tap and a full bar available. We really wanted to like it more. We didn't. To be fair it was better than okay, but not great. A friend's band was playing on Saturday afternoon at Camel's Bar and Grill so we decided to check it out. Camel's has live music every Saturday from 4:00 - 7:00. We did appreciate the early hours for live music. We're getting too old for those 9:30 - 10:00 start times! There were three of us and we found three spots at the bar. Initially service was prompt from the two ladies working behind the bar. They were friendly, cute and funny, but the prompt service ended after drink #1. Too often we sat with empty drink glasses in front of us. The ladies would pass by us without even an acknowledgment. Did I mention we were right at the bar? Right in f r o n t of them. For drink #'s 2, 3, and 4 we had to flag them down to get service. Did I mention right in f r o n t of them? They would pass by us multiple times as we sat with empty drinks. Frustrating to say the least. We placed an order for the potato skins. The skins came out of the kitchen piping hot and it was a sizeable portion. We were given two plates and zero silverware with the skins. She didn't even ask if we needed anything else. She just set the plate down and continued on. Two plates despite us being a party of three. When we were finally able to flag her down for silverware she brought us - wait for it - two sets. Despite us being a party of three! WTF? I guess one of us was invisible that day. I don't know if we'd return. The place itself was alright, I could see it as being a cool little bar. The potato skins were quite good and the rest of the menu looked good as well. The service though, grrrr! So frustrating! And it sucked extra because the two young ladies were very nice...when we could get their attention, which was not very often. read more

For a Dive Bar this is a great local spot. But let me re iterate- this is a DIVE BAR! They have a great outdoor patio where they ask smokers and non smokers to separate, they also allow 18+ on the patio until 8pm because they serve food. During the summer I do recommend some bug spray because this place is known for mosquitoes because of the local garden center and "river". We love to sit outside to enjoy watching folks bottom out at the dip. It's the best drinking game at Camel's Breath. Food is bar food, nothing to write home about but it will sober you up. This bar is a complete rip off!! We ordered 5 drinks and a couple of appetizers. Our bill was outrageous ($128). Each 12 ounce jack and Coke (doubles) were $19.50. I have never paid almost $20 for one drink. The bartender Kylee tried to justify it by saying that there were two shots in the glass. I'm 51 years old...I know what a double is. Normally you pay a few extra dollars for that extra shot-not twice as much as a single!! I will never return to this place again!! read more

FOOD: The Caesar was great, cold lettuce, cut small so it didn't get sloppy and flick dressing everywhere. Came with lemons and pepper, shaved parm and the dressing wasn't overly wet or skimpy. Fish and Chips were breaded nicely, flaky and crunchy but thick coating. Fresh moist fish and plenty of sauce options. The French fries were exactly like McDonalds fries when they are freshest. Not my personal preference but if you like McDonald's fries you'll love these ones. ATMOSPHERE: Came in midday on a weekday and it was 99% regulars. Kind of felt cliquey and weird since there was nowhere to sit at the bar. Also they are extremely loud. Minus one star for the smelly and dirty bathrooms and the noise level.
