Friendly staff. A reliable go to bar. Nice spot to meet up with friends. Not the largest space so my bf and I love it on the weekdays.

Let the girls shop!!!! I'll be fine.

Had a great time here. Great group of patrons and the bar tender was awesome to talk to. My buddy and I were waiting for the girls to finish their shopping so we came in and had a few drinks. Made the time pass quickly. We had beers and shots so very basic but the bar tender kept the drinks coming and it was a very nice bar. Lots of locals coming in with their pool cues but plenty of visitors like us, so it was a nice mix.

Another visit with Justin. Well worth the stop while pursuing a passport renewal. The man is super friendly and super helpful for all things Old Town. Food options are slim with chips, etc. Locals vibe and environment, which makes for a friendly locale.

It's a Bar, owner and employees are rude !! Stay a way especially if you're from out of town, they care for visitors!!

The owner and the employees are rude and don't appreciate out-of-towners so if you're from out of town visiting, Old Town don't bother stopping there don't waste your time!

Good vibes, good drinks..all that was missing was the hip hop n Latino music to get me moving and shaking the hips yet service was pretty good! Thank Old Town Saloon to remind me Johnny Cash is one of our good idols..THANK YOU

This is the perfect Pit Stop if you've been walking around old town all day and need a cold beer or cocktail Have a great selection of beer, tequila and mezcal. There are pool tables in the back if you feel like catching a quick game of billiards while you enjoy your beer, and they have a great patio in the back The bartender is always fast and friendly, if you tip them right he'll take good care of you.

I am honestly surprised I have not written a review for this place yet, I found this place in 2021…read more I bring visitors here all the time, and it has become my ultimate comfort food spot. I tend to keep it simple and order the same items every time. My go to is the crispy Brussels for $14 and the chicken sandwich for $16, and I usually rotate in the parmesan fries for $10. While they do offer other dishes that are worth trying, these favorites always keep me coming back. The service and ambiance are consistently great. It is located in Hillcrest, so the area is always lively, which adds to the overall experience. The energy, combined with the quality of the food, makes it a reliable choice whether I am dining with friends or hosting out of town guests. Parking can be a bit challenging, but that is typical for Hillcrest. I usually plan ahead and look for street parking nearby.

I love the vegetables for what they are and want sauce and seasoning to enhance them, not be the star of the show. Got the hot honey chicken and pork belly bao buns which were pretty good, nice and fluffy. Drinks wise, I got the blueberry bramble as well as the berries & cream (both vodka drinks). they were fantastic, so refreshing. Old fashioned was also top notch! server was wonderful and kind. the ambiance is amazing and is a great spot for a date or cozy evening with friends.

AMBIANCE Parking: Hillcrest area--street parking, might take a minute depending on the time. Seating: Multiple lounge-style areas--couches, chairs, even a pool table setup. Plenty of space to spread out and hang. Good for small groups Vibes: Welcome to the Hillcrest Gay-borhood. It's an eventful place from good eats to bars. This place leans heavy into that speakeasy / vintage lounge feel--dim lighting, moody atmosphere, and a slightly cinematic vibe. It almost feels like stepping into another era. DRINKS / EXPERIENCE They've got a solid selection of wine, beer, and cigars, and the humidor (cigar storage room) is stocked with a variety of options for different preferences. Even if you're not a cigar expert, the staff is known to help guide you toward something you'll actually enjoy--which makes it approachable for both beginners and regulars. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and knowledgeable. Rocky was pretty helpful. TL;DR OVERALL 4 Stars. Solid selections and pleasant vibes. I'm not into the cigar culture but it looks like a unique spot in San Diego. Great for a chill night out, especially if you're looking for something different from the usual bar scene. TIPS: * Take your time--this isn't a rush-through spot * Ask for recommendations if you're new to cigar

But as soon as i walked in, I knew I was in for a gem and it didn't disappoint. I had such a great experience at Cigar Cave! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel right at home. They were fun and totally added to the vibe of the place, even if they inserted themselves into our conversation. Their energy was part of some really dope vibes and good fun! The selection of cigars they recommended based on the flavor profiles we described was spot-on. They have hundreds of cigars as well. Close the door when you enter and exit to keep the cigars fresh. They also serve beer and wine in cool glasses, which was a nice touch. The place has a low-lit, smokey, and had an edgy vibe that just screams chill. The decor is really unique and adds to the overall ambiance. Plus, they'll even change the TV to whatever you want, so you can kick back and enjoy your time however you like. It's super comfy and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this spot to others but not too many because I want to make this part of my monthly routine. If you're in Hillcrest and want a laid-back, fun place to grab a cigar, this is it!
