Elena Novak was the PA & she was so wonderful! with her & Alex in the room they distracted me with friendly conversation so my procedure was over quickly. they both made sure i was comfortable & Elena gave me clear & easy verbal aftercare instructions. i do wish they gave your a physical summary and/or receipt but they said that would be emailed to me. when i made the appointment i was told i would receive an email where i could verify my appointment but i did not receive it. i literally just left the appointment so hopefully i'll receive something via email in the next couple days. i did verify my email & it is correct so that would be my only issue. what is more important though, is that i was taken care of & my medical issue has been addressed. all the staff here is great! my appointment took about an hour, maybe a little less. the young lady who checked me out/took my payment was also nice. thank you HK!

I have always found the practitioners to be very good at what they do and I've gotten good care from them. Their office and desk staff is a whole nuther story. 80% of the desk staff have been absolutely awful. Extremely rude and condescending. Some will go out of their way to spread their misery to others. I don't know why people this rude and unhappy, who seem to despise their jobs, would stay in a position where they have to interact with patients and customers every day. I also don't understand why Dr. Guide or whoever is in charge here would allow this behavior to continue consistently for years. Again, I said 80%, because they do have a couple people who are very nice, helpful and seem to care about their jobs. Also, the wait times are ridiculous. Out of all the appointments I've had there, not even one was remotely on time. You don't wait long in the reception area. They come get you and place you in an exam room. And then, nothing. It's not uncommon to sit there for 45 minutes to an hour before the doctor even walks in. Never an explanation or apology. Just SOP. Something is clearly wrong with scheduling or management. Patients have lives too. I really liked seeing Kendra, and stuck around because of her, but now that she is leaving this practice, I plan on looking elsewhere.

I paid 5k in treatments for minor acne scarring to have my skin completely ruined…read more I came to Dr. Darji with minor acne scarring and some active hormonal acne. I was very clear that I wanted to have my acne cleared before starting the treatments and she explicitly said that she is confident that they can treat the scarring with where my acne was at. I also told her that I was preparing for my upcoming wedding. She performed 2 rounds of v beam and fraxel laser on me. The first session went fine. After the second session I began developing large cystic bumps all over my face exactly 2 days after treatment. The acne has persisted ever since the treatment and it has been a full month. I am reading now that the most recent data is showing that fraxel should not be performed on active hormonal acne as it can worsen it... There were many red flags with this provider along the way; one time she came in the room and asked me how my spirolactone was going, which was a medication that I was not taking... maybe she was confusing me with another patient, but for such expensive treatments, you would expect your doctor to at least know what they prescribed to you. If you have hormonal acne DO NOT GO TO DR DARJI. She is not competent in hormonal acne treatment. I deeply wish I had left my skin alone, it was in such a better place before going to OC Derm and I wasted $5,000 between the treatments and the products she recommended. The most upsetting experience I have ever had with a provider. I will say, her assistant, Celeste, is an absolute rockstar and an amazing and very kind person to work with. The office manager was not; she was unfriendly and honestly a bit rude.

The detail that I get From him in the office changes my life.
