The scallops were dark in color and appeared as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. The catfish, which I specifically paid extra to upgrade, was dry, hard, and lacked the freshness I expected from a seafood restaurant. The lobster bisque was the biggest disappointment. It had an unusual, tangy taste and an extremely thick, cheese-like, marshmallow-gummy consistency. There was also very little lobster meat in the soup. Because the taste and appearance were concerning, especially with seafood, I ultimately decided not to risk eating it and threw the food away. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but spending $30 on food that I couldn't comfortably eat was extremely frustrating. To be fair, the customer service was excellent and the restaurant looked clean. Unfortunately, good service and a clean environment cannot make up for food quality this poor. I hope management takes this review seriously because the concept has potential, but the food I received was atrocious and nowhere near what I would consider fresh seafood.

Do not go to the grocery store hungry that's a general statement for all grocery stores, but particularly Wegmans. I was walking down the aisles planning in my head how big a sandwich I can make or should I go to the deli bar and have them make the sandwich. There's so many products to choose from such as bread, condiments, cheese produce, and a vegetable even my faux meats. Wegmans has their own brand of plant base meats. I can take all of the ingredients home and build it as big as I want and as sloppy as I want. It was just too much to consider but I'm glad I encountered Wegmans. The rice was tasty-I did add one packet of soy sauce and that was all I needed. The food stayed hot for a very long time, and my shrimp didn't get soggy before I arrived at my destination. I will return and try something different the next time. Give this spot a try, I think they need a little bit of Yelp help....
