PIZZA ! Yes - fresh, and with a thin crust like in Italy, and super delicious... MUST TRY the Pizza

If you're a local or just visiting, Camille's is one of the very best, not only for Gallup, but overall.... And, if you are traveling through, forget the highway fast food places and take an extra minute to drive into town, it will be worth it.....

Great stop to support a local business. So many menu options to choose from. I had the signature Grilled Chicken Pecan salad and Husband had a chicken Caesar wrap. The salad came in a branded bowl and looked so pretty. All ingredients were fresh and there was a good mix of Romain lettuce and toppings. Loved it. Order at the counter and grab a seat and enjoy the cafe atmosphere. Staff was great and tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. Loved this stop.

Friendly service here which is nice. The cashier messed up our order when we asked for no cheese but they happily remade our veggie sandwich. We also ordered avocado toast. The avocado toast was plain. The price is terrific at $5 for two pieces of toast but it's basically toast with mashed avocado. It's plain and needs something like red pepper flakes and olive oil drizzle. We added salt and pepper to ours and salsa which helped. The veggie panini was good.

Chicken salad that claims to be Bangkok Thai somehow

Well deserved 5 stars for the food! Everything fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive…read more I had the Vegetarian Plate with 3 felafel, 2 grape leaves, hummus and baba ganoush. Everything was delicious. My friend had a schwarma sandwich in pita, which she enjoyed. For dessert, the baklava was not homemade but they had 2 kinds of imported, and we tried both. They were tasty, though not crispy. The Turkish coffee was strong snd hot, not too spiced. Definitely eat here if local, and skip the chains!

Gallop New Mexico…read more Thank you for being so friendly! Right when we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a very friendly girl behind the counter. She asked if we would like to eat in or takeout. We chose to eat in. We were told to seat ourselves and then she brought us some silverware, rolled in a paper napkin and some water. The restaurant is clean, other than the floors that could use a good mop. The majority of the restaurant are booths with a few tables and chairs centered in the middle. I ordered the lentil soup with pita, and my husband ordered the chicken Shawarma sandwich. The lentil soup came out right away with a large pita. The lentil soup was hot in temperature butt did not have much flavor. It wasn't bad it just could use a bit more spice. I also prefer my lentil soup to have a bit more texture. The lentils seem to be more of a purée. The pita was extremely disappointing. It was more like a soft hardtack. Very dry. Very thin. No flavor. My husbands sandwich was fine. The chicken had good flavor, as did the sauce. But again the complaint is the pita. Too dry and flavorless. The french fries were slightly undercooked but had good flavor. Aria was our waitress. Very sweet and kind. She made our experience here. The service is quick and efficient. The food is appropriately sized. Overall, I would give this place 10 stars for Service of all their employees. I would give six stars for the soup. I would give Six stars for the sandwich and fries. And the pita bread gets a one. I hope they can find a new recipe for the pita and the overall stars would be much higher.

When we arrived at 6:30p the parking lot was packed - and on a Wednesday! We waited for about 20 minutes and then were seated. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which is served with warm baguette slices - perfection. For entrees we had the meatball linguine and the chicken Parmesan- meatballs are house- made and were so flavorful, chicken on the parm was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Entrees are served with a side salad and their ranch was to die for- so thick and creamy. For dessert we had the chocolate gelato, which was the cherry on top of the meal. Yum! The place stayed busy until we left around 8 - a big party was waiting to be sat. The staff are very hard workers - they were busting their butts all over the restaurant for the duration of our meal. Our server (we didn't get his name, unfortunately) was wonderful. Highly recommend, and if we're ever back in Gallup, we'll definitely grab another meal here!

We were served undercooked pizza--twice--and it completely ruined our dinner…read more On the very first bite, I could feel that the dough was sticky and raw. When I checked the pizza, it was clearly undercooked, so we sent it back. We expected it to come back properly cooked, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When the pizza was brought out the second time, it was still doughy and undercooked. I took photos of it, and they show multiple different slices--all of which had the same raw, gummy texture across the entire slice. This was not just one bad piece. Because of this, we didn't even get a chance to actually eat the pizza. That was our dinner, and we ended up leaving without being able to eat it. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager insisted it was "ranch sauce" and claimed the pizza was cooked thoroughly, which is simply not accurate based on both the texture and appearance. I was also told I was the only person to complain, as if that somehow made the issue invalid. Regardless, we were served undercooked food--twice. They offered a $5 discount on a $21 pizza that we couldn't even eat, which did not feel like a fair resolution. Very disappointing experience overall--not just because of the food, but because the issue was dismissed instead of taken seriously.

Saw a guy eating a sopapilla outside said it was good and there were several people outside waiting so we were like ok it's gonna be good. Ordered the Sopapilia covered in red sauce because it was a popular choice. Sadly, I was disappointed. I think it would have been good by itself no sauce. Just a sopapilla by itself. In sauce was too much. The red sauce did not taste homemade. If it is I'm sorry but it just wasn't my cup of tea. The kids drummettes were fried and tasty. Other than that it was just another diner. We did meet others who said they frequent but knowing true Mexican food, it's a no go for me. Service was ok. Ambiance Diner feel. We met a guy who said there was a cafe town the road that he preferred I don't remember the name but at least I know I'm not the only one who did not enjoy it. He was also from Cali so there you go. Sorry to disappoint. Good luck finding good eats. SYOY
