My pup both camps here as well as gets groomed and always comes home happy and tired from playing with her camp friends. The groomers are very good and work very hard. Shout out to Kiersten and Janine you girls ROCK! One thing I want to remind people, the groomers just like salon workers work on commission,they don't get the full price that we pay for the groom, please remember to tip these hard workers. You wouldn't go to the salon and get your hair cut and not tip would you? Why should your pup be any different. The groomers actually work harder dealing with matts, lifting, bites etc. I used to be one of the oblivious who didn't think to tip and it was brought to my attention by another dog owner and I was mortified. I brought two dogs here including a 10 month old puppy who weighs only ten pounds. I told them one of my dogs is 11 years old and the puppy is scared of big dogs. They advised she would be kept separate with small dogs however I saw multiple large dogs in the same area on the cameras. I was never made aware that my dogs would only get 2 hours in the entire day to be walked on Christmas Day. This means they got to go potty twice and that's all. I was checking the cameras and never saw them even be let out a second time. Only allowing a puppy two potty breaks is terrible!! I also noticed my puppy's towel was soaking wet and recently washed meaning she was probably forced to soil herself in her crate since no one was caring for her. When I called the staff to discuss they had no idea of anything that happened. There is absolutely no care for the dogs. I spend half this at a place in FL and they assign overnight counselors that literally pet the dogs to sleep and send us photos and report cards after. I will never bring my animals back here. They do not care. The place is also filthy and my dogs STINK. They could not wait to get out of that place read more

I took my dog Summer here. It was highly recommended by people who use Camp Bow Wow in different parts of the United States. I must say that the staff and the place is extremely professional. And they know exactly what they are doing here. My dog was left here for 7 hours and when she came home she was tired but seemed stremely happy and content Thank you to everyone who works in the Midland Park facility for taking such wonderful care of my dog Summer. My dogs love it here! The staff is super sweet to us and our fur babies! My older dog Ace suffers from anxiety but when he comes here he can be his normal happy self! I've only been being my dog for a month now because we wanted to find a place to socialize him (he's 6 months old) and to bring him on days where we are not home that much so he doesn't get lonely. I LOVE this place an I will recommend everyone to it. The staff is great, super nice and on top or it all! I also love how it is set up. It has the indoor area that connects to the outdoor play area. My little guy is still kinda of small so he is in with the other smaller dogs and he's made so many friends. I hope he makes more friends when he moves to the bigger dog areas as he grows. The facility is clean regardless of what others are saying attempting to bash this place. Does it smell? IT SMELLS LIKE DOGS which should be expected considering it a friggin doggy camp!!! Like come on people, it's not going to smell like roses and fresh baked cookies! It smells like a bunch of dogs running around but it's not bad at all! They offer deodorizing sprays on the way out IF your dog smells a little off at pick up, I utilize this 100% but even when I don't my pup doesn't smell gross by any means. The interview on the first day was great. It made me feel secure that they are making sure dogs are not aggressive towards other dogs while they're there. That ALONE made me choose this place. Echo gets super excited when we pull up because he knows he's going to have fun and make friends. I also LOVE watching him on all the cameras they have. Bottom line: they're clean. They're friendly. They're thorough and I'm beyond happy to find a place to bring my pup that actually care about him and his safety. It's been a WEEK and some change and I still have NOT received any info on how my card information was processed. The only Information they provided was that it was "an accident". Went to Camp Bow Wow today hoping to find a nice pleasant place for my dog to play during the cold winter. Upon entrance the place smells absolutely filthy, They then tried to give me a pretentious "interview" which I understood to check the nature of my pet which I happily obliged to. During the interview being taken upon a tour I realized the crew was banging poles on the gates to startle dogs "acting up / playing" & I couldn't help but notice the lingering stench. FYI the dogs sound riddled and not happy. Additionally they would not let me tour the play area and back yard to make sure my 8lb miniature dog wouldn't be able to get out. I then decided this wasn't the place for me & upon leaving I couldn't acquire reception so I kindly asked for the WiFi to get an Uber to which they responded "they don't give it out" Not even for a ride out of the establishment or a potential customer. It's nonetheless a 1 Star, but a SCATHING 1, if there was a 0 that would be it. Take the Uber ride out of it, I found it to be filthy & unsound. read more

The place has good intentions, but at the end of the day, do NOT bring small puppies/dogs there. Our super healthy 4 month old puppy went in happy, and literally 3 days later, came out with a fever, double ear infection, rash on her belly and smelling of filth! Also, there was a HUGH lump of poop on her butt for days (We actually saw it on the camera), and had an infection b/c of that. $175 later at the vet bill, we probably wont ever bring her back there. Im not saying they are incompetent, but for all the diseases and infections she got from there, its not worth it! read more

Our dog Abby is a gentle soul who needs lots of love to feel comfortable when she's away from home - she's found all of the above and more at Camp Bow Wow! Abby is so excited to "go to camp" that she leaps out of bed and into the car on camp days. For longer stays, we know that she is in the best possible hands. Staff is nice, however the facility is dirty as can be! Cages are NOT sanitized or cleaned and they dont test any dogs that come in or out of that place! Our dog got a NUMBER of infections (Rashes, kennel cough, fleas and infection) from only a 2 night stay, hes still not the same two weeks later and after a hefty $300 vet bill! I've brought my Jack Russell terrier to a number of Camp Bow Wow locations, and this one is easily our favorite. Staff is warm and welcoming and seem to truly be animal lovers. Mike (the owner, I think) and Jen in particular went out of their way to welcome us, and always take great care of our dog. The entire staff also listens closely to any specific requests we have (medication, feeding times, etc.) Staff to dog ratio seems adequate, and the webcams are FANTASTIC for watching your pet from home! PROS: Webcams are great for checking in with your pet; staff here is friendly and caring CONS: None. TIPS: If you are boarding overnight, try to reserve early as this location seems to fill up the quickest! It's no wonder, as they are the most attentive and friendliest location (IMO). read more

Well Mike, you are incorrect about the owner having been back to your camp and as for me returning there? I have returned because I have another client who uses your facility, which is why I have decided to post that review now. This client is fully aware of what took place with the other dog and pays very close attention to your cameras. I do NOT tell clients what they can or can't do, I give them the information so that they can be on their guard and fully aware of that particular situation. As for why I posted the review instead of the owner of the dog in question? you should ask him, not me. You had your chance to talk to me when I went to pick up the dog that had bitten your assistant, what a joke that was. You were supposed to be there and you were nowhere to be found. You were totally out of line calling that owner who was half way across the country, telling them their dog had bitten your poorly trained assistant before you reviewed the footage from the "event" You put them in a state of panic, all for nothing, as the footage reveled no such thing took place. You didn't even have the decency to waive their fees, you just gave them a miserable discount. Be happy they didn't pick up their dog because it would have been most unpleasant for you. You say mistakes are made, yet even your answer to my first review shows you didn't learn a thing, if you had you would know they have never returned to your facility and you would also know that it is indeed in poor judgement to question me as to why I have posted a review. You know what happened there that day, you know you were at fault and handled everything very poorly, yet you want to point fingers at me? that shows me that you learned nothing at all. Your response says it is from Mike the owner, yet at the end is says Thank you, Michelle ? Is that another mistake too? BTW, did you ever actually write a letter of apology to that owner? I know the answer but just want to know what you say. Shame on you for trying to point at them or myself, the blame for all of this lies with you and the fact that you admit to had poorly trained staff and there was only one girl you trusted. I suggest you pay for your staff to attend a training course and post their certificates of completion in your lobby. I would be careful before boarding your pet here. We left our dog for 2 days and picked him up with no mention of incident from the staff. Once we got home I noticed a gash on the side of his face as if he had been bitten, and he had dry feces all over his bottom. I understand that accidents can occur - but for them to not mention anything to me about such an obvious incident tells me that they are either not paying attention or don't care. They seem to have a lot of dogs to deal with - maybe too many. read more

I can't tell you how much my golden doodle Rudy loves this place. All I have to say is "do you want to go see your friends" and his ears perk up and he's excited from the minute he gets it he car until he arrives. I should mention he usually hates the car! Once he gets there, he can't decide who he wants to see more the staff or the dogs. Everyone here is wonderful to deal with. My dog has been going to day care at the Midland Park location, since she's a puppy. My husband and I occasionally talk about taking her some place else that's cheaper or closer, but we always come back to CBWW. The reason is clear; when we went on vacation for 2 weeks, we boarded our dog at CBWW, and when we returned, our Pup was her usual happy self. The place is spotless, the staff is kind and respectful. Most of all the owner, Mike, is hands on and available with any questions or concerns. We couldn't recommend this place enough. We give Midland Park 5 paws up. read more

As a boxer puppy dog mom I was looking for a clean, friendly feel for a day care setting for my boy. I absolutely love camp bow wow for my new puppy. As everyone knows boxers are full of energy and on a snowing cold day he tends to get wild at home being cooped up. This is the perfect place for him. He can interact with many dogs his size and play play play. They have 3 pens for small, middle and large dogs with doggie doors for access to outside. This place is clean and very well kept. Camp BowWow has been a life saver for me. My dog Murphy is extremely energetic and needs alot of exercise while I am working - Crating him at home made him more destructive. These guys are just terrific. The ONLY place my Koda actually runs into vs runs away from when we first arrive. Great to be able to see my dog running around and playing on the live cams even though we may be many miles away. Only suggestion would be to work on the webcam app in that it freezes or is unavailable more often than not. I have been taking Mia to Camp Bow Wow for several months and have not once been less than 100% satisfied. The staff, starting with the front desk reception area to those who deal directly with Mia, are incredibly kind and helpful and pleasant to do business with. The facilities are incredibly clean and the entire operation is well run. Via the Doggy Cam, I am able to check in now and then to see that she's enjoying her day. Even though I am home during the day, I love sending Mia there a few times a week because all she does at home is lay on the couch sleeping. This way she is moving around and socializing. I feel that is a ridiculous reason for a facility that cares for animals as a business. I trusted your employees to care for my puppy while I worked,and should have been advised of any problems that were observed. I've been bringing my dog Gracie here to be groomed for about 3 years now, specifically and only to my favorite groomer Mary. My dog is a rescue and she definitely has some issues with loud noises, lots of commotion and she is extremely timid by nature. Not only does Mary groom her beautifully EVERY SINGLE TIME, but she takes such good care of her during the process. Mary talks to her gently to keep her calm and keeps Gracie close so she feels secure. Now whenever Gracie sees Mary she runs up to her with her tail wagging like crazy. I wouldn't leave my dog with just anyone. I feel confident leaving her in Mary's care and I know for sure she's coming home beautifully groomed. ASK FOR MARY!! SHES THE BEST!! read more

This place looks like it would be a nice environment for your dog however the staff completely ruins it. They have young kids who have no patience or experience when it comes to "watching" the dogs. If you have a dog that just lays around and doesn't require these people to work they will love your dog! The young man with all of the holes from piercings in his face is one of the rudest individuals there. I also did not appreciate while watching the cameras seeing how many times they would spray a dog in the face. Overall if someone gave me a free package to this place I would throw it out. This Camp Bow Wow establishment is by far the best, honest, and caring place I have brought my dog to. Each staff member knows my dog by name, pays attention to specific detail about her health and behavior, and I NEVER have to worry about her when she is at day care or being boarded. In addition the employees have always been there for me to ask questions, give helpful advice, and take all my anxiety around owning a dog! I have read previous reviews about outlandish and exaggerated claims that I find to be not only insulting but completely untrue. The staff here ALL love dogs, are properly trained to redirect and discipline dogs. I have checked the cameras countless times and NEVER have seen any instance to ANY dog that I would consider inappropriate and over the top. I work very hard to afford to come here, have never regretted it, and will continue to bring my dog here. I do not believe this a good place for ANYONE to bring their dogs, I brought my lab there once and she was bitten in the eye & needed to be rushed to the vet. They said this happened "only when the person in the room turned around for a second" admitting the employee was not watching them to myself and my family. The employees should not be taking their eyes off the dogs EVER! After admitting to not watching they dogs, I brought up the vet bill & they refused to pay it, when it was their own fault!! (I worked at a camp bow wow myself in SC during college & I have nothing bad to say about the company itself but I highly believe the one in MP is unfit for your pets. Also, I saw them yank on my other dogs collar more than twice in one day, as well as kicked both of dogs out of the play area for them to be alone together in a different play area, while they were locked alone in that play area with no one watching them, someone came in 15 minutes later and started cleaning the area, and one of my two dogs were very scared and they did not care and kept cleaning with items that my dog feared. I have given this place chance after chance, and they always are doing something wrong. I told them if they have any problems with my dogs to give me a call, and when they do not give me a call and I see this happening on screen it makes them look terrible. Also, I called the office 4 times, with no pick up, and when they did answer the phone, they stated that "It gets busy up here, leave a voicemail" Someone should always be answering the phone, you are paying them & they are watching your animals! Also, while answering my calls, calls later, they should not be rude and unprofessional! Obviously, they saw my calls, did not pick up and were horrible when they finally did. DO NOT GO THERE! Chances, and chances later I finally told myself I will NEVER be bringing my dogs back there AGAIN! read more

I love that the dogs come back happy and I can watch the Web Cam from Mexico. I like to check it 2x per day as when I see them I feel better. Wish the picture was a little bigger and more colorful. Also, love that you have a pen with a fence and have different size areas for each size dog. Since, my Shih-Tzu eats anything she finds I like that you don't use GRAVEL. I couldn't leave my dogs in a place with gravel, only a grass or grass type surface works for us. I like everything but, going away becomes very costly when you have 2 dogs, although your prices are comparable and the staff is very good with my girls.
