The place is completely adorable. It is a small building behind the nail salon. We recently moved to the area and were desperately in need of a groomer. My dog really needed to be shaved because she was overdo for a haircut. The staff was so nice and the service was super quick. My dog was done in 90 minutes vs when you go to a groomer and they have your pet sitting there for at least half a day. The best part is my dog came out looking adorable. read more

In love with Vanity Fur! Grace is Fantastic!!!! She is so sweet and you can tell she really loves animals and she will treat yours very well. We have been going to Grace for over 6 years now and we won't go to anyone else. We travel all the way from South Jersey every time Rocco, our little Yorkie, needs his haircut, it takes us an hour and half to get to Vanity Fur but it is all worth it. Rocco always gets the best haircut and he smells delicious. Grace really cares about him. The prices are very reasonably and Rocco is ready to go back home in an hour! He was so uncomfortable for about a week after, his skin was really red and itchy even with home treatments, I had to bathe him with oatmeal and aloe vera for days to help my baby. I have been going to Grace from Vanity Furr for years when she worked at a place local to me. She is no longer there and I travel 25 minutes to take my dog to Vanity Furr. She is truly the BEST, and the only groomer I will go to. She really cares about the the dogs. I have taken several different breeds to her. She always gets exactly what I want and the grooming matches the dog's personality. Even on the occasion when I've been lazy and my dogs needs to get cut short or shaved because they are matted, she manages to make them look adorable. I highly recommend this place. read more

Tip: this place is behind the nail salon, so you have to turn onto Wiley to get to it. It is not directly on Franklin Ave. Very nice and accommodating for my dog who does not react well to being in a small space with other dogs. She met me early before opening hours to do my dog's service. Good prices. A small space, but friendly. read more

We Take our mix Cocker/Cavalier Tessie to Grace! Always greeted with a smile and we love that she is not put in a crate or cage after her cut! My mom had been bringing our 6 year old maltipoo here for a couple of months until her last grooming appointment. When our maltipoo came back her one ear was shorter than her left ear. Now I'm not saying that her ear was nicked or cut off or anything, but her right ear's fur hasn't grown back yet and her ears are now lopsided. I have been bringing my golden retriever here for two years. They do a fantastic job! She is a big dog with GOBS of fur, and admittedly, grooming her is a lot of work. Without question the best groomer around. Grace is a kind wonderful person who truly loves dogs . The environment is great for dogs there are no cages they stay on their leash . I have 3 dogs 2 Havaneese , and a beagle. I'm dogs are my kids and I wouldn't let anyone touch them that I don't trust . I do trust a Grace and that is why we have been coming here a long time . I have been taking my mini schnauzer, Pepper, to Vanity Fur for almost two years now. The facility is wonderful in that they don't use cages and each dog has his own appointment time - like a human haircut - there is no sitting around for hours for the dogs waiting and anticipating the next step of grooming. I drop Pepper off and he is ready to be picked up 45 to 60 minutes later. The people are equally as wonderful. Pepper gets a little bit nervous when he sees that we are at the groomer and everyone pets him and welcomes him as if he were their own dog. I should also mention that the results are amazing! Pepper always looks great after a cut and all of the necessary trouble spots (between the pads, in the ears, etc.) are cleaned up well without any issue. I look forward to bringing Pepper to Vanity Fur for many years to come! read more
