The owner is extremely hard-working, always behind the counter making sure everyone gets the deserved attention for their pet. The webcams were perfect when you want to check up on how your dog is doing. It looked like the dogs were kept in the play area the entire time the place was open with a person supervising and giving the dogs love. I did bring her favorite toy, supplied her food with written directions, and a greenie that she was meant to have once a day. They were very flexible. They worked with me when my vacation was last minute, I wasn't sure of the exact date I would be back and she hadn't stayed there before. They groomed her and bathed her before pickup. I've taken my dog to Camp Bow Wow since 2021,and I had no complaints until this year. Not sure if they have a new owner but the Summerlin location has been a huge letdown lately. My two dogs have shared the luxury suite without a problem in 2023 for 5 nights. We enjoy watching them on the "luxury suite camera" which is why this is frustrating. They canceled my reservation for the luxury suite scheduled (6 nights) without letting us know. Mind you we made this reservation 5+ months ago. They refused to let her board with her sister even though they're from the SAME household. When we realized they had done this the livery suite was given to someone else .... and handled it with zero professionalism. Not sure if management changed, but it's definitely not the same place anymore. I check the cameras every day and never saw the luxury suite being used. We will never be returning to this location. Brought my baby girl here for orientation to try and get her boarded at this facility. Everyone seemed friendly and customers seemed happy. Front didn't smell awful, place seemed clean when I arrived. I checked on my girl multiple times on camera and even leaving it on for 2 hours. Luna seemed to be enjoying herself for the first few hours. At one point my sister sent me a screenshot of a dog humping another. I didn't see any workers around when I logged on. When I went to pick her up, I asked to get a tour since I was going to board her the very next day for 5 days. The back smelled like piss, no ventilation. Owner- Casey warned me to watch my step since it's end of night and they do cleaning (liquid he warned was suppose to be cleaning solution, but I figured he meant pee since it just wreaked of piss). He showed me where Luna would be staying, it looked like an animal shelter to me. The area was dark before the sun was even down. Locked in a metal compartment with no view of the surrounding, just metal sheet. Once we finished the tour I asked if the dogs are always supervised, he said yes and it's a fire-able offense. On the spot. Hmm I thought ok.. I swore I didn't see anyone around when the dog was getting humped. And also a few times during the early afternoon people were outside the play area not supervising. A larger set lady on camera is seen holding a spray bottle. I left with my girl and the car ride home was so horrible. She just smelled like piss and I had the AC on full blast so I couldn't smell it. I cleaned her well when we got home. At this point I noticed part of her snout was scraped! She also seemed pretty sad and tail down. When the worker brought her out, she didn't seem excited like usual when she sees me and definitely didn't seem as happy as my old dog that I use to take to Doggie District. I ended up boarding her at my trusted vet instead due to everything that happened, I didn't feel comfortable leaving her there for 5 days and smelling like urine. I would have taken her to Doggie District instead, but Luna didn't get her flu shot in time and doggie district required it. read more

It is now 2024, several years later and I am still paying for the repercussions for our horrible boarding experience. As you know, Casey (owner) would not own up to the scratch or mistreatment of my dog during his stay, but still expected to be paid. Aspen is still suffering anxiety and becomes nervous/scared around new people and it saddens me. Training and socialization did not help. I just tossed money/time out the window which should have been compensated by this company. I feel guilty as I chose this place thinking it was a great fit. I was way WRONG. I left my dog for 19 days because we had to leave the country. Worst decision ever!!!! I left him with three bags of treats so he may have variety. And 24 lbs of food. When I came to pick him up all the treats were gone and so was the food. The food I can understand but three bags of treats that's where it's bad. Not sure if they gave it to other dogs or fed them all to mine. One of the bags was a large bag of pup-peroni (pretty much Costco size) and the other was a (2) training treat bag full and some freeze dried liver cubes. This is what was gone. It's been two days and my dog has horrible diarrhea and is sluggish and not wanting to play. I would not recommend this place at all. I have tried to reach the owner in different occasions (recommended by the employees) and the person has yet to return my call. I will update the experience as it progresses. Attached is the picture of all the treats and they were all gone 12/20/23 update Spoke to Casey (the owner) he did not seem to care or try to resolve the issue. He said that he would train the feeders. He tried saying that I changed the information on the app when that was not the case. When I made the app I put minimal info just to get through the behavior test. Before I dropped my dog off I updated the feeding directions. They printed out what I put originally and never looked at the feeding instructions for my dogs stay. He mentioned that because my dog ran out of food they used the treats as a substitute, which anyone that has a dog or cat will know that's not ok. I put on the feeding instructions to purchase a bag and I would reimburse, which I understand they do not do, but I never received an call nor did my emergency contact. My dog still has bad diarrhea and now has to go to the veterinary because he is also lethargic. DEFINITELY A PLACE WHERE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHST THEY ARE DOING. We love Camp Bow Wow!! We moved here from California this summer, and I was nervous that I would not find a daycamp service that I was happy and comfortable with as the one we previously had. Not only does Petey love everyone at camp, they all know his name and he runs to greet them to go to play every single time! Being able to watch him on the cameras In the app brings me such peace of mind while I am working. I have boarded him twice, and I love that all day camp is included with the boarding price. In response to a few other reviews I saw: Yes, Petey does come home smelling like urine but it is not every single time. I understand that dogs are playing all day and they have to go potty! They are dogs! Better to come home a little stinky, but tired and happy after a fun filled day, than be bored and just sitting in a crate... Like he would be if he was at home while I had to work. A quick rinse and a brushing and he smells fine again. Casey and the staff are so friendly and I can tell they really enjoy the dogs, and know them all so well. ANOTHER REASON TO BE IMPRESSED! We just completed another vacation where Teddy had the opportunity to visit Camp Bow Wow. This time, I had NO apprehension about leaving him as I have become accustomed to their wonderful care of each pup that is dropped off at the Summerlin site. While we were away, Teddy had an upset stomach and they took the extra time to text me to let me know. They kept a special watch on him (he was just a little worked up due to all the play!) and even checked in a day after I picked him up. I continue to be so impressed with this team of caring people. Walking into this doggy day care, I wasn't expecting it to be so cool. Checking in for the first time we were asked to fill out some forms for our dogs, questions about behavior ect. Once the paperwork was done, the staff took Bri to the back into her own play area to get used to being there. The staff then brought in a female dog to get Bri acquainted with being around other dogs. (She's a pup and only been around people) Once the two dogs said hello, they were taken off the leashes to get some freedom. The two females were then leashed and Bri was left in the play area by herself while the staff went and retrieved a male dog. This dog had Bri a bit nervous and she did not want to meet him. The staff were patient and slow with her and brought her back out after a Few minutes. The staff recommended bringing her back on a less busy day so that the energy in the play areas aren't so high. They also thought that she would be less nervous the second time coming back because she now knew that this new place wasn't the vets office. Overall, I like the way the staff worked with Bri and the other dogs so ensure all dogs safety as well as comfortably. My dog sustained puncture injuries at this place and will never be going back. My wife dropped our dog off at Camp Bow Summerlin for dog day care. When she went to pick him up, Casey (owner), informed her that during the course of play another dog had "scratched" our dog on his right side near the shoulder. He went on to say that it was a "small minor scratch" and he had applied an antiseptic solution to the wound then allowed him to return to the play area. My wife called me on her way home and shared what she and Casey had discussed, but she stated that after looking at the wound more closely in the car, it appeared to her that the injury looked more like a puncture wound than a scratch. When they arrived home I examined the injured area. I also felt that the wound was more consistent with a puncture wound most likely the result of a bite rather than a "minor scratch." Additionally, I examined the rest of his body and discovered what appeared to be puncture wounds along the right side of his back and behind his right ear. At that point we decide to take him to the vet immediately. At the vet clinic the injured areas were clipped, cleansed and examined. The vet confirmed that the injury located on our dog's right scapular region was indeed a puncture and not a scratch as Casey stated. She also stated that the other injuries were also puncture wounds. Then she informed us that the puncture wound was deep enough to possibly cause an abscess, which would need to be addressed surgically. Therefore, she instructed us to monitor him closely for any signs of distress and or inflammation near the injured areas. He was provided with a cone, placed on an antibiotic, a pain med and an anti-inflammatory. Approximately 3 days later he became very lethargic, started crying, and what appeared to be an abscess began to form near the puncture wound on his right side near the shoulder. His symptoms began very late in the evening, so we rushed him to the vet at approximately 6 am the following morning. Upon arrival at the vet he was examined and taken into surgery. He was sedated, the area was further cleansed and a drain was placed at the surgical site. Following his surgery, we were instructed to keep the area clean and dry, and return in 3-5 days for drain removal and then again in two weeks for suture removal. Now, I understand that dogs play and things happen, so I'm not upset about that. However, I'm extremely disappointed in how the situation was handled by Casey and his staff. A few days after our dog was bit, but prior to his surgery, I called Casey to get his side of the story and also to express my concerns. Casey pretty much confirmed the story that my wife told me. When I asked him why he didn't notify us immediately upon discovering the wound, he stated that minor injuries occur frequently when dogs play. Therefore, they (CBW staff) have to use their best discretion when deciding on wether or not to notify the pet's owner(s) immediately following an injury. He then went on to say that he had assessed our dog and felt that the injury was only a "minor scratch," so he didn't feel it was necessary to contact us right away. I explained to him that what he believed to be a minor scratch was actually a puncture wound and that he had also missed additional puncture wounds. He didn't really have an answer for that. Next, I asked if he had reviewed the tapes to determine what had occurred and to identify the dog that bit our dog. He stated that he hadn't and it would take hours for him to review the footage, because our dog had been there for a while. In the end Casey did apologize, but his apology doesn't change the fact that our dog was seriously injured and miserable for weeks, nor does it change the fact that we incurred significant vet's fees and had to take a substantial amount of time out of our busy schedules in order to take our pup to his appointments and care for him during his recovery, as he required constant and close supervision. In closing, here are my recommendations to those of you who currently take your dog(s) to CBW and to those who are considering taking your dog(s) there. 1. Request that in the event that your dog gets injured while at CBW, they should contact you immediately after rendering first aid, regardless of the severity of injury. Additionally, ask them not to return your dog to the play area until they've contacted you and apprised you of the situation. If they can't accommodate these simple requests then take your dog elsewhere. 2. Keep a close eye on your pups via the live feed. Don't assume that they're safe and sound and being closely monitored by the CBW staff. 3. Closely examine your dog's body for injuries upon picking him or her up from CBW. Also, monitor their behavior, as my dog was not acting right immediately after he was injured at CBW. read more

I'm so glad this location is finally open. It's located near Rainbow and the 95 which is perfectly convenient for me with dropping off my baby boy, Logan, before work and picking him up after. I've taken Logan to day camp twice now, once for his initial interview and once for some all day play. The interview process was quick and seamless. The staff was super friendly and gave me a tour of the entire facility. They also let your dog stay as long as you want afterwards for free the day of. They have 24 hour web cams available on their website and app so you can check in at any time. After the interview they give you a certificate showing your dog passed along with some coupons for future visits and a report card of what they did during the day. Camp Bow Wow is a great alternative to leaving your dog home alone all day and they also offer bordering. read more

Our 2 dogs were in their care for 3 days. We mostly used this place to board bc of the convenience of watching our dogs on camera. No one warned us that the system was down. I called 3 times each time with a different excuse. Cox was working on it, country wide outage and the last person said it was up and running (not true). After picking up our dogs I called to speak to a manager or owner. No one was available and the desk person took my number and said they would call. I'm still waiting. I always feel very comfortable leaving them there as I know they are in good hands. The staff has always been very friendly and I've never had any issues. What the actual F! This is the worst haircut my dogs have ever received in 5yrs!!! I got them back still wet and smelling like wet dogs. They're not even fully cut! Why did they tell me my dogs are ready when they're not even close! And they make you pay BEFORE you see your dogs. I'm appalled. I could cut them better myself! My mini Goldendoodles are always so happy after they get groomed, but this time they were shaking like someone beat them. Recently took our 6 month old puppy husky here to start is daycare while we both work full time! Loki is super energetic and needs a lot of exercise daily, so during the weekdays we love talking him to day camp! He loves all the workers and seriously cannot sit still in the car when he notices we're going to drop him off. Not to mention, I love the fun activities they have. This past Tuesday they hosted a doggy spa day where campers opted in to have their ears and paws massaged, nails and ears cleaned, and were cuddled! Was able to fill out the online form and schedule an interview day for my 5 month old GSD pup. It was super easy and the employees walked me through the process and what to expect. I was a little nervous to see how he would react to such a loud/chaotic environment, but he did SO well. The interview day is completely free, they require at least a 3 hour stay, but you can leave your dog there up until closing. My boy did about 5 hours and really did well. I love the live cameras so that I could check up on him. He seriously was velcro'd to the employees LOL very on brand for my dog. When I arrived 4-5 staff people were just standing around the front desk, it appeared none of the staff was playing with and or supervising the dogs? I called Camp Bow Wow corporate and the owner who does not work at this location and NO ONE called me back regarding my experience, guess they do NOT care. I suggest looking at other boarding and day care places for your dog if you really do care and want you and your dog to have a postivie experienve. Also, I took note of the actual area the dogs have to play in the outside area and it is a very small run, what can you expect for a place in a retail strip mall, it really is mostly an indoor faculity. Would not use this place even it were for free. I also heard of an incient that ended very sadly and was on the news a few years back regarding this location, however I have not confirmed the facts of the incident, but I was told it was on local news. read more

I will recommend this place until I am blue in the face. My boyfriend and I went out of town for 4 days at the beginning of March and boarded my dog Zelda here. Zelda is very high-energy and active, so I honestly was a little nervous at first and didn't know how well she would do being away from us for a few days. She did amazing and the staff took AMAZING care of her. They have webcams so you can watch your pup play all day (and I have to admit, I probably watched her as often as I could, haha). When I say my dog is high-energy, I mean it. She is almost 1 years old, so she still has that endless puppy energy. When I came and picked her up, I thought she had forgotten about me because she was acting so weird and not super excited... But we got home and I swear she slept for 2 days straight! Hahaha! I've been a Camp Bow Wow client in multiple states for over 10 years. I used to take my aging boxer who was wheelchair bound to their facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2009. The folks in Michigan took exceptionally good care of Rugby in his 'cart' at doggy daycare. They always ensured he had fun in his golden years. When I relocated to Las Vegas in 2012 I started taking my pair of French Bulldogs to Camp Bow here locally due to my positive experience in Michigan. I generally bring the boys here for doggy daycare, and also have boarded them here on multiple occasions. In fact, it's my top boarding preference since they play all day, and I can view them on my mobile phone during daycare at the drop of a hat. It can get costly to board for extended periods with 2 dogs, but it's worth every penny when we can financially swing it. Initially, we were taking them to the Valley View location. However, we've been mixing it up and taking them here since it's closer to our house. Our dogs are so ECSTATIC to go to 'camp' that the mere mention of 'Camp Bow Wow' has them running in circles with excitement. We now have to spell 'Camp Bow Wow' out in front of them vs. saying the name. Otherwise, our pups go nuts as they think we're taking them to play if we're only discussing it. They also offer baths for a deal at 30 bucks each. This special include nail trims, anal gland extraction, ear cleaning, and of course, a scrub in the tub. Since they're French Bulldogs with short coats, they don't need any grooming except a good brushing. Thus, I can't speak to their grooming capabilities. We generally take them here on bath day so they can play their hearts out and then are clean/bathed for us when we pick them up. My oldest French Bulldog, Moose, has been visiting Camp Bow Wow locations in Las Vegas since he was puppy, and I attribute their great care and socialization to his awesome demeanor. Even at 8 years old, he still jumps for joy when he knows he's going here for the day. Every employee encounter has been wonderful, caring, and welcoming. The employees know our dogs by name, and are always showering them with love. The owner has been fantastic to work with, as he's personally called me to make arrangements for boarding and promptly returns my calls if I ever leave a message. Needed day boarding while movers were unloading to new home. Promised by owner that separate spaces were available if the doggies had trouble adjusting. Despite boarders near old home having no problems, camp refused to take them after only 10 minutes of interaction claiming that they tried to "bite" handlers although I didn't see that at any point on the video displays in the waiting room. Staff said owner was wrong about the separate boarding rooms. Thus, had to have dogs underfoot while unloading as too late to make other arrangements. Felt misled. Could have made other arrangements if day boarding was not really available as promised. Will never use this facility. read more

When I arrived to pick up my dog she was still WET. Obviously my dog wasn't ready to be picked up. They didn't trimmed her nails AT ALL either. Horrible customer service specially Lisa at front desk. The girl at the front desk didn't seem to care about how I felt never again here. read more

My dogs went for a temperament test (which they told me would be 4 hours)... 5 min in they brought my dog out and said he wasn't going to be allowed there. Thank God they turned me down! My dogs ended up at another facility that was sooo much better and the staff there actually took the time to acquaint him to the new surrounding. Do not recommend if your dog isn't perfectly behaved - there are much better options of staff that will actually take the time to care for your pets. read more

We have been taking our puppy, Lucky, here for a few months. Boarded her and have used their grooming services several times as well. We chose camp bow wow summerlin because of the nice sized play areas, large boarding enclosures, service and cleanliness (other facilities smelled like urine or poop and this place does not). Bonus were the fees which were EXTREMELY reasonable. We've been very happy with this place and Lucky is always gets excited when we say "Camp Bow Wow". I'd recommend getting the full day package which you prepay for 5 days- it's a better deal. They have half days as well. Grooming is a great cost/value and it's convenient to schedule the bath before I pick her up. There's also a summer special for baths during the week. Lucky comes out smelling great and looking good every time. I'd also recommend downloading the camp bow wow app and you can watch your pups in the play yard. I didn't see that option from any other daycare so this place is unique for their play yard cams. There's also a cam in the suite. Staff is friendly, courteous and always helpful and accommodating. By the way, if your dog is too hyper at home and digging like ours was in the backyard, take them here for a day... you'll see a huge difference. Our girl was SO tired from playing all day and just once or twice play time a week makes an incredible difference. She would't sit with the family before and now she's so mellow at home. Walk time with her too is a different experience. We figured spending money to have her in playtime during work hours beats spending money on replacing furniture and repairs to backyard pipes she used to rip up. Give them a try!! read more
