Antonio with Leader of the Pack K9 Training has truly transformed my dog. My dog was very reactive…read moreto strangers and got to the point where taking him out in public was a challenge and stressful. Out of some desperation, I decided to reach out to Antonio and am so glad I did. From the get go, Antonio was great with my challenging dog and I really appreciated Antonio's balanced approach to training; rather than saying "oh you have to use this tool", he remained open to various tools and quickly identified which would work best for my dog and me. Antonio explains the rationale for everything he does and supports dog owners, even when we inevitably mess up or do something wrong! After 6 private lessons, my dog is a dog I never imagined I'd have. He can comfortably be around strangers and is less stressed out/calmer in public. Thanks again Antonio for your guidance and support!

I have two dogs going to Antonio, Leader Of The Pack in Las Vegas at the end of the month…read more September 2025. I have talked to him through zoom and texting and email numerous times. And so far he's been absolutely amazing. I'm a believer that it's the human that needs to be trained more than the dog. Because I'm the one that's gonna be helping my puppies. And lately it's been a little different for me and I definitely need some assistance. So far one of the things that I've enjoyed and has helped me feel confident about him is the way that he speaks and how he communicates information. I don't feel like he's talking down to me like I'm a dumbass. And I've worked with a lot of trainers. I've always felt like that's been important and I have a lot of things to learn always no matter what. And often unfortunately , there's been a little bit of that conflict. Or I'm the stupid one and they know everything. And I believe that they know a little bit more than me most of the time. And some of them have been very condescending and I don't appreciate that. And I usually tell them. But I have to say I have never once felt that way with Antonio. He speaks clearly and in a way that I can understand him and if I don't, I ask him to maybe say it differently because I didn't get it and he does and he's calm and patient and doesn't get all rattled and honestly right now. I kinda need that. Because I'm getting kind of rattled. I need some help. So far so good they're going two weeks and I'll give updates.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible place, with the new owners. I boarded my dog there…read morefrom Aug 21. & picked him up Sept 3. I noticed that he had gotten thin and was not his usually self. On Sept. 5th I had to take him to the vet. He weighed 13 lbs (on 8/6/25 he was at vet and he weighed 14.8 lbs which was always his normal weight give a few ounces). He also had fever of 103, and bloody soft stool and very lethargic. The next day I called kennel and told them what happened, I was told the owner would get back to me. No call from the owner, so I called again the next day. Same response. On Monday. 9/8 I called the previous owner, he told me that he would have the new owner contact me. The new owner Mckelle gave me a call that night. She told me after 2 hours they pick up the wet food (cans). Whether its eaten or not. My dog has always been a grazer (he eats when he wants too). Mckelle also told me that she would call me back the next day after checking the feeding logs. I never got another call. Basically they starved my poor boy and the damage to his system was irreversible. I had to put him to sleep on 9/9/25. My beautiful boy is gone because of them!!!! Avoid this place!!!!

When we signed up for the group lesson with Mike, I was worried about what would happen with all the other dogs! But he assured me to be there without rejecting her, knowing she'd act crazy! When we showed up, she was barking, lunging, and going crazy since we got off the car, and we couldn't go near at all!! This continued for maybe four sessions in. Then Mike grabbed her leash and corrected her. That's all it took! He showed us how to fix the situation and stay consistent at it. Look at the picture! This is her in STAY command, just relaxing on the trail. We can walk by other dogs without a hassle. It's a working progress, but this wouldn't have happened without his training. Mike is full of knowledge and experience. He taught us very simple yet valuable skills, and it's been going very well since our sessions ended.

Most importantly you must go in knowing that you as an owner need to put in the work to get results and trust me, you will get results if you do. It's all patience, communication and consistency. Get those wins! I have three dogs so it wasn't an easy training process because of different ages, sizes and behaviors hence why we needed help. But the training techniques he taught apply and work with all of them and had made it easier. With a few more wins under our belt day by day! Michael was communicative and flexible while scheduling our weekly classes. There was never any force or aggressive training involved at any time, no need for shock collars only training collars (very different). Price wise I think he is the most reasonable and he has group classes you can attend. We look forward to taking those classes! Thank you Mike!
