[[HIGHLIGHT]]TASTY MICROBREWS AND OUTDOOR DINING.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This Camo Colvos is completely different than the Tacoma one with the exception of the beer and the outdoor dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a variety of sandwiches, burgers etc and even pizza. It is NOT the New York style pizza they serve in Tacoma and definitely not as good. They don't have a full bar but you can get wine or hard cider if you don't want a beer. Which I do recommend. The beer is very good. I was not impressed wit the food. The pizza was so so, and the tater tots were not as crispy or as hot as I would have liked. You order at the counter and you will get a number for any table you can find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the outdoor area. There is only like one or two tables inside, so, hopefully it's a nice day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Of course, you can get your order to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh and you can bring your doggie if you like.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cheers.

We liked this place so much that we came back the next day! I love beer, and Camp Colvos Brewing did not disappoint! We were in Vashon for a wedding, wandered into town, and decided we needed a beer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Camp Colvos has a great vibe. It's downtown and has a nice big patio with covering outside and plenty of seats inside too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was very friendly. They answered all of my beer questions and even offered samples so I could find the perfect brew. I really enjoyed the Cold IPA. We ended up staying for another beer and decided to order some snacks. We had the Soft Pretzel Twist with Beecher's Cheese Sauce and the Fancy Veg Pizza. The pretzel had the perfect crust and was soft inside, and the cheese sauce was amazing! We liked the pretzel so much that we ordered another one the next day when we returned. The pizza was also great. It had a thin crust and cooked to perfection. Camp Colvos Brewing is definitely a Vashon gem. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the mood for a beer.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Quiet place, great when the sun is out for outdoor eating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizzas are made at a different location and then brought in, so no customizing. Tried a couple of pizzas and a pretzel. All were good and hot, just super super greasy. Very fast service. For the food not technically made in house the price seemed a little high.

I freaking love a good pretzel. My favorite snack with a cold brew or cider. This one was soft, perfectly salty and hot. With a delicious beer cheese sauce. Other menu items available here like pizza, sandwiches and a few salads. The cider yummy, cold and refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge outdoor patio and good vibes here people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly service and all over excellent spot! Come here now and have a cold beverage. small parking lot but also street parking. Enjoy your life. SYOY!

Mukai Lager nice & lite. Guest tap from the island cidery, Dragon Head. Spinach pastie barely had any filling. Skimped on the pretzel bites portion. Took a while for the simple food. Service was the let down ~ negative vibes & no smiles when addressing customers is always a turn off. When guests inquired about the brews, there was no effort to upsell the brewery. Might be the largest outdoor seating for the town. Nevertheless plenty of picnic tables & some with sunbrellas. Right off the main street to enjoy watching the passerbys. Lots of pups lounging around.

I love Camp Colvos in Tacoma, so of course I had to stop by here when visiting Vashon. The bartender was the nicest guy! He was super informative and let me sample different beers. I love the chill vibe and I could just sit here all day when the weather is nice (and probably when it's not ).

Great spot to grab a beer on draft and finger food! While there was no cider on tap, I enjoyed the bottled Dragon Head cider, it wasn't too sweet and paired well with the warm doughy pretzel. There's also Root Beer and a few non-alcoholic options as well. I wasn't a fan of the soggy tots. My brother-in-law enjoyed the pizza. Lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommend on Vashon Island!

This was a great lunch stop on our visit to the island. A spinach galette paired with their pale ale was a perfect match. We appreciated the extensive outdoor seating.

Pasties and Tater Tots were dry and undercooked. Food doesn't seem that great on the menu. Should of gone to Island Queen across the street.

The accompanying bread was delightful. I heard another diner exclaim in surprise to her companion upon greeting the chef's special lasagna, which I ordered; it featured thin hand made pasta sheets, mint and basil, ricotta and parmesan with local yellow squash cut thin on a mandoline--rich, satisfying and vegetarian! Did the fried oysters disappear off the menu? Good riddance, I look forward to more chef's specials!

Maybe that should have been my queue to find a different spot. We were seated quickly, and ordered the French toast. For $22 I expected to be blown away and have it be the most amazing plate of French toast I've ever eaten. What I was served was a plate of BURNED toast, a few blueberries and some sliced strawberries. There wasn't any whip cream, nothing special but can we go back to how it was burned. Like black. Not carmelized burned. (You can see how black it is in the pics. Do better. No one else was there) Our served came over gave us our bill so we could pay and never did ask how our meal was. Probably because she knew it was bad. I paid. I'll never go back and I caution anyone else that's in the area.

I could not see a menu anywhere officially, but, no need as this coffee shop is tiny. The pastries were clearly visible in the case. It was hard to choose. Unfortunately, I orderded a cake that tasted really dry and was honestly a bit underwhelmed with its flavor. But, it was covered in a decadent whip cream drizzled with chocolate, and combined with the vanilla latte it was sufficient for a morning treat. My friend had a blueberry danish that was definitely much tastier. My friend gave me a taste so I can attest to it tasting better. And the gentleman working there offerred her a dallop of lemon curd on top to top off the sweet treat. I saw other items I wish I had ordered instead of the cake. Like donuts, a cinnamon roll the size of my face, an apple fritter (I think), danishes of various flavors too. The cold case also had beers to choose from sold in single serve cans. Water and soda were choices too. Overall excellent service and great vibes here at this cozy coffee shop. Quirky and local ambiance make it a no brained and must stop. Happy yelping.

We never disliked the beer but it was also not one of our most favorite breweries in Tacoma. But we have learned that it looks like new ownership has taken over at this brewery. The name remains the same. The merchandise is mostly the same in concept but with a few tweeks. Probably what we noticed most was the beer recipes changed as did some of the beer options. We felt like it was an improvement actually. We have been here twice now since the changes and it definitely generates more motivation to go over there. We have had a few very tasty lighter beers since on the first visit. On the second we had a great Black IPA called Nightmare 21. Black IPA'S aren't super common so we get them when we can. Another fun dark beer was Haunted Windchimes was what it was called. The name itself sold me on wanting it but it didn't disappoint either. So looking forward to more frequent returns to North 47!
