Nice sunny day today so I decided to give this spot a try . Great location, nice outdoor seating and atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service from their friendly staff. Also the beer menu really makes this place awesome Put it on your list!

Really enjoyed this pls e. So funky with fantastic friendly vibe. They have outside, main area and bar area and each has different vibe. Outdoor is chill, warm and easy going vibe. Main area is cool, fun and layback vibe, and e bar area is enjoying great drinks & adults vibe. The staff here are wonderful, friendly, and very attentive. The place is clean, spacious, funky but fun decor. Menu is great with plenty of choices for everyone's preference. Drinks are fantastic and we'll make. The foods are quite good. We just had drinks and snacks but they are well made. Parking is okey, they do have small parking lot but plenty of street parking and neighborhood's street parking too. Love the place.

Cold. The E9 was cold.Did not seem like there was any heat in the place. So,that made my dining experience a little uncomfortable. But to compensate for the cool interior, the staff were very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed our meals and the service.Generous on the fish and chips and a sturdy burger dip.History exudes from the walls of this converted fire station.Wonderful collection of paraphernalia.Lots of room for families and a cosy bar area.Large patio, which is very popular....but be wary of the horse chestnut in the Fall!

E9 has a cool vibe being that it's in an old firehouse built in 1907 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. We chose to sit outside under the huge horse chestnut tree. Be careful, these large and heavy chestnuts fall frequently, and can fall right onto your head or food. The food was pretty good. They offered gluten free pizza crust ansd hamburger buns at no extra charge, which I thought was a nice touch. We ordered The Haven pizza and a side of garlic tots to go with our cider & beer. The pizza came out as a shareable size with a thinner crust. Most of the ingredients were centered toward the middle, which made the slices challenging to hold to take a bite. The flavors were good. The tots were crunchy and hot, but we were left wondering where the garlic was. Next time, I would like to come at night for a drink and a snack with some friends. It seems like the perfect place to socialize.

Came here two days in a row. First time was for the food (I got the chicken parm sandwich which was delicious so I recommend!) and second was for the bar. If you like beer from a brewery, this spot is for you. I had a few pints as well as a margarita and it was so good.

Great dive bar with a solid happy hour menu. They've got some cheap drinks options for those that need to give their wallets a bit of a break. Sandwiches and pizzas were pretty good - I was fairly pleasantly surprised by the food and would go back again. Service was quick, fast, helpful. Cool vibe with firefighter themes and decor.

maple dijon fried chicken sandwich. get it!!

your "american" bar menu but wait, there's more! kinda place LOL. they have a huge menu and has your classics like patty melt, mushroom swiss, wings, pizza, salads, chicken strips, pastas, etc. They have tater tots as an option (along with fries of course) -- i mean for me... already a big win.! But seriously also different gems like caramelized onions as toppings in burgers or an impossible burger option, also a smash burger since the new craze. but a specials menu with pulled pork sliders, yakisoba, a french dip and my personal fave is the maple dijon chicken sandwich. this chicken sandwich hits every category it should.. huge, crispy, sweet and tangy (from the maple dijonaise), acid to cut the richness (from the pickles), umami (bacon jam). i had this once and keep coming back for it time and time again... consistency! the staff are friendly and also beer is great. i absolutely LOVE the inside which is an old fire station,... literally. there is a pole and the old parts of the station in there and it's just really so very cool. in the summer they open up seating outside and it's just a vibe for me. you can either wait to be seated or head straight to the bar section where it's open seating. sometimes they do get busy so expect to wait during peak times!

We loved coming here! I came with family to celebrate my father-in-laws' birthday back in April. All of the food was sooooo good. Our server was very friendly and the prices were fair for the very large portions. Only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because it seemed they were understaffed because the service was pretty darn slow. Our waitress had a lot of tables.

I really love this place! So much to look at and such rich history! The food is great and they have Happy Hour during the week. I love their soup n salad meal. They have shuffleboard and many seating options. Check it out!

Quiet day this Monday. Monthly lunch with friends brought us to E9. Plenty of seating, friendly staff and great food. Great decor! Opted for the Onion Ring Burger. Great combo. Crispy onion rings on top of a great patty with bacon and BBQ aioli. I skipped the cheese. Choice of tots or battered fries-my choice- and they were top notch!!! Accompanied with a Seapine Hefeweizen and my lunch was the bomb!!!

Went here for the first time and would definitely go back. The waitress and waiters are friendly and the food was great. Love the fact that we could get in a few games of shuffleboard after eating. Yum yum!,

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. The food was on point throughout, and considering the size of our group, that's borderline remarkable. Breakfast at Cooper's is flavorful and excellent! Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!

French onion soup was on point. Ambience was quiet and comfortable. We seated ourself and the waitress was on the spot - she kept up with us the whole time, was very helpful and friendly. On our most recent visit we tried the nachos, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. The cheese sauce is amazing- not some gross canned stuff. Dirty Oscar's Annex - Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave…read more We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly. First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn't arrive until after I had already received mine -- even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren't given enough for everyone. The most frustrating part, however, was the automatic gratuity. At no point were we informed -- verbally or on the menu -- that parties of 6 or more are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We only discovered it by carefully reviewing our checks. And to make matters worse, the so-called "20%" was not actually 20%. It came out to 24.1%. When we questioned it, the person who said she was the manager claimed "the computer does it automatically." We are a table full of teachers -- and the math was definitely not mathing. We understand and respect gratuity for large parties, especially when the service is great or when it's clearly communicated. But charging more than the stated percentage crosses from poor service into a billing integrity issue. To add to the frustration, there is also a credit card processing fee, which again was not clearly disclosed on the menu and only appeared at the bottom of the receipt. This absolutely should be visibly posted before ordering. They did offer to refund some of the charges, but we declined because it would have taken additional time and we had an event to get to -- and more importantly, it doesn't resolve the core issue of lack of transparency. She also gave each of us a $10 gift card, but again, that doesn't resolve the issue. And honestly, what good is a gift card if we don't plan on returning because of such an awful experience? Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and not one we would recommend based on service and transparency alone.

However, when the bartender arrived later, the situation turned unpleasant. Even though I had been waiting since 10:00 AM, he rudely accused me of being late. When I explained the situation, he dismissively said, 'I never seen my manager here on Wednesdays anyway,' and showed zero effort to help. He wouldn't even have bothered to call the manager if I hadn't explicitly insisted and asked him to. After the call, he simply told me the manager 'had something important to do' and wouldn't be coming, suggesting I should just come back later. It is incredibly disrespectful to confirm an appointment and then simply not show up , wasting a candidate's time and gas money. If the management treats potential staff with this much disregard and allows their floor staff to be so rude to applicants, it speaks volumes about the business culture. I hope the owner addresses this internal communication breakdown.

Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.
