I think he was new. I knew exactly what OTF was all about because of him! Thank you! I did try the free class at this location... however, OTF recommends you sign up at a home location where you spend the most time.. whether it was close to work or home. I'm in this area quite often... This is a very busy location. Personally, I think you can call your home gym where you feel the most comfortable or welcomed. They did a great job! I definitely have it as one of my favorite spots to drop in!

My wife and I, along with many others, are having a lot of issues when it comes to canceling our subscription. We canceled months ago, and orange theory continues to try and charge us. We have called and filled out paperwork multiple times. Whether its incompetence or unfriendly business practices, orange theory has some issues it needs to iron out. They have lost paperwork, refused to reverse charges, and have been unhelpful. Again, the workouts were awesome. It really sucks that orange theory has such a poor customer service experience on the back end. Stay away...

Pure Barre Spring excels not only in physical training but also in fostering a sense of camaraderie among the clients. The communal spirit is very special as classmates support each other, creating a motivating atmosphere that encourages everyone to push their limits. Then I found this gem, which just wasn't on yelp yet! I had my first class here today with Elizabeth and it was excellent! For those of you who haven't experienced Barre, it is low-impact and focuses on small isometric movements to tone all those hard-to-engage muscles using ballet-inspired but easy moves. I'm the opposite of graceful but Pure Barre has given me better body awareness and flexibility at my own pace. Elizabeth's instruction was great, providing detailed description of the next movement without stopping the flow, and going around making small adjustments to everyone without calling anyone out for an off position. She remembered everyone's name, and let you know you were doing a good job when she saw you working hard or giving your all (the goal is to "shake", because the muscle is getting tired it wobbles or shakes a little). I've seen pure Barre change my body from doughy and shapeless to lean and toned, so I'm in love with it. It elongates, tones, and slenderizes you all over. I even noticed an instructor from a nearby fitness center was in the class. This location has great music, very friendly staff, and is super clean! I love the look of the studio, with a bit more wood accents than most, it looks (and is) very upscale! It's also in the PERFECT location for those in the Vintage Park/Champion Forest area. Just a hop and skip from H-E-B shopping center, right by Dunkin Donuts in a plaza. Walking Distance from those who live in any of the "San" apartment complexes. I'm definitely going to be a regular here!

LFG is very different. If you're there to look cute then my opinion this won't be the place for you. If you want to get in shape, have waterfalls of sweat, improve strength, stamina, and overall fitness then you've come to the right place. No where on this planet will you find a gym offering 21 days for $21. If you do find it, when you start, you may be welcomed on the first day but nothing like the personal attention I have received from LFG, there is no comparison. I work nights, get off at 8:30am after a 12 hour shift and love every minute of rushing to get to my 9am class! Everyone likes to feel appreciate. At LFG although am getting my butt kicked daily, I feel appreciated by my trainers just for showing up. Although training is conducted in a group fashion you will receive the personal attention from your trainers to ensure you have the correct form always! Although all the trainers are great, I have to say Victor Mendoza is an excellent trainer. His energy, his attitude, and he spread himself through out class like an octopus to ensure everyone in his class receives the personal attention and he make time to correct form. I have attended 15 days of my 21/$21 plan and it's the best purchase I have ever made! No pressure, no unwanted feeling of not belonging, and, no judgement. The energy is welcoming and a good workout is filled with congratulatory remarks by others from the class that you don't even have to know. You will leave with a sense of "we are in this together" daily. Go try them out!

I signed up for Camp Gladiator's 10 class $20 promotion, and it just wasn't for me. DISCLAIMER:…read moreJust because CG isn't for me doesn't mean it's a bad program. I think everyone should exercise, it's good for your body and mind, and if outdoor cardio workouts sound like your thing, by all means, try them. Why it's not for me: 1. CG offers only outdoor exercise classes. In Texas, the heat, cold, and rain makes working outdoors intolerable. 2. Members must bring their own basic equipment including mat, dumbbells, water and towel. It soon became a hassle to constantly transfer my equipment from the car to the house, and the parking lot and back to the car, etc. . . 3. Because of the lack of standalone facilities or good equipment, the workouts became repetitive fast. Trainers did bring lightweight equipment to supplement what members brought with them, but it was minimal (and worn out!) The routines varied, but the exercises were the same: running, jumping, burpees, push-ups, etc . . . I wanted more strength training, but without better equipment, this was impossible. 4. Our workouts comprised mostly high impact exercises on concrete, which left my wrists and ankles sore even with modifications, something I have never experienced in years of intense exercise. 5. We had to take a smiling group picture after every class, presumably for advertising purposes. I am not there to market their program. I am there to get in shape, and I really disliked this. 6. Lastly, it's very expensive considering all campers get are outdoor group exercise classes. And campers have to be on at least a 6 month contract ranging from $49-$99/month. Other gyms are $10-$30 with no contract, so I fail to see the advantage of CG over more economical gyms that offer many more amenities.
