The workouts are always challenging, never repetitive, and give you results as long as you show up. One of the greatest things I have found is that Tre and Cass really do care. This isn't some big franchise gym where your membership is a dollar sign. If you are out for a couple days / weeks...you will be getting a text or email asking why you haven't shown up. This is what makes it all worth it; they care enough to make you care, and that's what makes each person want to strive to be better. Beast Body offers a wide array of classes; from boot camp to ninja warrior training, to ninja training for kids to zumba and belly dancing; you are sure to get a great workout no matter what you are in to or your abilities. They have extremely competitive pricing for the services offered, and combo packs really help to get the whole family in. I've got myself plus three kids in classes and pay about the same as a normal gym membership with more benefits!

They create an inclusive and encouraging environment, making it suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. The attention to detail in adjusting and assisting participants ensures a personalized experience that maximizes the benefits of each exercise. Pure Barre Spring excels not only in physical training but also in fostering a sense of camaraderie among the clients. The communal spirit is very special as classmates support each other, creating a motivating atmosphere that encourages everyone to push their limits. Not only are we classmates/instructors but we all have a special bond with one another.I would recommend this studio to everyone I know. Julie Grutzmacher

Then I found this gem, which just wasn't on yelp yet! I had my first class here today with Elizabeth and it was excellent! For those of you who haven't experienced Barre, it is low-impact and focuses on small isometric movements to tone all those hard-to-engage muscles using ballet-inspired but easy moves. I'm the opposite of graceful but Pure Barre has given me better body awareness and flexibility at my own pace. Elizabeth's instruction was great, providing detailed description of the next movement without stopping the flow, and going around making small adjustments to everyone without calling anyone out for an off position. She remembered everyone's name, and let you know you were doing a good job when she saw you working hard or giving your all (the goal is to "shake", because the muscle is getting tired it wobbles or shakes a little). I've seen pure Barre change my body from doughy and shapeless to lean and toned, so I'm in love with it. It elongates, tones, and slenderizes you all over. I even noticed an instructor from a nearby fitness center was in the class. This location has great music, very friendly staff, and is super clean! I love the look of the studio, with a bit more wood accents than most, it looks (and is) very upscale! It's also in the PERFECT location for those in the Vintage Park/Champion Forest area. Just a hop and skip from H-E-B shopping center, right by Dunkin Donuts in a plaza. Walking Distance from those who live in any of the "San" apartment complexes. I'm definitely going to be a regular here!

I signed up for Camp Gladiator's 10 class $20 promotion, and it just wasn't for me. DISCLAIMER:…read moreJust because CG isn't for me doesn't mean it's a bad program. I think everyone should exercise, it's good for your body and mind, and if outdoor cardio workouts sound like your thing, by all means, try them. Why it's not for me: 1. CG offers only outdoor exercise classes. In Texas, the heat, cold, and rain makes working outdoors intolerable. 2. Members must bring their own basic equipment including mat, dumbbells, water and towel. It soon became a hassle to constantly transfer my equipment from the car to the house, and the parking lot and back to the car, etc. . . 3. Because of the lack of standalone facilities or good equipment, the workouts became repetitive fast. Trainers did bring lightweight equipment to supplement what members brought with them, but it was minimal (and worn out!) The routines varied, but the exercises were the same: running, jumping, burpees, push-ups, etc . . . I wanted more strength training, but without better equipment, this was impossible. 4. Our workouts comprised mostly high impact exercises on concrete, which left my wrists and ankles sore even with modifications, something I have never experienced in years of intense exercise. 5. We had to take a smiling group picture after every class, presumably for advertising purposes. I am not there to market their program. I am there to get in shape, and I really disliked this. 6. Lastly, it's very expensive considering all campers get are outdoor group exercise classes. And campers have to be on at least a 6 month contract ranging from $49-$99/month. Other gyms are $10-$30 with no contract, so I fail to see the advantage of CG over more economical gyms that offer many more amenities.

This was my first time at the Cypress location and everyone was really nice and accommodating. They break it up into a strength session with multiple exercises with weights, bands, trx straps and step bench. Some are done on the floor too. They have mats to use. Rowers are next then treadmill. You can choose what you want to do first. The instructor will lead you through each segment in 2-3 groups. One group on treadmills, the other group on strength. Got checked in and waited for Miguel to start the session. He had the right mix of structure and level of difficulty to keep me engaged. The strength training segment was hard because the heavier weights were used and I had to get used to that. The rowing and treadmill were easier for me. I will come back to his class. He was very good and upbeat and demonstrated the moves. Also offered to walk me around before class which I appreciated. I like the location too, it's nice and clean. Traffic is bad but no way around that.
