The staff was friendly and welcoming. The campsites are well-spaced, and each spot comes with a picnic table. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, and the water temperature was warm enough for a comfortable shower. The camp also has a small store with all the essentials, and there's a Walmart and McDonald's nearby for anything you may need beyond that. They keep the area tidy, with clean trash bins and bags provided, and the trash is picked up in the morning. The only downside was the lack of night patrol. There were several loud parties making it difficult to sleep, though I understand this is more of an issue with guests not being considerate. Additionally, the site next to ours had a notably loud snorer, which made things a bit more challenging. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Kittatinny K-Camp.

How about adding a small section with exercise equipment for the adults? Pull up bars, parallel bars, a couple benches for doing sit ups. That would totally make it complete.

My friend and I attended the Long Island Wine Tour on Sunday, June 07, 2026. In my booking confirmation, there was a digital waiver that needed to be signed prior to the trip, a lunch form to select a gourmet deli sandwich, list of items to bring, what's included, and the trip itinerary. The lunch options were Turkey, Avocado, & Swiss, Grilled Veggie Sandwich (vegetarian), gluten free: salad (w/ or w/o chicken), or if you prefer to bring your own lunch. I chose the Turkey, Avocado, & Swiss sandwich. On the day of, I went to the pickup location: 41 Union Square W, New York, NY 15 minutes prior to the departure time of 9:00am. Soon after, our tour guide named Joe, told us that the bus was waiting for us around the block since it was too big for the street. The bus had comfy seats, outlets to charge your phone, and a bathroom at the back. After everyone got checked in, Joe introduced herself, gave us a run down of the itinerary, and put on Mrs. Doubtfire while we headed out east. Before we arrived at each winery, Joe told us a little bit about it and what to expect and how long we had at the winery. Lenz Winery was the first winery stop and we were given our sandwich and chips here. The Turkey, Avocado, & Swiss sandwich was a bit dry, but it was something to fill our stomachs. Raphael Winery was the second winery stop. Osprey's Dominion was the third and last winery stop. At each of the wineries, we had several tastings and a bottle of water. My favorite was Raphael Winery. The winery was designed by John Petrocelli who was inspired by the Italian monasteries of his ancestral home and its absolutely beautiful. My friend and I also ordered some food here and it was delicious. A guest in our group even sang in Italian because he was so inspired by the beautiful atmosphere. On the Long Island Wine Tour, we visited 3 award-winning Long Island Wineries on the North Fork region to taste some of the finest vintages in the New York area, had a picnic lunch (a sandwich, chips & bottle of water), received bottle discounts at select vineyards, and round trip transportation from NYC. All the guests in our group were friendly, respectful, and responsible throughout the duration of the trip. Joe kept us on time throughout the trip, but it felt like she was our babysitter and didn't really need to be there. Drop-off was by where they picked us up. Even though I live in Long Island, the Long Island Wine Tour with Sourced Adventures was really fun and it was really nice to enjoy all the wine without worrying about driving. I could not see this place being too kid friendly when it was busy during the summer months.

You can't hear ThinkingCAP without Adam, he is the most amazing, caring, attentive, dedicated, definitely under appreciated people in the city. Adam is the Program Manager, however he is like the brother to the staff, parents and kids. We heard of the program just when the pandemic started as our daughter was starting school, however we had some difficulties due to the pandemic and Adam did everything to work with out. We appreciated his attentiveness so much we decided to forgo other summer camps when we found out that this program offered one. The camp was beyond amazing, our daughter loved it and I felt that the staff loved her. It felt like family, not easy to find a program that you feel takes good care of your child. That was last year. This school year, our daughter's school offered a few after school programs, however none of them are even close to this program. Adam and ThinkinCAP do so much for kids of the school, a lot of times, people don't know, because he does it for the kids, when I ask him "Why didn't you put the name of the program on the flyer?" He always says "It is for the kids, this is the reason I am doing all of this, I have to do it with all of my heart, or why do it at all." Adam works with the parents, in so many different ways, he communicates effectively in a timely manner. He is direct, honest, nurturing and always a great person to just learn from. If I were to vote for a DOE Chancellor, I would vote for Adam, a lot of people say they are doing it for the children, he is one of the few that means it, which he has shown through his actions! One conversation and you will see how much he and the program really cares and supports children! I truly wish that that the city would support this program to where more children can benefit from him. I forgot to mention, he is not just an administrator who hides behind a desk or group of people, he is always interacting with children and nurturing their growth!
