This was a fabulous find! We were traveling back home from Cape Cod and exited I90 in fredonia. The restaurant had just opened, promptly seated and were greeted by a sweet server, Taylor! The food was authentic Italian and absolutely wonderful! From the wedding soup to the pasta to the canoli, we were very pleased! Fresh warm bread and butter! Everything was great and Taylor was super! It is a must if you are in the area. Wonderful food!!

Traveling through and asked for a rec from the hotel. This was his place. What a gem! Charming interior and ambiance, interesting menu with classic and modern choices. Staff is helpful and friendly. So worth the few extra minutes drive for a memorable meal rather than a chain restaurant off the highway. You won't be disappointed.

I have not had a cannoli this good since my great aunt's (RIP) over 30 years ago!

Had never been to Campano' s Cucina but had heard fantastic reviews on the atmosphere and food. When I saw the ad for a comedy show there, I thought that would be the perfect first experience! From the moment our party arrived until we left, the experience was top notch! Establishment is homey and inviting. Staff was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to us all evening. Leah was our waitress and went above and beyond. Jared made the most amazing drinks. Our food was five star quality! I savored every bite from the appetizer to the main course through dessert! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend checking them out at least once. I came in a stranger and left family!

    Special tonight!

My favorite dishes are the calamari, mussels, and beef on weck. The portions are large and the beef is the best I've had in town.

The ceiling tiles look like they are ready to fall on your head. The Italian banner running around the seating area appears to have never been washed. Caked with years of dust literally dangling from the edges. They have computer screens in the booth. ‍ They don't really work. The decor is so out dated it's ridiculous. Service, our waitress was very polite and nice. Took our orders. Dinner order was a pepperoni / mushroom calzone, and chicken parmesan with a side of onion rings. Each meal came with salad. Salads up - nothing fancy, your typical ice burg lettuce, with chick peas, giant slice of tomato and mini croutons. Onions up - truthfully very good "best part of the dinner" other than the dipping sauce. 99% sure it was thousand Island dressing mixed with something, definitely not good. Calzone up - OMG where to begin. Seriously, by far the worst calzone I think I have ever had. Undercooked pepperoni, and mushrooms, all thrown together on one side of the calzone. Other side doughy and undercooked, with zero seasoning. Soggy crust. The sauce was horrible. Chicken Parmesan up - pasta noodles, strait out of a box, with zero taste, chicken way over cooked / burnt "could have used it for a hockey puck", the sauce, simply not good. So to rap it up. I would never recommend Dejohn's to anyone. The place is run down and the food is horrible. We doggy bagged it home and fed it to our dogs. So now my last thought, oh-no ! Am I going to get in trouble for animal cruelty, for feeding them horrible food.

We didn't have a chance to put our dinner orders in at this point. We ordered entrees right before the appetizers came out, which took a long time anyway, and then immediately after our appetizers and salads came out. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food with an inattentive server, no apology, and no explanation. When we asked about our food, we still didn't receive any sort of explanation as to why it was taking so long. Then once we got our entrees, the server brought our check very quickly and condescendingly told us that she knew we were in a hurry...we weren't at the beginning of the night but by that point we were - it had been 2.5 hours since we sat down. By the end of the meal, our graduate splashed a small amount of sauce on her white dress and our server very rudely told her that she shouldn't have worn white to an Italian restaurant and then proceeded to make fun of her and say she needed a bib. The food was tasty but the overall experience of dining here unfortunately means we won't be return customers. We aren't unreasonable people and our group has jobs in the service and hospitality industry, we know there is a correct way to handle these situations and being unsympathetic and apathetic isn't it.

We discovered that many places are closed on Monday in town, but not Calarco's. We placed an order for pick-up and the service could not have been nicer. They even accepted plastic, unlike other establishments in town. Portions were huge, the rolls were warm and soft and savory, and that tomato sauce was unique, zesty, and something special. My wife had leftovers of her chicken piccata which she enjoyed; nothing was spared of my eggplant parm as I had to eat it all. Their homemade bleu cheese dressing I asked for with my side salad was so darn good. And to top everything off, we split their last slice of peanut butter pie which was truly an impressive gem. I have had many a pie or cake in fine dining restaurants, yet this particular pie was out of this world. Next time in Westfield, we will meet again, Calarco's.

Because the meal is simple, it all comes down to the service (since the Olive Garden atmosphere is the same chain-wide). The service here this evening was very good. The Staff kept our water glasses filled and was prompt with salad refills (only one tonight - usually my partner and I can put away 4 salads between us). I thoroughly enjoyed it, and everything was really good. Located right on the corner going down Lundy's Lane, the place looks very simple from the outside, but once you walk through the doors you realize you are in for an elegant dining experience. Started out with a orange Pellegrino which was wonderful, they brought out some bread and this amazing honey and ricotta cheese spread. Absolutely to die for but be careful. It would be easy to fill up on that and miss out on the wonders of the meal that's coming. I started the meal off with their Caesar salad which was absolutely perfect. The right amount of dressing lettuce was second to none and it was one of the most delicious Caesars I've had. I opted for the gnocchi oso buco ragu, which was absolute perfection. Be careful though, these gnocchi are no joke. The taste will keep you eating all of them and you will absolutely be ready to take a nap afterwards. Bottom line? If you are looking for fine dining in the Niagara falls area, you would be doing yourself a disservice not going to this restaurant. It's absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!

No sides come with the pasta dishes not even a slice of bread. Our food came out luke warm on ice cold plates. The flavor of the spaghetti and meatballs were amazing, but they break their noodles in half which is a sin and it was room temperature. The flavor of the Alfredo was very bland. The chicken had zero seasoning and it tasted like it was from a can or frozen and boiled with chunks of cartilage in it. I told the waitress and asked for seasoning or something to save it. Nothing did. I had 2 bites of it and left it all on the dish in a big pile. When the waitress came she looked right at it and I told her I didn't like it at all. She still charged us the upcharge for the uneaten chicken that I complained about twice. I always tip at the very least 20% everywhere, today I tipped $3.
