Pasquale's is a solid choice for dependable Italian favorites. When I was younger they were in a storefront take-out location across the street but that was decades ago now. Anyhow, there is a take-out area and a formal sit-down restaurant with a full bar. It's very nice. The staff was all very welcoming and friendly and greeted us warmly. This is refreshing after so many restaurants with surly staff. They have a great "Build your own pasta" on Tuesdays. You get to choose your pasta, sauce, protein and vegetable, plus you get a salad and bread for $16.99. The salad is very large and fresh, the bread was more like roll, but nice and came with lots of butter and dipping oil. My wife had angel hair with marinara and I had linguine with Garlic & Olive Oil, plus chicken and spinach. It was quite enjoyable and the portion sizes were large. There was no skimping on any of the ingredients. Everything was efficient and clean. It was a great value. We will be back soon! read more

Very solid menu. I have not dined in this establishment but I have yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu. Portion sizes are good and the pricing is very fair for what you receive! If I had one thing to say is I wish when you order the Italian feast you would get a bit of spaghetti on top of the chicken Parm. Price is higher than menu shows, we have tried both take out and dine in. The sauce on both pizza and subs seem to be the same. Eggplant and chicken parm subs and dinners are very good. Not knowing what you are paying can be distracting while trying to eat. I don't want to ask for each item what the price is. My husband said it was like getting a tattoo and if you can't afford the cost then don't order it. I just didn't know if the tip was added because it was more than I had paid last time for same thing. Now,for take out, I ask for the total before I drive up there. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This is such a sad update to a review. TLDR: overpriced for subpar italian food ($18 for spaghetti with meatsauce. Are you INSANE?). And even without a rush, you dont get served!! If you've seen my last review from 2020, this used to be my grandma's favorite restaurant. She passed and we like to go there to remember her every once in a while. Today we arrived at 5pm and were seated. The other two of our party came in at 5:03. At around 5:05pm two other tables were seated (tables up to 4 people and we only had 5 people). So tell me WHY, while we're sitting there, the two other tables get their drink orders AND appetizers and the waitress, hostess, and manager still ignored us??? We thought, well, maybe they dont know our party is here and ready. So we told them and asked why we were being overlooked. They said "well we're understaffed and its rush." To which we said "we understand that, but nobody has checked in with our table and the two later tables were able to put their orders in. Nobody has checked on us." The hostess said a waitress will be with us in a minute. So we waited. And waited And waited And then since the hostesses want to sit and talk instead of delegate tasks or keep the waitstaff up to date with the seating chart at 5:30pm, and still nobody stopped by to take our drink orders; We went to Olive Garden instead. Saved some money and actually got waited on by a caring team. We won't cause a scene in the restaurant, but I will on yelp. I hope the owners and management have the day that they deserve! read more

A pretty solid place for take out and standard Italian dishes. Good gluten free choices and the GF broccoli and cauliflower crust options on the pizza are also pretty tasty. I've also had pasta and wings here. Both are always pretty consistent. The staff here is pleasant when you call and they have your food, mostly, ready on time. I've been to the west Seneca location as well and the food is pretty seamless which is nice to know what you are getting. The portions are pretty big and a fair price for the price. After eating here I can look forward to having leftovers for lunch the next day. I just did a take out order and picked up a small pizza and Tuscan salads with chicken. The pizza was for someone else but it looked good and was hot when I picked it up. Overall the salads were nice. Lots of chicken and it had a decent amount of toppings and what seemed like a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. My only call out is that there were hardly any apples and they were a bit flavorless and brown. They had probably been sitting around awhile and they looked a bit sad. If I ordered this again I'd hope that there would be more fresh apples. Other than that the spring mix was fresh, the chicken was cooked well, and the blue cheese, apples, walnuts and dried cranberries went together nicely. I was happy that they didn't put piping hot chicken in the salad like a lot of places do because by the time you get home the lettuce wilts. The food was nasty. The seafood chowder has IMITATION CRAB in it, and the pasta fagioli was cold and had a weird taste to it. The spaghetti parm was so bland and tasteless to a starving 14 year old teenage boy that he couldn't eat more than a few bites. The service was pretty good, but our friends got there before us and they wouldn't seat them until the whole party got there which I thought was ridiculous since the restaurant was half empty and I had a reservation. My entire experience and meal was fantastic. I met up with my aunt for dinner and we both got the land & sea. SO much bang for your buck. The 8oz steak came with veggies, and shrimp and scallops along with angel hair pasta (we requested the scampi sauce as well). Wow, just delicious. Even the starter salad was tastier than normal. My kids both gave the place 5 stars, and I will say the food was very good. I had delicious shrimp scampi, husband had ravioli, 10yo had a bambino pizza (and said it was the best he's ever had), 6yo had the kids chicken finger meal. Service was very friendly although it seemed they were short handed, as servers were rushing around. The takeout window was very busy but the dining room wasn't. It seemed clean, and the prices were okay. My biggest issue was that the booth was so uncomfortable for me! I'm petite and had to either slide forward in order for my knees to bend, or sit back and have my legs kinda sticking out. I felt like I needed a booster seat! The booth seat padding seemed a little worn out which may have been the problem. Next time I'll ask for a table. Peronally I was happy with the portion size - it was a normal adult meal size unlike the horse trough of food some places give you. I could actually finish it all, which was great, because who wants leftover shrimp? But I thought my husband, who is a big tall guy, was left wanting more. (They do offer bread before the meal which was served warm. Nice and soft for dipping in the oil, and just as good with butter, if you're worried about not getting enough food.) I've been to the Derby location a couple times and always been happy with my meal. We don't go down that way very often living North of Buffalo, but it was great after a day at the beach. I would say this is not my favorite Italian quality of food in the area. My family in the area likes this and we come often, still good and a good time but just not my favorite food. Nestled in the Buffalonian suburb of Derby is this Italian restaurant. The prices might be a little higher than normal, but so are the serving sizes. Our table ordered a variety of meals, which they all liked. I ordered a cream of mushroom soup, which was creamy and with an abundance of fresh mushrooms in it. As this was my first time at this establishment, I ordered the Italian dish I was most familiar with; the shrimp scampi. My dish was not overly buttery, had the right amount of garlic and seasonings, and the shrimp wasnt overcooked. A+ for its presentation too. The dessert menu was limited to cannoli and a variety of cookies. Considering the variety of delicious Italian pastries that we are all familiar with, the serving of a variety of cookies is for what I have deducted a star. The service was quick and friendly too. Ordered a small white pizza,boneless wings and a half assorted sub last night (4/15/24)..the pizza was terrible and the sub was pretty disappointing. The pizza smells and tasted sour like the cheese may have been bad. We've ordered a white pizza many many times from Pasquale's in Derby and have been very satisfied. Was out with my fiancé's grant parents, we wanted Italian. I saw all of the bad reviews for this place and was very hesitant, but went anyway. Let me tell you, best chicken parm everrrr I got it with the meat sauce and penne pasta on side- the meat sauce definitely had homemade meatballs I was obsessed not gonna lie. The portions are HUGE which was amazing, I was so happy with my left overs. Nana's fish was bad, which was unfortunate, but they were very kind and apologetic and took it off the bill. The place itself is so nice and quiet even though there were several other tables seated, very relaxing. We were all able to talk and have such a good time. They also give free bread when you sit!! Went to visit my parents and we decided to give this location of Pasquale's a try. It did not disappoint. To start with we got warm bread and oil. The oil was seasoned perfectly. I got a salad with parmesan peppercorn dressing. It had a lot of cheese on it...yummy. Then on to the spaghetti parm....it was huge and could easily feed two people.
