I don't live anywhere near Campbell, but my friend who does brought me to the Campbell Community Center. Ever since I've been the first time, I've been hooked and love this place. So far, I've only been here to run, but I'm really interested in all of the other services that are available, especially the pool. First of all, the park here is always clean, and the people who go here are usually really friendly and nice. I've never had any issues with anyone here, or felt any negative energy. Lately, I've been coming here to run quite a bit. The biggest reason why I love running here is because of the rubber track. I have really weak ankles and knees, so if I try and run on concrete or on a dirt track, my joints just kill me while I run. But on the rubber track here, I can run my mile smoothly and not be in pain. On the track, there's also a "fitness center" with structures that you can do gym like excercises. read more

This is a review for the tennis instructor, Chuck S. I heard him tell my child "if you're gonna be in my class, then you are gonna do it the way I tell you to!" I was shocked and I cannot believe he teaches young children with this complete lack of patience and kindness. Campbell Community Center: it's time to step up and be aware of who is representing your programs. Coaches like this are unacceptable! Obviously we will not be going back. read more

Great facility for just about any community activity! The Aux gym has been our Bay Ballers home for many seasons now. It's a fun and active women's league for all levels. But I gotta admit it's not really fun when the older ladies are beasting us on the court :/ read more

Lots of activities,lots of room,great track to run on,pool is big,yoga and weight room are sweet.My children have gone here for guitar lessons,drums and track and field activities and basketball.The skate park and soccer field is cool as well! It's very clean,old but remodeled and beautiful! They have tons of classes and a few schools that meet here with all kinds of activities you can join/involve yourself in.It's a part of our little town that makes you love living here! Well maintained community center. Has a swimming pool, tennis courts and a track which I mainly come here for. If your looking to get some late evening runs, this is the place to come. The track is well lighted. Light turns off by 10 pm. The sprinkler comes on at 9 pm and can over spray onto the track. It can get busy during the evening especially when the weather is really nice. The inner 2 lanes is for runners but sometimes you have walkers, you just run around them. Plenty of parking and two restroom. Overall really nice community center, have not seen anything better in the Southbay. I'm so glad I live close by. read more

Very convenient since it's close to home. I've used the track and tennis courts. Track - 4 stars: Well maintained with a fitness corner. The downer is it can get crowded in the evenings with people walking on the inner 2 lanes of the track that are intended for runners (out of my way people!). Tennis courts - 3 stars: For public courts, they are relatively clean compared to some of the cruddy courts in San Jose. Surface has almost no cracks. Downsides: the court nazis can get out of control with the timer (watch out as they kick up a fuss if you don't set the clocks or play past time). The lights are a big minus if you play at night. The lights are low and are not bright enough so unless you're the Dare Devil, visibility is a big problem. Don't bother playing here after 6pm on weekday nights and after 8am on weekend mornings as you'll be in for a wait. read more

I love this place. It has a newly renovated track that is done up nicely with a small FREE nautilus-like exercise area. The exercise area is good for bigger kids/adults as it's set for the average adult (which means I can't reach the pull up bars). The track is really nice and always spacious. The skate park is great for the youth of the area and the LAAARRGGEEE field is great for playing ANYTHING from football to ultimate frisbee to tag to just running. FREE is so good here. read more

This place has it all. Huge fields, great pool, lots of classrooms and basketball courts and it is right in the middle of Campbell. I have a bad back so no basketball for me but I hear the games are fierce but supervised which is good. So with CCC there, there is no excuse to be out of shape with all of the adult fitness classes they have too. Also, there are a lot of people running meetings here and there so if you get involved with something, you will also make a lot of friends too. read more

I would rate the track a 3.5 I love how the lights are on at night until 10p. But there's way too many people so you have to jog around them if you want to go faster. There's a lot of parking and a small outdoor area to work out in. I rated the community center a 4 in general because they provide a lot of classes. I love that the community center offers fitness classes without having to be a member, like at most gyms. Since I often suffer from paying for membership but never following through with the classes, it was great that I was able to just pay for the one class. And it's affordable too, $70 for 10 pilates classes. Not bad at all! I love the teacher, and we even get to borrow balls from the community center, we don't have to go buy all our own equipment. So if the classes aren't for you, you haven't just invested a bunch of money in something you'll never do again! One star off because I have to use the bathrooms to change between getting off work and starting class, and the ones I've been in could use an update. But I will keep using them! read more

One of the best places for a multi sport and educational community center. The city did a great job providing the citizens with outdoor cushioned jogging/walking track, outdoor work out area, soccer field, tennis courts, swimming pool and classrooms. The rest room facilities are in good shape for a public facility. The weekends are filled with kids playing league football or soccer. Great place! They keep the grounds in beautiful condition dispute the entire campus being used every day. They have multiple schools, senior event, and community event every day. They have nice fields, a track, football field and skate park. My 4 year old just finished preschool (tiny tots) here and it was great! Amazing teachers that are very involved and do a great job and good parents that help out. My son learned, grew up and became a better person with the help for this preschool in the one year he was there. My younger son will go here also I am a big supporter and believer of this preschool program! read more

ahhhhhh RUBBER TRACK!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate the rubber track because.... I went to Lynbrook high school, 60 percent Asian population, we SUCKED at sports, therefore crappy track, field, everything you name it. School full of midgets, what do you know... So running here today after work was sweet heaven for my knees. Between my Asics and the rubber track, this is like running on cushion. They have lights on till 10pm so it is an ideal place to run after work and put in a few mile. This is one reason to move to Campbell... I should relocate. I took my son here for two weeks of the beginner swim class. I am not impressed. The first day of each weekly session is spent on tedious guidelines of the pool and thus wasted time for the actual lesson. The young teachers seem untrained and perhaps just certified for water safety but not for actually 'teaching'. The last day of each weekly session is more tedious guidelines of pool emergency and assisted reach (which was very poorly conducted in a group setting by the young 'teachers') and the rest of the lesson was not a lesson at all but jumping into the pool in the deep end with a pool noodle. It's cheap...and you get what you pay for: poorly trained teachers; your kids hair changing color and texture after three lessons; outdoor pool; gross bathrooms; and no real feel that the teachers like kids. read more

Just had a bad experience with one of the workers here, there is a new workout structure and the gates were open and people working out in there. He was very rude when he kicked me and my friends out, threatened to call the cops on us and restrict us from coming back. He took unauthorized pictures of me and my friends and I told him to delete them and he wouldn't and he also would t give his ID to show he worked there. This is the guy, whoever has him working there did a horrible job. Very rude and threatening. read more

I can only review the tennis courts here but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how good of condition they were in and they are FREE. There are four courts, each newly resurfaced with a net at regulation height. Each court is surrounded by fencing so you are not stuck chasing after other courts balls. The courts also have lights so you can play at night. I haven't been after dark before but I am sure it is crowded. If you don't have a match there is a wall to hit against on the handball courts. The only downside to these courts is the timing. They have a wall with clocks to show when you started but most people do not adjust the clock to the correct time or even at all. Without adjusting the clocks it is hard to tell when people's hour court time is up. read more

Attended a fund raiser here, and loved the place! Very spacious and pretty well defined. I loved walking outside before sunset and the place seems very well maintained! Will definitely be on my list when organizing similar events or gatherings once again. read more

Basketballs on Wednesday and Fridays at lunch are great. It's $7 a time or you can buy a 10 or 20 pass where the price per visit drops significantly. The gym is very nice. There is a staff member lee-lah(she's great) that supervises who helps keep every thing organized. Great group of guys who go, you will get a nice sweat. read more

The classes here are really good. The work-out classes are short enough to be able to fit into any schedule and tough enough to really get you working. The Little One loved her Karate class and her Cheerleading class, and the instructors in both were really nice. It was great to have such a wonderful set of classes to have her work in. I think the parking situation is so much better than at other Community Centres and there's always the track, the Skatepark or the tennis courts and back stops. These are all good things for a good city! read more

Come here a few times a week to play tennis! The courts are nice and blocked off so you don't have to chase your balls. They also have lights on the court so you can play at night, which is really nice, especially in the warm weather. The courts do fill up fast, so sometimes we have to go somewhere else if they are full. They have a time system so people put in when they arrived at the courts and when they will leave. Last time we were there the water fountain wasn't working, so that would be the only complaint. read more

The Campbell Community Center is an awesome spot for people of all ages. I've visited the Community Center a handful of times and the campus is very large. This place is so Yelp'n awesome!!! The facility is huge and used to be a high school, which explains the huge outdoor track, pool, racquetball courts, and dozens of classrooms. I am a member of the tri-team and the training times are perfect for my schedule: M/W/F @ 6am. Monday is swim day, Wednesday is spin/biking, and Friday is running on the track (paired with either a bike or a swim). The biking and running coaches are awesome (though I can't say the same about the high school swim coach). Would recommend this class to anyone looking to train for a triathlon or just stay in shape! read more

This is the review of YOUTH AND TEEN VOCALS class by Amanda Dieck at Campbell community center: I wish you can cancel the class after the first time the class meets. Amanda is very poor teacher, and does not really enjoy teaching kids. She basically taught them... nothing. The girls were singing as they normally do with their ipods, and it was just pittiful, not one new song, nothing that requires good singing, just the regular hot pop music from the radio. This was for 8-12 years old, but the same quality was for younger group that my friends daughter went. I can not believe I put 135$ for this session down the drain. I will go and talk to registration office and see if there is a way to drop from the class in the future, otherwise would be cautious of registering here. read more

We recently had our father's memorial service there and I just can't say enough about the staff and the support they gave us . The gym was perfect and they were more than helpful in assisting us in setting it up before the guests arrived ! Definitely recommend the center to rent out! read more

My favorite place to run on a track. It can get crowded at times, but early in the morning, this place is great! Always clean, no riff raff, and the location is perfect for me. LOTS of people walk on this track. It would be nice if all of them could read and see that walkers shouldn't be in lane 1 or 2 ever, but there is no escaping the intellectually challenged. It's better they're walking than just sitting at home watching TV, so it's all good. read more

I've used the track here on a few occasions and I think it's great. It's really nice to have a public track available, especially for running in the evening when it's dark. Great place to run/jog/train on the track! I always get a nice morning jog here and surprisingly it isn't too crowded, well at least in the morning. Opens at sunrise and closes around 10 PM with night lights to support runners. My only complaint here would be people that ignore signs on the track. If the first two inner lines say "Runners Only" then if you're walking, walk on the freakin' outer lanes. Biggest pet peeve lately! Every time I go for an AM jog, there's always some retard in the inner most lane walking as slow as a tortoise on their freakin' cell phone...Have some respect for people trying to run and keep their heart rate up! As a Campbell resident, I'm happy to have such a wonderful Community Center. The assortment of classes offered here, both fitness-related and non, is excellent and many drop-in options are available as well. I haven't used the pool yet but the running track is excellent, The running coach I was taking classes from said the track was rubber so it's nice and spongy (but not too much so) and much easier on the joints than running on concrete. I especially love going for a walk or a run around the track on cool summer nights since the track is well-lit and well-populated until 10pm. :) read more

I teach here on campus at Delphi Academy and love it. All the teachers are able to go to the gym and use the swimming pool and I can say it has been a very good experience all around. It is a very beautiful and friendly campus to be at, they have a track open to the public, a few soccer fields, wall ball courts, tennis courts and of course the Heritage Theater. They have the Orchard Banquet Hall which can be rented out for events and a lot of classes to sign up for. They even have a spot where you can recharge your electric car! This place has a lot of history too which I I love and our building in front used to be the Campbell High School which was established in 1900. Before we moved here I knew nothing of what the Campbell Community Center had to offer. I am so glad I do now! read more

Campbell community center is RAD! When surf goes flat and a solid workout is in order, the rubber track definitely gets it done. There are always a lot of people here, and the lights stay on till 9:30 pm, which gives it a really safe vibe. Between the field, tennis courts, swimming pool, and track w/ workout area, there's something for everyone. Note: If you're walking or jogging, stay away from 3 inside lanes, weaving through traffic gets annoying, mostly when you're trying to show off blazing fast for a whole 2 laps! read more
