We wanted to eat authentic Mexican food and this spot was amazing! The service was great and the decorations are beautiful and authentic! the food was exquisite. The drinks were huge and delicious we did the margarita flight and they were all delicious. Definitely coming back.

We had reservations for a party of 10 celebrating a bachelorette party (on a Saturday night during tourist season). The restaurant was busy. Reservations were easy to make. Service was fast and efficient. Joe, our server, was on top of our order and attentive to everyone's needs. Every order came out correctly and tasted amazing. If you are visiting, 10/10 recommend this place. They had live music and karaoke as well (we did not partake) but this bar/restaurant could be your one stop shop for your nights entertainment.

Stopped for dinner while staying in Galena this weekend and really enjoyed the stop. The chips and fresh salsa were very good My wife and I shared a Family Margarita Flight (see picture), which was a great value compared to the much smaller version for 2/3rds the cost. All flavors were delicious (Jalapeno, Pineapple, Watermelon & Mango) - and the Taijin on the rim made them even better! For our meal, we shared an order of Fajitas (see pictures) and not only was it very good, but it was plenty of food for both of us. It was a bit pricey, but if you are selective in your choices it is manageable - and it all tastes great! If you like Mexican food, you'll want to stop here during your stay. Had a great meal with very friendly service tonight. Taco Tuesday is 3.00 flour or corn tortillas. Table got few orders of chicken tacos , tres amigo (appetizer) and Cochina Pubil. All were flavorful with large portions. Fresh spicy agave margarita was outstanding. Has a great patio --Do yourself a favor when in Galena check this place out.

Tried this place again after several years of bypassing. I had guacamole tacos, beans and rice. The rice was just rice with food coloring. The beans (frijoles) were very good, they must have changed their recipe for the better! The guacamole tacos were also very good. My wife had tacos Al pastor and thought they tasted weird, a strange flavor emanating from the pork. Her marg was just ok. I had a blue moon, can't go wrong there. The floor plan was redone since we were on here last. There is now an upstairs. The chips were a bit stale, but the salsa Fresca was good, fresh. Very efficient service from our waitress.

I went with a lot of expectations. I made reservations to take my family of 9 and the food was no way close to what the reviews stated! For the price they charge- the quality was no way close. For the chunky guacamole, they charge $12 and also add a $1 for extra jalapeño on the side. The beef taco was completely mushed meat which was tasteless. One of my guest- just took a bite and left it untouched. The salsa they served with chips was flavorless as well. It even lacked salt. When we asked for spicy sauce- they gave us something which looked like ketchup and hot sauce mixed. The rice and beans was standard. I have nothing to rave about in every meal we ate. I didn't even take pictures of many things we ordered. I am only giving two stars for the service they provided. Despite having a huge crowd of table near us- our server was attentive and always came to see if we were okay. I won't go back again. I think I can get better Mexican at a fast food chain.

Great dining experience. Lots of outdoor dining. Perfect for an evening outdoors in the summer. Delicious fresh Mexican food and a full bar.

Great outdoor patio. Great service. Food overall was very good. Steak tacos could use a little more seasoning and kick. Would go back again!

Los Aztecas II has about what to expect as far as strip mall ethnic cuisine it seems. About as forgettable as many others like it. The prices are also high for basic things. Coming here the first time it looked like another basic Americanized Mexican restaurant with expected items. It's got plenty of seating. There's way more than enough because it was almost empty on a weekend. As for the menu it's basic. The prices are too high for this. It's about $15 to get a margarita. They have a few flavors including mango and watermelon. It's about $18 for an entree. We each got the Create Your Own Veggie Combo, which is a choice of a couple items. Beans are okay and not made with animal fat. We got these with a bean burrito and a bean taco. It was a gas but not right away. The rest of the menu features familiar items like fajitas and stuff. Got to say it was okay as far as flavor. It's located in Galena Square. This is close to the state's only Piggly Wiggly.

I would recommend making reservations as it was consistently busy. We opted for seats at the bar to avoid an hour wait. This place is tiny, so it would not be ideal for large groups. It would be difficult to accommodate someone who could not navigate stairs (there are both stairs to enter as well as a staircase for most of the dining space). Servers were friendly and helpful, the right amount of attentive. The food came out quickly. They offer light lunch, brunch, breakfast fare, with specials, and baked goods from Lola. A popular special is a homemade pop tart, which has rotating flavors (today was blueberry with lemon frosting). We opted for French Toast, pork belly, and the country skillet. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. All around a great find.
