Then came back and told us to find money so they could sell as cash or get a loan on our own or "figure something else out because we don't have the time to register in PA". So, we went to another location that would process the registration. Then the NH location wouldn't stop calling and texting for the following week. I had issues with being overcharged for services that were not completed and scheduled service that after driving for 2 hours they somehow did not have the parts that I had paid in advance for. Finally time to get an rv so we stopped at Camping World to look around. Well, apparently we are not to be trusted because we were chaperoned every step of the way. We went inside to run numbers and they did not make sense. The price we were quoted was a used unit even though we had not stepped inside a used unit on our chaperoned walk around the lot. We left. Then it really began. 4-5 calls every day while I was teaching. Texts, emails, all of it- several a day, every day. Went to another dealership not affiliated with Camping World and imagine this, we were trusted to look in as many campers, alone, for as long as we wanted. We bought that day. Contacted Camper world in North Conway New Hampshire and online looked at two different campers made out finance papers and have called them a number of times and sales manager was supposed to call me and that was almost two weeks ago but no phone call or cannot find out if finance request went through the finance manager Jessie Ext 1209 cannot get to answer my phone calls. We purchased a beautiful Class C motor home last July (2018). When we were deciding to make this large purchase if the salesman had said the following to us we would not have purchased it! If you buy this: 1. The first night you use it the water filter will leak and flood the bedroom floor. 2. The cabinets will fall off their hinges. 3. 2 screens are broken 4. Hot water heater defective 5. Black tank enclosed spray will empty directly onto the ground. 6. Kitchen sink will leak 7. Unit has 5 TV's one remote missing 8. Automatic jacking system needs to be replaced. 9. 3 outside storage units leak. 10. Kitchen electric stove defective. Plus many other defects that we have repaired ourselves. We have had 7 service calls, we live outside Boston and it takes between 3-4 hours to drive up. We scheduled an appointment For June 22nd we were promised that the outstanding items on our list were in and we could wait while they were installed. Fortunately, we also brought our car because of zero faith in this dealership! After 3 hours wrong parts blah, blah. Returned Saturday, July 6. We dropped off the unit at 9 AM and guess what wrong parts for our last two major items automatic jacks and leaking storage units! During all this the service manager and general manager have never spoken to us. Never offered us any type of compensation not even a bottle of water. The waiting area is dirty with old, broken RV furniture to sit on. Bathroom is terrible. The service representative Carl has worked very hard on our behalf. He personally walked around the unit with us and put huge duct tape on every defect and wrote on the tape what needed to be done. But service techs MISSED several of these! All written on the work order and clearly marked! When we were leaving Saturday a women at the register was very kind to us and embarrassed about our plight. We purchased an antigravity chair and she gave us a discount for our troubles. This women understand Customer Service and has empathy. I do not expect her to be there when we return. Run do not walk away from Camping World! They will call us when the parts arrive! read more

If I could I'd give it minus one star. Such a blatant neglect of someone's else's property. We dropped our camper off because we noticed a leak in the seam. My husband and I talked to service and they assured me the camper would be inside until the seams were repaired. They found the wheel bearings needed repacking, and a few other things. My husband gave the go ahead. They charged us for the packing grease, paper towels, screws, etc. and above all they NEVER sealed the seams and left it outside for over a month. They were aware of how bad the seams were, had it in for the wheel bearings but now claim the tape is on order, but never mentioned this before, not until we showed up at the dealership. The woman assured us it would be done today then told us the tape was on order, so which is right, would it be done today or was the tape on order. They're all warm and fuzzy when you're buying, but the service is way less than desired. YUP buyer beware especially when dealing with this outfit. read more

I think I know why the reviews on Camping World are bad now. We went in to the Camping World in Conway, NH on June 7 and June 8th. The staff greeted us very well and Nathan in Parts helped fine a elbow for our camper and I was not sure if it would fit and he said if it didn't to bring it back with the receipt and he would exchange it or credit our credit card. It didn't fit and I brought it back the next morning and he said he didn't have it in Stock and take it up front and the cashier would credit it back to our credit card. We are only talking about $9 or $10 dollars, and we have the same young man, stocky, with dark glasses as the cashier. He had zero personality today, same as he had yesterday and acted mad that he had to wait on us. This morning, we told him that Nathan in parts told us to bring the valve and receipt to him to credit it back to our credit card. He asked if we had an account with Camper World and we said no and he said I can't credit the sale back to you than and the woman up front told him he could and he just walked off. Obviously he hates his job and takes it out on the customer. We are in the market for a new camper, but it will never be at Camper World. read more

This is NICK one of the sales people at Camping World in N. Conway, NH. He promises you things when you purchase a camper and never follows through. Looks like he does this often too since when I reached out to him 6 months later he wasn't aware of who I was, and thought I was someone else he was working with. Everyone at that location is very questionable when it comes to professionalism, integrity and ethics. BEWARE !!! You can also see in the highlighted section of the second picture I posted some fees they tried to charge me extra for . The financial department consists of a bunch of bullies. I only agreed to this unit due to wanting a camper that was not available anywhere else, and back ordered at many places. If you work with Nick or others at this location please do your due diligence on the RV your looking at, pricing, and hidden fees they attempt to throw at you. I also would use your own bank since the financial department said I would have to get a $30,000 loan through a bank. I called that bank myself, who in turn told me that was not true. I recently purchased a new 21ft tow behind, the purchase went very well, the people were very pleasant, HOWEVER, part of the purchase agreement was to supply a spare tire. Well they didn't have the spare tire the day I picked up my new Camper so they promised me they would send it directly to my home address. 3 months have passed since then, I have called several times with no help at all getting through to the Manager and left E-Mail with them as well. First the Rv's are dirty, I'm not talking just a bit of dirt on the floor from traffic I'm talking down right dirty. Floors, windows, one RV had a puddle of water in the front console of the RV , another used RV that was last years model had all of the previous owners stuff in it........coffee pot, dishes, chairs, towels, washcloths all kinds of crap.....oh and doggy bags. We purchased a NuCamp TAB 400 from a dealer in Vermont back in June. We absolutely love this camper. Unfortunately, one of the windows got broken this past fall. After calling all of the NuCamp dealers in New England and getting no help whatsoever, we reached out to Camping World of Conway as to whether they could replace the window for us. Not only did they did they get us an appointment in early November before snowfall, they did a super job. The staff were knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful. My wife purchased her first trailer in Feb of 2019, everything went smooth until my wife had her first issue with her new trailer.. In the early spring she was having heating issues, she called Camping World of North Conway and explained too them the issue, Camping World was pretty stern and told her that she needed to drive the Trailer back too there shop to have it checked out, which we understood, but we politely asked if they could send a Tech too our camp-site, they disagreed and were very adamant about taking it back to the shop... It was just difficult for us at the time to get the Trailer too their shop, finally they agreed that they would send a Tech to our camp-site to fix the issue, tech did not work for Camping world, he was referred to us by them.. The problem was a broken heating thermostat, which was totally replaced . My Wife was told by Camping World to submit the receipt, for reimbursement, which she did after the work was done in May, we heard nothing and my wife drove to the shop in JULY to purchase camping supply's and also to inquire about the reimbursement, she was told by the gentlemen that sold her the trailer, that the receipt was submitted to corporate and she would be receiving her money soon, which was a total LIE.. I called Camping World in late Nov and talked to Roger Fecteau, and asked what was going on with my Wife's reimbursement, Roger had told me via email that they never received any type of receipt from us. So we sent it again, did not hear anything from them until I called on December 10th, Roger told me in order to get reimbursed we needed to provide the broken part the Technician replaced, we were never ever told of this and we new they were not being truthful to my wife. We notified Corporate Headquarters in Chicago and explained to them about the games being played by Conway, we dealt with a nice lady by the name of Mellissa, she got to the bottom of this issue and as of today, Conway is finally reimbursing my wife after 8 months . After my wife made the purchase of her trailer, she still would go to Camping World to buy camping supply's, but after all this delay and LIE's she will no longer shop there ever again, she will take her business to a shop in Naples Maine. read more

Purchased a 2020 cougar 367fls from Chichester camping world have had numerous issues but the latest takes the cake! A broken shower pan, had to practically do battle to get them (Carl the service writer) to get in touch with the extended service company ( which I purchased through camping world and good Sam) . Finally after a month I received word that it would be warrantied and I had a $50 deductible, upon repair and pick up I was told there was a freight charge, I questioned this and was told by "Carl" that it was my job to do do diligence about my extended warranty I brought the contract in and said " it doesn't say anything thing about freight in here, then I was asked in a loud and upset voice if I was going to pay my $301.37 bill and I was told if not he would have my camper blocked in and was done discussing this with me. I then spoke to the manager who handled it very professionallY. I paid my $50 deductible and was able to leave. *Note... watch what they try to charge you for. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with any customer service ever!!!! read more

I purchased my 2017 326RDS Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel camper from Camping World of Conway NH. I also wasted my money on the extended warrantee on the camper and the extended warrantee on the fabric. No one could fix the fabric, and I had to pay out of pocket for the recent repair of the slider. I put in an insurance claim because Camping World would not cover the repair (even though we had the extended warrantee plan). Now I am waiting for the insurance company to come through and they are dragging their feet. Recently I contacted Keystone directly and was let down again. They told me that we should have contacted Keystone directly. I explained that Camping World did not tell us to do that. They said to bring it back to them which we did. The gentleman I spoke with was a good listener but he was unable to help me. I did tell him that we will be doing our research thoroughly when we purchase our next camper. It probably won't be a Keystone product. But hey, I'm just one customer who cares about one customer. read more

I have been in customer service in a dealership setting for 20 years so I pay attention to the service I receive. I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to the dealership because they been absolutely amazing!!! Tyler has kept me in the loop every step of the way and making sure all my questions are answered. Then, I had the pleasure of dealing with Cameron in the Parts Department when wanting to buy an accessory. He did a ton of research for me and went above and beyond, even making sure I got the best deal I could!! They even got me up to date on my Good Sam membership, including an extension!! We purchased an RV in April of 2018 and right away with only 1,500 miles on the RV the gas hot water did not work. We took it in for service that summer and it worked for a few weeks. When we took it out on its second trip since being serviced it again stopped working, so we took it in for service in May. We were told it was a mother board, and after 3 weeks of being in for service we had a camping trip planned and were told that the wrong part came in and the new part would not be in in time for our trip. The electric hot water heater was still working so we picked up the RV (1 1/2 hours each way, each trip) and used it to go camping. We were told that they would call us when the part came in to schedule a service. In July when we had not yet heard back we called and scheduled an appt. for August 6th to have the mother board fixed, in addition to some other issues (pocket door was broken and needed to be replaced, and the trim piece on the slide was falling off and letting water in). It is September 9th and we were told today that the door has still not yet arrived, and they are still waiting to hear back from warranty to see if the slide issue is covered! We have had the RV in for service for a total of 7 weeks and it is still not even fixed! We opted to purchase the extended warranty to ensure costly repairs would be covered but now they have to check to see if it is and it takes 4 weeks? We were also told that this is "normal" for it to take this long for parts......hope you don't want to actually use your RV! read more

Bought a new RV, has 2 AC units, day one 1 AC unit did not work, the bed above the driver and passenger does not line up even. Keep tripping breakers. We have had a terrible time getting our current camper fixed through their service department. It has been there since November and 6 months have passed. When we went to pick up the camper in April, it was actually not ready and were told the roof vent was damaged while there and did hadn't ordered the parts. We live in Maine and to drive there and not come back with our camper is beyond an inconvenience. We have called many times, left messages, spoken to a variety of people who say they will call back, but do not. When we bought our 2017 Cougar, the saleswoman said the additional insurance we purchased would "cover everything". Thus far, we have been told that almost all of the issues like peeling stickers are not covered. Is anything actually covered? We feel that we were misled and swindled at the sale and are now left high and dry at service. Absolute best buying experience we have had buying an RV ( and I wish car dealerships were this easy!) We saw the camper we wanted online and wanted to see if they had the same camper with a different color interior. When we called we spoke to Destin, salesperson at the Conway location. He did the research we asked and came back to us and said they could ship in the exact camper we wanted. We live 4 hours from camping world so we decided to put a hold on the camper. Due to t he weather and having a newborn at home, it was hard for us to get up there right away, but Destin was nothing but nice and polite and told us to take the time we needed. He wasn't your typical salesperson, he was super laid back and easy to deal with. We asked for a specific amount of money for our trade in (a 12 yr old slide-in truck camper) and also wanted our payment not to exceed a certain amount. There was no bargaining or going back and forth, they were fair with both the trade-in and sale value. We packed up the kids and headed to Conway on a Saturday morning and when we arrived, we were greeted and told to put our camper our back. They did not nit pick our camper or try to give us less for it, it was that easy. Then comes the buying and paperwork part. We were told there was a place I could feed the baby if needed and I thought that was so nice (I'm not breastfeeding but if I were it is so nice to have privacy.) RIck the finance manager was the next person we had the pleasure of doing business with, he was also down to earth and all of the paperwork was easy and quick. When we called a few days later with a finance question, Rick was so helpful! Once the deal was done, another man, I forget his name, went over all of the bells and whistles of the camper. Before we left, we were told to make a list of any little things that needed to be fixed or replaced, and that we could go to any camping world to have it fixed. When we left both my husband and I agreed it was the easiest transaction dealing with the nicest people! I would highly recommend camping world for anyone looking to buy! I can't speak to the RV sales team - but the Service Team helped us with an unexpected and unplanned RV repair during our trip through the area. After being treated poorly on the phone by the local Winnebago Dealer, the team at CW were great to work with. We called after hours, left a message and received a call-back in the morning with an appointment same-day. The repair was made and we were treated fairly. The tech completed a thorough summary of the repair so that we can submit the warranty claim to Winnebago (it was a blatant factory defect). On the store side, we did some shopping while waiting for the service to be completed - very helpful and energetic folks who were eager to help and talk about our travels. Terrible experience from both sales and service. Bought a brand new StarCraft hybrid camper in February 2018. The first time we used it, there was a hole in the tent bed. We also noticed in hot weather our shower stall pulled away from the wall. We live over 3 hours away. We had to bring it up in June 2018 for them to take pictures of the hole. Waited until late August to hear that I had to contact StarCraft directly to get the part covered under the warranty. In January 2019, finally got the call from Camping World our parts were in. Brought it up on March 18, 2019 for the repair work. I called a few times for updates, if it wasn't for that we never would have been called. Got the call that it was finally done and we could pick it up. On June 1st, we made the long trip to finally pick up our camper. I inspected the work that should have been completed and the shower stall was not even looked at! Their solution was to do a quick fix while we waited of inserting more rivets to hold the shower down to the wall, even though I had spoken to another dealership that told me the correct fix was totally remove and remount it of which I communicated to Camping World. When we finally had camper home, the next day I really looked at what they had done to the shower. Now the shower wall is permanently buckled outwards where they "fixed" it. What should have been corrected under the warranty will now cost us hundreds of dollars to fix correctly. Would rather pay than have Camping World touch my camper ever again!!! read more

They have a great selection of Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, and Motorhomes I checked them all out! i purchased a camper at camper world in center conway new hampshire. it's been a night mere. on july 15th we went to camper world to pick up the camper. we were told that they would go straight thru the camper and fix everything, clean everything , and made sure everything worked.we paid over 500.00 for that service when we got there the camper was not ready, they told us it take two hour for them to go over the camper showing us how to use it. the guy there had no idea how anything work, he would not let us ask question he said it would make him lose his train of though. there were a lot of switch we had no idea how to use, he did not no how to even work the tv. he spent 20 mins and then left cause he did not know the answer to our question the service tech help a little more but it was a bad experience. thing did not work, and they never cleaned or went thru the camper. we got the camper home and we were packing to leave i went to make the bed and was horrified the top of the bed and the closet was soaked and molded, the camper was never gone thru , there was dishes in the stove and tin foil and thing still left in the cabinets. and the water damage was terrible we removed the shelf to look behind the bed and closet it was wet and mildew and lot of mold i have a mold allergy and my mom has lung cancer. the gas was never filled the camper never cleaned and the list goes on not enough room in this email to list all the problems .. i called them and they pick up the camper, they fixed the leaks with a half as.. job and never cleaned up the mold. when we got the camper back they stapled the shelf never even put the screw back in or filled the screw holes. so we could not get behind the bed or closet they never took care of the mold, never touch anything behind the bed area , never cleaned under the mattress still wet and molded. the chalking on the out side is terrible they state they found over 20 leaks and fixed them. but i looks like crap like a five year old did the caulking. the slide they said had to be fixed so they fixed it and again half as.. job, the never even finished putting all the parts on the slide and the slide stated to fall apart. the slide leaks over by the kitchen and they stated the pieces were bent and they straighten them which bent again when the slide was put back out the parts should have been replaced the slide looks like i has had damage that was never disclosed to us. the toilet doesn't stop running when you flush. the gages for the tanks do not work right and the admitted that they did not cleaned or go thur the camper before we pick it up they said they went thur the wrong camper and never did anything to ours in error, so far i used the camper for seven night and the mold has not been good for my elderly mom with lung cancer or for me with lupus and mold allergies. we would have pick out a different camper if we knew about the mold, the mold could have serious health problems for both of us. and now the stress is making me sick i can not go on with these problems and would like a full refund for the camper .they have the camper and state we bought as is and we did not last time i called on the camper i got a attitude and i do not need to deal with that. im asking that for the safely and health, both physical and mental that you refund our money read more
