Camping World Golden service totally wasted our time and their communication is appalling!!! Camping World service is a joke! They never even looked at our RV after multi calls and having to bring it back multiple times due to plans. we had to explain our issues of a suspected leak at least 4 times to the service staff. then they gaslight us about it! they never even looked up the part we said needed to be ordered and even threatened to charge more to get it after all of their own complete lack of attention. read more

Wishing I could give this negative stars!! First of all, want to start and say our sales associate was excellent and that he deserves way better than the treatment Camping World-Denver gives him. He had us all set to buy. Oh and we were paying cash ($30K). However, his teeny-tiny, misogynistic, egotistical sales manager, Patrick, I believe, was the biggest issue here. When it came to negotiating, we showed them the same camper for far less than Camping World, and Patrick did nothing. He made up some excuse about laws, etc. Not a good start. Then my favorite. We already had trade appraisal from their affiliate and we were told they would match it. Have picture proof of that as well. He decided nope because it was a pop-up and low-balled us by over $4,000. When we showed him proof that it was to be matched he said he did not care and proceeded to tell us we could leave and trade in elsewhere. He low balled them and we found out the pop-ups he did have were on the grounds for $13K-$15K. And they lacked way more features then ours did and our camper has a sale value of $15,000. His excuses were pitiful. He also told us he does not buy pop-ups and doesn't sell them. When we called him out on his lie and pointed to the three pop ups on the lot, he proceeded to tell us they don't do well because there is a mountain by his shop. Well Patrick, there are a lot of Mountains here and every other camper vendor here does just fine with them. Maybe you need to learn how to become a better sales manager. Oh, and just to make it clear, his affiliate was 2 blocks down the road and had the same mountain by them with a lot of pop ups. Finally, he was completely condescending in how he spoke to both my wife and I. He especially did not like it when my wife questioned him on his lies and he became extremely flustered by that. He raised his voice and proceeded to tell us we could go get our trade in value elsewhere, because we basically called him out in front of his colleagues. Then had the audacity to tell us to come back and buy the one we wanted from him. His sales effort was pitiful, and we know what it means to be in sales. He had made no effort to help us buy the camper we wanted or compensate for his low-ball trade offer, and made no effort to be a good human being. It is sad that people have to work for him, because that is not a leader any business should have. And we will be taking our business elsewhere, and ensure we never recommend this store to anyone. read more

I went to these people to buy my first new camper and was happy right up to when I went to trade it a year later and found out it was worth about half of what I paid for it. it is a 2021 34 Ft. pioneer. And when I went to trade up to buy bigger for my growing family this is when I found out that I got screwed and just how bad it was also. I don't think I can ever deal with Camping World of Denver again. I would say buy somewhere else if you really want to be treated fairly. I have read some of the other reviews and have had similar experiences with their service department. One thing I despise is liars. Today I stopped by Camping World at their new service department off of Ulysses. We dropped our motor home off there on May 4, 2022. Twice I called and left a message for our service manager and he never returned my calls. So, two weeks ago I walk in there to get an update. He tells me what is wrong with it and since it is under extended warranty he would have to submit it to Good Sam. I called a couple days after that and luckily our service manager answered. He told me he had just received the part list and was going to submit it to Good Sam. Today I walk in and they are all fucking clueless. My service manager disappears in the shop and returns with a pink sheet listing for parts. He then proceeds to tell me that it has not been submitted to Good Sam yet. I then replied and mentioned that he told me two weeks ago that whomever "she" is had just handed him the needed parts to submit and yet he is going to stand right there in front of me and lie to my face. He also got cocky and said I should just take our motor home now and bring it back when they get the parts. Total smug smart ass. So, there our rig sits and probably will for months to come. I will never ever do business with Camping World again after this experience. read more

Wow- a lot of people working in the store, but no one was available to assist you. My husband was asking if we could get the brake lights checked as they are not working and the connection was installed by CW. They said their next appointment was Oct 4. Just total axxhole attitude. Got what we needed anyway then went to the one register. Then someone else got in line behind us. After a few minutes I kind of yelled to the line of guys "on the phone" and they said they would send someone over. I see this gal heading over - sauntering, I would say. I know the shitty service at Camping World is kind of their thing, and they have no competition if you are out and need something, although Walmart has a lot of RV supplies. I guess they don't really care to let you give them money for store purchases as they are making all their money by screwing people on "repairs". read more

I recently purchased (March 2021) a brand new Jayco Jay Feather x23 travel trailer thru Camping World of Denver to enjoy this beautiful state of ours with my wife, 3 kids, and my Mother. We also purchased two solar panels and a camera system from Camping world with the hopes of being able to camp off-grid. Since we received the Trailer there have been major electrical problems, plus the solar panels/camera system have never fully worked. I have taken the trailer in for repair 3 times for a total length of 6 months in Camping World's service department (out of the 13 months we owned it). I have opened two complaint cases with the CEO Marcus Lemonis' Office. The response I receive back is that we can keep sending the trailer to the service department (which I suspect is to extend the time period past the manufacturer's warranty) or trade the trailer back to Camping World (of course for significantly less than we paid for it) . I am an U.S. Army/Navy combat veteran and my wife is a U.S Navy Veteran. The peace we try to enjoy through camping has been marred horribly by this experience read more

I waited so long with no one acknowledging me that I finally asked if I was in the right place. "Yep", didn't even look up. The huge clerk was dismissive, I had obviously interrupted something important. I asked, "Should I just wait until someone calls me?" He actually ignored me. I know I spoke loud enough. Bought a brand new 2024 Jayco Seneca XT, Class C and the engine lost power on our first trip and left us stranded. Had to get it towed from Breckenridge to Commerce City. Tow guy says there is all kinds of rusted out spots under the truck (brand new 2024). Driveshaft was all rusted out. One of the driveshaft bolts was able to be loosened by hand and another torqued so tight the tow guy almost couldn't break it loose. Not to mention the propane doesn't work, hot water heater doesn't work and the electric reclining chair/bed got stuck in the down position and won't go up. Starlink doesn't work and tv antenna won't rotate. It had a huge dent and scratch that was a pain to get them to schedule the fix (still isn't fixed, nothing mentioned is). Rusted out bottom in the generator compartment and battery compartment. Guy doing the walkthrough knew less than me. Sales people were very pushy and worse than a car dealer. Mandatory "let's go camping package" cost $1,000 barely included anything. Would not recommend this dealer. Nightmare doesn't even begin to describe this situation. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ordered an oem part for my Jayco and camping world had it sent to the wrong address in spite of me giving them my correct address. My order got shipped back to Jayco. I tried calling camping world to get my order reshipped. I left 3 voicemails for Lexi in oem and 1 email without response. I finally called Jayco direct and within 2 days, I had my order. Incidentally, I ordered a part from a place in Arizona called Jayco Worldwide and had no issues getting someone to order the part and have it shipped within a couple days. This being said, I will always go back to the company in Arizona for orders and never need to return to camping world for anything. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!! read more

I would give our salesman at the Golden, Co location Nick T and financing manager Jeremy all 5 stars, as they worked hard to get our deal done. Thank you to them. They were great!!! We were told about a package that HAD to be added to the sale amount, no choice on that one, was supposed to include store items, a DEEP CLEAN, santitizing, and other goodies. Nope. There was fermented urine in the toilet that still leaves a funky smell, the camper had not been cleaned. Even after they had done some repairs they couldn't even clean up the wood/dust shavings left on the floor from when we toured it. ( and mind you we went back a week later after purchasing it to pick it up, so they had ample time to get the deep clean done) ...We were told they didn't have time to go over anything else as they were booked solid on appointments for the day, so we could reschedule our pickup date to have it cleaned and the extras done like we paid for. This was not an option as this was trip number #2 for us,(12 hours round trip) to pick this camper up. No offer of money back for the package that was added that they didn't honor. When we were hooking up the camper to our truck, a couple of their service guys and gal were sitting there smoking at the open door of our camper talking and making fun of people, us included, because my husband put work gloves on to put the hitch and adapter piece onto the truck. Loud enough we heard every word. The camper had cigarette smoke smell now as well. Asked them to move away from the door and they made snide comments. Fast forward to almost 90 days out we still have no title paperwork at our local DMV to register our camper. So now our camper sits in our yard, expired tags, and been calling leaving voicemails for days, supposed handwritten and delivered phone messages (by their snarky front desk ladies) and emailing for days now for help to talk to someone on what we need to do or what they can do to rectify this situation and no luck. Keep getting passed around to voicemail after voicemail. Then get told oh this is happening alot lately, by the front desk people, and lets not forget to mention now the finance company is now barking at us wanting us to get it licensed and registered so they get their title and we have no control over that. We have a camping trip to Yellowstone planned coming up, and hoping to get some kind of help to either get our paperwork and title work so we can get it properly registered and plated, or get a new temp tag while they fix whatever is going on, so we don't have to cancel our trip. Im sure if we do they will not pay our non refundable camp ground fees. read more

I bought a 21 Keystone Bullet camper from them in September of 21. But the end of the month the camper needed several repairs. I took the camper back and they agreed to fix the issues with the camper. Fast forward to February of 22... They still have my camper and now I can't get them to return a phone call or email to let me know the status of the repairs. I called again this morning and was even hung up on by a woman named Sandy in the service department. Please don't do business with Camping World of Denver! If I could give zero stars, I would. I had my trailer in for a slide maintenance and a recall. The slide maintenance is a one hour job, 3 weeks later I had to tell them I am picking it up. The people at the desk tell you they are so busy but you wouldn't know it. When asked if this is a normal timeframe, 3 weeks for a one hour job, they go on the offensive and escalate the situation. They blame the manager, the manager blames corporate and they just kick the can down the road. Oh, and the recall, never even addressed. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!! read more

They notified me of a unit we had been waiting for. They talked with me by phone, text and email. All of which I confirmed and we set a day to come and get it (200 miles), including calling me to confirm while we were on our way that morning. We arrive and learn that they sold that unit 2 days prior (even though they called me 2x after and emailed me). The salesmen found an older, similar unit and kept telling us "let me get you a great number on this one". While we waited he drove us around the site for 30 minutes and only showed us 1 unit which was in such a state of disrepair that it wasn't even for sale! But we still have them a chance to "get us a great number". What was the great number? They offered to not make us pay to have it delivered to their store and it would cost more than the original, younger unit. they didn't even offer to deliver it to our home, or a closest store. The old school "bait & switch". A very "cut throat" sales operation. read more

These people are great at taking your money but when you want to get some back be prepared to spend weeks calling and getting the run around. Initially called back in December 2022 for a gap insurance refund. Was told we would get a email with the information that needed to be filled out. Called 8 more times to either get a voicemail with no return call or have my information taken down with no return call. In the middle of January 2023 I got transferred to corporate which asked if I had contacted the dealer, only to be transferred 5 other times to find out that I need to call the next day because the gap insurance provider is closed. It will take a lot for me to spend my hard earned money with a place that gives me the run around for weeks. read more

First off I wished I could give this place 0 stars for customer service but having even the decency to even return an email or phone call I guess is totally below this place of business. Which comes to this, why should I payout to me is a huge amount of money over time. Even cable companies are more responsive to their customers and that alone says volumes about how it's being ran. Maybe someone should remind them that customer service is an every day thing, not just when they feel like. What a fun place especially for newbie RV owners like us! While my hubby was off looking at hoses, and steps and levelers, I was shopping for pillows and napkin holders and cubbies. Both of us found what we were looking for at surprisingly reasonable prices. We got an inexpensive membership that saved us money at the store and in the future at Good Sam's campgrounds. This review is of/for sales rep John Sams, only, and a little about the location. We went in with a sole purpose, knowing we are not buying anytime soon, we are in the learning and research phase of RVing. Mr. Sams was friendly and helpful. We only wanted to see a particular model that happened to be available on the lot. We accomplished that. We will buy at some point in the future. I've heard so many mixed reviews about dealers in general. I can say that Mr. Sams was a lot more friendly and helpful than a particular fancy pants place along I-25, and I'd feel a lot better about buying from him than from that guy! I can see how this place would be obnoxious and a hard-sell type environment. It's not easy to just browse, you have to sit at a desk and give them your name and such first off. Which is irritating. Be strong and state your requirements up front and hopefully you will be treated well and hopefully Mr. Sams is there when you walk in! read more

Staff was super friendly and nice. Terrible service though. I put in a interest form online for a certain trailer. Camping World called ME to schedule a appointment for this trailer I was interested in. They asked me to come down and take it look at it since they have it. I made the appointment and drove over an hour to the location. I get to the store and I walk around a lot showing me 4 other RV's that are similar to the one they called and made an appointment for. 2 of them are way out of the Price range I told them and 2 were decent. I get taken around the lot twice, and they come to find out that they don't have the trailer they called ME to make an appointment for and to drive an hour to see. All I get is a sorry and hopefully we can call you in time when we get another one in. Staff super friendly just very frustrating on the quality of service for such high priced items. read more

I was asked to bring my Class B van in early when the service wasn't even going to be completed for 2 weeks. However, the work was not completed for 3 weeks. The service advisor insisted he said 3 weeks but my spouse was with me and he said 2 weeks. I emailed the service advisor 3 times and he never replied. I only received a call immediately before the service was completed. When I picked the van up, the windshield was cracked. Both the service advisor and service manager insisted it did not happen while the van was in their possession. It did. We left a message for the dealer manager to call us about this. He never did. I had read so many reviews on the poor service for Camping World but I decided to try them anyway. I now agree with the poor reviews and will never return to Camping World again. read more

Wow, what a disappointment! I will start by saying, "don't get your RV or tow vehicle serviced here," period. I bought a 2018 travel trailer, that was almost brand new, from an independent person. I wanted to have my Lincoln installed with a 7 plug and brake assistance for my trailer. I paid about $2000.00 for this, which I later learned was a complete ripoff! My salesman was Lonny, a hired thief, as far as I am concerned. So many promises, then a change of price, etc.. I mean the most dishonest salesperson I have ever met in my life, and I sell for a living! He played so many games with me on the pricing, and yet the quality of the job done was awful! I had to return my SUV the day after I got it back, as the 7 way plug didn't work lighting up the trailer lights etc.. After spending another three hours at their place waiting the next day, I was guaranteed the plug was five, and fixed. I also questioned the brake wiring, as the wires were all over the place, and not put up nice at all? Lonny, and Walter the mechanic, assured me it's okay, that's normal etc.. please note; I had another shop, Integrity Automotive, look at the wiring, after the lights went out a second time. First, I called Camping World to talk to Sam the Service Manager, while stranded on the highway, with no return call. I called multi-times, over two days, only to be brushed off! Horrible service team! Anyways, Integrity Auto told me is was the worst wiring job they have ever seen in their history! So sad... Please note, I spent another $1000 on misc camper items at the store. Only to learn Lonny got me again, by charging me install on my battery, that I didn't need. (I learned later). It was suppose to be free install, but he charged me. When I went back, he had all kinds of excuses, even thou I had an ad showing him; clearly he was playing yet another game. Horrible experience, I will never do business with them again. I am going to file a formal complaint with the BBB, as I have heard so many bad things about this company! read more

I would give zero stars if possible. Worst Camping Service Center Ever!!! I took my brand new camper in for service for a leak in a grey tank. After paying $1200 to have it fixed and supposedly winterized, It was not. It froze over the winter and froze the toilet, black water and grey water. I took it back in because it flooded on our first campout after their repairs. They accused me of having work done elsewhere incorrectly. They also broke the motor to raise and lower the pop-up which was fine when I took it in. They accused me of having it welded by someone else. They charged me another $700. None of the problems were caused by us and we never went to another shop. Bobby in Service, David Jakes, Dennis Bridge and Mr Lemonis did nothing. I highly recommend not doing business here. They clearly don't care about their customers. Awful service and even worse management!!! read more

I was planning on leaving for a camping trip Saturday and ordered all the parts for the trailer break on our new tow vehicle. Come to find out the supplier didn't mention the wiring harness was back ordered so our whole order arrived but without a wiring harness. Called all over town and no one has one in stock until I called camping world. They do stock some Redarc components (our trailer break is Redarc) and one was the universal wiring harness. The 4runner specific harness would've been better since it was plug and play but I'm handy enough to put a few wires together to make the universal work for me. So glad they had it as our trip would've involved a family's tow vehicle instead of our new one had we not been able to get this hooked up. So keep stocking Redarc trailer breaks and their associated wiring please! It's the best looking one on the market in my opinion. read more

I recently traded in my travel trailer and ordered a class B Winnebago Travato. My experience with my salesperson. Nick A, was very good. There was no pressure to buy a class B on the lot as I wanted very specific items on my unit. He checked for units around the country to find one, but we decided to order my unit to fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable and careful on my order before we signed. The price, especially in this r-v boom time, was very competitive. Do not do business with this company. If you're buying a RV/trailer from them, be sure to have your personal mechanic/technician do a walkthrough. The techs concealed a non-functioning AC unit. When I brought it home and tried to turn it on for the first time, it was already toast. They make misrepresentations that all systems are operational, but when requested to run the AC on the lot, they told me they couldn't run it there due to power constraints? I take it back in and they want over $2k to replace the unit - no discount, no assistance. I'm a lawyer who hates being taken advantage of and legally wronged, so I'm filing a lawsuit in small claims court against Jacob Gaspari and the tech who did the walkthrough regarding the misrepresentations and fraud committed during the process.
