    House Margarita (Passion Fruit)

My wife and I were excited to try this new taco spot when we heard about it. I thought I was walking into a fast casual counter service restaurant, but I was mistaken. Moments after I netting we had been escorted to a wide, comfortable booth and being served complimentary chips. This is a full service restaurant, and a good one! The salsa that they serve has a nice heat and depth to it. We also ordered the queso, and it had a deep, cheesy flavor that did not disappoint. It was not at all bland like some other queso's. The servers checked on us frequently and brought our food out quickly. And the food was good! Everything we had was so delicious. My wife loved her tacos as much as I loved my enchiladas. And the value was terrific too. This food is far from overpriced. The 3.5 dollar tacos are loaded with meat. And barely any dishes were more than $13.50. I cannot wait to go back. You should check it out too!

I stopped in here for a late lunch because I heard they had great lunch deals, and I was not disappointed. I was greeted by my very kind server, who, throughout my time there, went above and beyond to provide amazing service. While they have many amazing and well-priced lunch dishes to choose from, I went with their steak fajita quesadilla. While I waited for my food, the server brought over chips and salsa. They salsa tasted fresh and it was delightfully spicy. My meal arrived shortly after I ordered and it was perfect. Deliciously cheesy with rice and refried beans to enjoy with it. I was also able to do some work on my computer while I ate. Truly a perfect spot to stop in for a quick lunch or to telework. Campo Taco is a newer spot in the Triangle and definitely worth stopping in.

Service was wonderful at this new restaurant, the bartender was very friendly and food and drinks came out fast. The chips and salsa were delicious and dangerous, you may find yourself chomping on them too much! I loved the guava margarita, it had great flavor without being overly sweet. I really wanted tacos and I loved that I could mix and match. I ordered the asada, pork belly, and Baja fish. The pork belly was my favorite, the sauce was delicious. The steak was a bit overcooked so it was kind of tough and i am just not a fan of breaded fish so those weren't my favorite. I loved the flavor of the beans and rice. I'll definitely be back.

This is a great new Mexican restaurant! They give you free chips and salsa, and the salsa is one of the better salsas. It has a nice flavor and kick. We also got the queso, which is very good. I got a birria taco and a carnitas taco. They were pretty big, and two tacos plus chips with queso was more than enough for me. It wasn't very busy when we went, so our food came out quickly. The service was very attentive as well. I felt like the prices were good and portions were big. I will be back!

Tacco trio, marg flight & quesadilla

Friendly and attentive service. Delightful margarita flight with beautiful presentation. Tacco trio (Baja shrimp, carnitas and birria) the birria tacco was fantastic!!!!!!! Yummy gaqumole & salsa. Chicken Quesadilla was merp not too much flavor. But the nachos... That bad boy has chicken steak and shrimp... And it was so tasty!! Will definitely be back!!

We walked over to Campo to give it a try. The hostess that seats you was taking a bunch of take out orders which meant we had to wait to sit down. It was around 6:50 and the sun was pouring in. I had to position myself so that I didn't get a sunburn. Maybe consider blinds or window tint? All the booths are located together adjacent to the bar and were taken so we sat at a large table pushed together in the center. You get free chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy with great texture. The margaritas have multiple flavors and I enjoyed the blood orange one. Several other customers had the tower which looked fun. I had the chicken quesadilla and the meat had great grilled flavor. My husband had the enchiladas and enjoyed the beef one and the chicken one and the accompanied sauces. The bean one was bland but the queso sauce on top was creamy and tasty. I would definitely return and try something different. The portions are plentiful!

Burrito Roqueta (front) and Enchiladas de Mole Poblano (back)
    Ken D.

We went for lunch and tried the Enchiladas de Mole Poblano and Burrito Roqueta, both with chicken. Both dishes were very flavorful. It was a great value as the portions were generous and the meal came with free chips and salsa. The service, quality, and quantity all exceeded expectations. We will definitely be back soon! The vibe is bright and open, with plenty of windows and natural light. It's located on the Rocky Branch greenway, close to downtown, and there is free 2hr parking in the building.

    Margarita flight

This is more of a 3.5, I really wanted to like this place. The margarita flights is what brought me here. They have 9 flavors to choose from and the flight is a set of 4. I chose blackberry, dragonfruit, guava and passion fruit. The presentation was really cute. Not on the strong side for me though more sweet and tart than anything. Chips and salsa also were given to us to start and the chips were really fresh. I ordered the campo bowl and choice chicken and steak for my protein, cilantro rice and refried beans. It also came with lettuce, pico, roasted corn and sour cream. The meal lacked flavor and I asked for like a sauce to go with it but my options were either ranch or hot sauce. It was just missing something. Our server was really kind and very attentive. The manger came by as well and checked in. The place is new so it's bright and clean in there. If I do go again I'll try something different to eat and maybe it'll change my opinion of here.

I have been wanting to try Campo Taco Co since they opened and I was not disappointed! It was taco Tuesday so I ordered tacos even though I am more of an ACP kind of girl. The Cachetada de Ribeye was the star of the show, next time I am ordering 3! The Chori-Queso is a must also and I don't even like chorizo. Servers were really nice and attentive.

Amazing, amazing, amazing service, atmosphere, and food ! The ACP is to die for ! The owner Lucas is so friendly and knows his stuff ! Our bartender Eric was so much fun ! Definitely would recommend !

    used bandaid in campo burrito
    Miche R.

TLDR: used bandaid in my burrito I have worked in restaurants for over 10 years and currently work in downtown raleigh. this is the nastiest thing I have ever encountered. I ordered $60 worth of take out on 2/1/25. I ate almost my entire burrito. I happened to look down while taking my next bite and there was a used bandaid inside of my burrito. I almost ate it. I am horrified. We immediately packed up all of the food and brought it back to the restaurant, which was pretty busy. We asked to see a manager. The manager would only speak to my boyfriend and not me. He immediately said he was going to ask the BOH staff. He came back and said that no one was wearing a bandaid and that everyone was wearing gloves. I informed him that I currently work at a restaurant and it is extremely unsafe to not wear gloves - especially with any open wounds or bandaids. He again reiterated that everyone was wearing gloves. He did not take accountability for his restaurant - which made me feel like no staff re-training would occur. He offered us a refund and asked if we would like another meal. no thanks! If the bandaid was inside of the rice or one of the other ingredients, all of the food would be contaminated. I worried about the other people eating there because it did not seem like the manager would inspect anything further. Before writing this review, I wanted to give the restaurant another chance to make things right or at least make sure this wouldn't happen again to another customer. Consuming a USED BANDAID is extremely unsanitary and unsafe. I called the restaurant the following day, 2/2/25 and asked if the GM or the owner was currently there. The woman on the phone said that he was and asked what this was regarding. I told her that I was following up about an issue with a takeout order. She said the manager was in the bathroom and that he would call me back in 15 minutes. She said they have caller ID and repeated back my phone number. The manager never called back the entire night. This restaurant not only does not follow proper food handling procedures, but also lacked accountability following a very serious incident. I do not believe they are re training their staff or telling them the severity of what they did. I could have gotten sick. I'm still worried that the person who was wearing the bandaid could have an illness that could pass to me. This really is the worst thing you could do to a customer.

This is is amazing . The cup it is served in reflects how good the water here is , perfectly crisp and clean flitered tap water 9.2/10

The water is simply amazing . The ice choice is exquisite. The cup it is served in (light blue Coca-Cola cup) perfectly shows how the water will taste. Crisp and clean

Their roast beef panini is on par with Portillo's a long standing Chicago beef restaurant (IYKYK). I've NEVER had a beef sandwich that was better than Portillo's but Postino you managed to take a hometown classic and elevate it to a point beyond my expectations - if you get this sandwich I recommend getting it on the ciabatta bread versus focaccia. Let's not overlook the tomato soup - it's so rich and flavorful. For a lighter lunch my go to is the tuna panini with broccoli salad. They are known for their boards, I've not had the bruschetta yet but it looks delicious. My favorite board is the hummus. One thing I hate is when a restaurant gives you a big bowl of hummus and not enough pita. That is not the case here, you'll get pita, toasted bread, and a variety of vegetables to scoop up the velvety humus covered in cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta. For date night enjoy a Violet Femme a gin cocktail that tastes as lovely as it looks. The service here is top notch! Everyone is fantastic. I'll have to come back to this review to note the serves names we've had because they have all been exceptional. Now let's talk about the vibe! Postino's nailed the indoor/outdoor feel. Plenty of windows that are open on nice days, plants galore and the decor gives you a cool like rockstar but classy feel. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough.

It's the kind of place where you lean back in your chair, sip something cold and clever, and say, "Well now, this ain't too bad at all." The décor walks a fine line between polished and playful: clean-lined furniture, soft neutral tones, and just enough brass and glass to catch the light in all the right ways. It's modern, sure--but not in a cold, standoffish way. More like it got dressed up for the evening but still knows how to laugh at a good story. Their papas bravas show up like they've got a little swagger--golden potato wedges, crisped up just right on the outside and fluffy as a cloud where it counts. Then comes that roasted tomato sauce, rich and a little smoky, hanging out in the backround, waiting patiently to be introduced to the potatoes. And just when you think you've got it figured out, along drifts the aioli--cool, creamy, and smooth-talking--balancing the whole thing out like a charm. The albondigas might look like your standard meatballs at first glance, but don't let 'em fool you--they've got a little mischief tucked inside. Light as a whisper (seriously, how are they this fluffy?), they practically melt the moment you give 'em a nudge with your fork. They're lounging in a rich marinara that's got that slow-simmered, "somebody's nonna would approve" kind of depth, while a snowfall of parmesan settles on top like it knew exactly where it belonged all along. And onto the jackfruit barbacoa tacos, they roll in like they've got a story to tell--slow-simmered, deeply seasoned, and just a little unexpected. The jackfruit pulls apart in tender, saucy strands that swear they used to be something else, soaking up all that bold, smoky barbacoa flavor like it was born for the job. Just when things start heating up, the cilantro lime crema slides in smooth and cool, like it's here to keep the peace. Whether you're there for a slow cocktail at golden hour or a lively night under the stars, the whole place hums with that easy, slightly quirky grace that makes you want to stay just a bit longer than you planned.
